I stopped by today to order a Caribbean passion smoothie and when I got it it was yellow and more like a juice. I mentioned it to Greg and he said "you don't have to be so rude." I by no means said it to be rude simply because I've ordered it before and it's never been this way. I go to Jamba juice at least 3 times a week since it pretty close to me but like everyone I like to get what I pay for. Greg continued to slam around the blenders despite there being no other customers I was in such shock. The customer service is very poor and I don't know if anyone has brought attention to it. Came here after a full day at the Safari Park. Jamba juice smoothie was refreshing. This location is in a strip mall with many stores. When we entered, a few people behind the counter welcomed us. It had been awhile since the last time we were at jamba juice, so we had to look over their menu. It's nice that they have some of the classics smoothies and some new ones. Every time I walk in, they greet me with a "Hello!" or "Welcome to Jamba!", which is more than most places do from the start. They almost always have enough staff, and I've never waited more than 5 minutes for my smoothie, and it's always the right one, and tastes just like I remember. The cashiers always know what they're doing, and the place is modern enough. They started selling bakery items, granola bars, wraps, other drinks, and chips, so they've improved their selection. The green and orange walls and tiled floor make the place look upbeat, and they usually play relaxed, fun music. It looks well maintained, and always smells like smoothie (duh). Every time I've come has been a pretty good experience. The place looks nice and the customer service is great. I'm a pretty patient person when it comes to waiting because I understand when it's busy it's hard to have the orders come out. However, I waited for more than 30 minutes for two drinks and a food item only to have them give me the wrong order. I don't like to give harsh reviews. However, I feel it is my duty to make fellow Yelpers and potential Jamba Juice patrons aware of the concerns I have with their baked goods. Specifically, there has never been an occasion, in which I have not seen little black gnats flying around the pretzels in the baked goods case. What-how can this be? I came in for a beverage made of fresh fruits and vegetables! What does this say about their standards for overall quality/freshness. What's even more unnerving is trying to keep a straight face when the trained staff asks me, " Would you like to purchase a baked good with your juice?" Are they blind? Or is up-selling more important than the health code? My advice to patrons: stop by for a drink and a smiley,well-trained Jamba Juice employee, but stay away from the baked goods!
