Since I was little I have been going here and I'm so happy it's still open. Their Thai tea has been my absolute FAVORITE since day one. I also enjoy their coffee blended drinks however a little sad that they don't have the white chocolate coffee flavor anymore ): the lady that works there is so sweet and said white chocolate is her favorite too but because not a lot of people order it anymore they don't have it. I got the hazelnut flavor instead and it was insanely good. That coffee will WAKE YOU UP! I will say, the drinks have an "artificial" taste but kinda in a good way, like I'm not upset about it. I had the best smoothies at surf city in the carlsbad mall. Those smoothies have been on my mind ever since. To my surprise this mall which is closer to me also has this chain! I was thrilled. Today I went and this kiosk located in the middle on the first floor was lit dim and with no cheer around it. You could instantly feel the mood not vibrant like the other location which was flooded with people and smiles every where. I tried the extreme Oreo and chocolate covered strawberries. These drinks did not have the creamy special mix flavor that made the other locations drinks so magical. They tasted very sweet and just lacked something. While running my errands at the Westfield mall, I came across this Surf City Squeeze on the first floor. It is near JC Penny's, in a small kiosk. Their menu features a variety of fruit smoothies, boba slush/teas, and coffee smoothies as well. You can order off the menu or pick and choose your own items. Their small triple berry drink was around $4 and a medium bee stinger was around $5. The best deal is to get a large size and share with someone else. Not only were the drinks delicious and refreshing but the girls working there were super fast. I got my drink within 2 minutes after placing my order! Had the best smoothie of my life today... it was so good I had to leave a review .. Let me tell you about the customer service I received from Sunny.. I told her about our home having water damage and we were just lookin for something, "a lil sweet." She chuckled.. and I chuckled, and then she chuckled some more. I told her about my times in a moped gang and she told me a few good stories about her times in San Francisco. We locked eyes for a good minute before I had to ask her if she was going to make my smoothie... Sunny goes, "Yeah, sorry... I was just thinking about my whole life." This place is owned by a couple and it has been around for years at the mall! Even if your not looking to shop, you should still come into the mall to try out their drinks. They have the BEST smoothies! Your not getting an all natural smoothie with just fruits, they definitely add other ingredients in the smoothies (possibly sugar and yogurt) but whatever they do it's soooo worth it. I really love the strawberry banana and blueberry banana and I'm never afraid to try a new flavor because I know I won't be disappointed. Their blended boba drinks are good - my favorites include lychee, watermelon, and green tea. They're nothing extra special but keep me coming back. When I got to the front of the line, I still didn't know what I wanted, and I said that to the employee, but she decided to roll her eyes at me. The smoothies here are DELICIOUS. However in my opinion they are way overpriced. So I was super excited that I had a coupon for buy one get one free in my entertainment coupon app. This is new because it wasn't in there last year. I went to the kiosk and once I ordered I showed my coupon to the older Asian lady who works there and she flat out said she wasn't gonna accept it. Ok that's fine but what irritates me is when these businesses sign up for these promotions themselves and then when it comes time for people to redeem the offers they act shady. Bad business practice! The coupon clearly states their logo, address and expiration date in 2018. I didn't even wanna argue with her because I knew I wasn't gonna win. Annoying!
