But when Jamba Juice partnered with the Portland Trailblazers a few years ago, giving out a free drink whenever the Blazers scored over 100 points and won, I had to visit. My favorite is the Mango-A-Go-Go. It's not too sweet and sticking with my rules on liquid calories, I would turn the mango smoothie into an adult beverage by adding Tequila and a wedge of lime, once I get home, of course! Perfect on a hot summer day or anytime! Servers here are friendly, engage and will answer any questions you have about the various options. They will even little samples. And if you don't like the drink you chose, they will remake it. Basically a guarantee. On the rare occasion I stop in, I get the Mango and transform it into a tasty cocktail. This review is purely for customer service as Jamba Juice itself is the same everywhere you go. Today I came in and place an order for four drinks. The place was PACKED. All the employees were in beat with one another and if they were off, they never let the customer see it. My order came out 3/4 correctly, and when I let the head person know they immediately said something to a co-worker and my new drink was out in less the. 2 minutes. I got the apple and greens which was terrible, never order it because it has a fishy taste from the spirulina in the green juice. Wow! What an amazing way to end a blazing hot 4th of July drive from Seattle to Portland. As soon as we came in we were warmly welcomed by the two radiant masked smiles of Cole and Hannah. Hannah was super friendly and quick behind the counter, she asked how my weekend was and I really appreciated that, and Cole (even though still in training) made the best smoothie I've ever had and hope to enjoy again soon (he also remembered my name after the fact) :')! Absolutely awful service. Placed the order online, and went inside to see if it was ready a few minutes before the time the app said. It wasn't, so we waited inside the store. About 5 minutes later someone asked for the name to check on the order and found that the online orders were stacked up in the back and they were making the orders for people that came in and ordered before. Once they found my ticket they took it out of the stack to make. Everyone that came in after and ordered at the e store had their drinks and left before they even asked about mine. Pointless to have the app for that location if they are going to out it in a pile until they find out you're there. read more

Last time I went with my husband I gave this place a 2 because we had huge chunks at the bottom of the drinks that could not even fit through the straw. Went back again asked for double blended due to chunks last time. The girl said ohh no! Seemed shocked. We both still had chunks, smaller but chunks. Now I went for years before I moved to another location and had them weekly and never once had chunks so I don't know what is wrong with this location. I had a late night pregnancy craving for some Jamba the other night so my boyfriend and I went down to the cedar hills store close to closing to grab one. The girl working seemed upset while we were ordering and while she made our drinks. Slamming the scooper and the blender around. After we got home and I drank nearly all of my drink I notice something in the bottom of mine. It was part of the blender blade and as I looked closer I noticed metal shavings in my drink. A little concerning, not only because I drank my drink with all of that in it and I'm pregnant but also that the customer service level of the employee was that bad to not notice the missing blade. JAMBA! Jamba juice is A-OK in my book. They've actually gotten a bit better in terms of providing "healthier" options, substituting ingredients free of charge, and posting calorie counts on the menu. I don't go often but it is a nice little summer treat or even meal substitute vs. having to make my own. Hint: they have coupons on their website periodically! My go-to is the "Apples & Greens" so I can get good with both my fruits and veggies for the day or I also enjoy the all-fruit smoothies. I most recently tried their new Kona smoothie. Full of berries, soy milk, and some sort of boost - it was delicious! They let me swap the sherbet for greek yogurt no prob. .25 extra for a 'lean' booster and I was good! They are kind of expensive...get ready to pay around $5 for the mid-size. They do have daily specials during the week however, and you can often find coupons on their website or in the newspaper. Another solid for Jamba is that they serve food as well. Mainly breakfast items like oatmeal or delicious carby items like pretzels. I have to review these guys today just because they are so sweet and awesome. The smoothies and juices are what you expect from a Jamba; the service is always prompt and friendly, and they keep the shop really clean. But today they really went the extra mile. I left the store with a large drink in each hand and I tripped and fell in the parking lot (spectacularly, I might add), crushing both drinks in the process (and my dignity?). So I headed back in to throw away my now empty, dripping cups, and to grab some napkins to clean my hands. The Jamba crew immediately prepared the drinks again (at no charge) and even offered a towel in case I needed to clean the car too. I was already a fan but today they truly won me over; this is excellent customer service. read more

I go here relatively often in the summer. I love me a nice smoothie and JJ generally meets that need/want. I've been to JJs in Oregon, California, North Carolina and New York and they all serve pretty much the same thing. But, like Starbucks in the coffee realm, there is something to be said for consistency. Is Jamba Juice the best smoothie I've ever had (is Starbucks the best coffee I've ever had)? Answer: No. But I know what I'm getting when I order something from either business regardless of where I am, which is a good thing. Respectfully, I disagree with Catherine K.--I think generally most JJs *are* in fact created mostly equal. I have not really seen anything at this particular location to make me thing it is any better or worse than another location. It does seem as if prices have gone up or something. I was at this location with my friend, Ryan P. this past Saturday, and I got two medium size ("Original"?) smoothies both with whey protein added and it cost me ten damn dollars! It seemed like an awful lot for medium smoothies, but whatever, they tasted good, even if they did get my order wrong (I guess, "Mango Mango" *is* similar sounding to "Mango A Go Go", but maybe they should have thought of that before naming two different drinks similar sounding names?). How is it that I come in multiple times a month and always ask for the same exact thing and every single time I get it it tastes completely different? I have a severe strawberry allergy and your employees are always asked to thoroughly clean their machines when they make mine. It always takes forever like 45 minutes which is ridiculous. As much as I love this place I can barely drink a small. I love all the combos they have and now that they have come up with a whole string of drinks made with coconut water I am hooked. I have a love affair with coconut water and a few of my friends are always on the lookout for new coconut water products for me. When Jamba Juice came out with the coconut water drinks.... I actually finished my drink for the first time ever. It was light and fruity and not at all as filling as the others that can really fill me up.
