Great juice but says they open at 7am and I came at 8 and there's no one at the store and it's closed.

Sad. This used to be a nice place. Where did it lose its way? Big, visible hygiene problems in my book mean that there are even worse things going on that I can't see. Yuck. My experience this week: * One bathroom out of order * The other one probably should have been because the toilet seat was broken, it was dirty, and no paper towels to dry my hands * Yet, the place was empty, so one of the staff couldn't look after this? * Staff person goes to the trouble to try to do that straw trick where they unwrap the straw halfway for you, except she manages to actually touch the straw before sticking it in my drink read more

I am really impressed with Jamba Juice for moving with the health trend and giving affordable fresh juice options to people. You can still get your favorite sugary drinks, so don't fret! I also love how you can swap ingredients to make your favorite combo. I love their fresh carrot juice and try to add that to any drink I order. That being said, they do have some room for improvement. They don't have juice processors that take kale, or they consciously choose not to juice kale. Instead, they put fresh orange juice, banana and kale in a blender and call that a juice. The "juice" comes out chunky and it's like I'm eating cut up grass. I always swing by when in the area. Their Strawberries Wild are my all-time favorite. It's loads of sugar, but it makes me feel good, if not healthy. Their larger sizes are an overkill for me, so I always stick with the smallest one. read more

Bam. It's Jamba Juice. You know you can get smoothies here. They are pretty tasty. I don't think their other offerings (be it a sandwich or pretzel) are really worth it. What is worth it is getting 4 16 oz smoothies (any of the smoothies they offer, not just the original ones) for 12 bucks. That's 3 dollars for a smoothie. Not to bad! This has become a routine thing for my office. Side note - the sugar content is actually pretty high. But the calories are not that bad. read more

Jada is amazing! Had a snafu at the JJ in the Arboretum (no one showed up to open the store) so went to this one instead. After calling this JJ to get a contact number for the Arboretum store to complain (me hungry makes me cranky), Jada answered the phone and was so awesome. She listened to my rant and was so friendly, empathetic, and genuine on the phone. She handled the situation/call so well. I might not have gone back to JJ for a while, if at all, bc of the Arboretum store but Jada turned the whole thing around. Definitely recommend this JJ. Pretty typical Jamba Juice location. Yummy smoothies. I agree with another poster that they don't always make them in the order placed. One downside, don't know if it's acoustics of this location only, but it is LOUD inside. Like, so loud it's hard to talk to the person next to you. Staff is friendly. My secret for Jamba Juice is ask for your smoothie to be made with extra ice. It will make it thicker and last longer. Sometimes they even give it to you in a bigger cup (although that has never happened at this location). read more

Stopped by this location 20 minutes ago, at 8:06 am...wanted to get my daughter a smoothie before dropping her off at school. It was an out of the way trip for us. Well, every sign says they open at 7am, we arrived at 8:06 and no one was there and it was locked up tight. This location is usually fine. There's a couple of dude-bros usually working and they're helpful, nice and efficient. Today was a bad day. The dude-bros weren't there and three new people I didn't recognize (I'm here often). There was one person in front of me. They got their order and left. I waited and waited, two people came and left behind me and I should've taken the hint. After the girl up front had been ignoring me for awhile the other guy asked if anyone was "on register" and the two others curtly answered no and kept juicing carrots and cleaning. Eventually my order got taken and then about 5 people had queued up behind me, they were also ignored and I left with them all still waiting with no greeting/service. This location randomly churns out orders regardless of the order in which the orders were placed. So you might end up waiting a while. Also, the person at the end of the "assembly line" feels compelled to yell your name at the top of her lungs even though there were only 3 people waiting. Guess what, this isn't the military and you're not a drill sergeant. So stop fuckin' yelling. Also, I had to hear "thank you for your patience" from the same person, really loud in a country accent about 12 times before i heard it directed at me. The word "patience" in a country accent is very annoying. You wouldn't have to yell this if you would make the goddamn juice in the order the orders were received. read more

I hate to do it, but I have to do 4 stars on this one. I have been a Jamba Juice regular since I stepped in my first JJ in Honolulu 13 years ago. The strong scent of fresh oranges got me for life. That being said, this location just doesn't cut it for me. This Jamba Juice is fairly large, with outdoor seating. I have always ordered the Razzmatazz or the Sour Patch Kid. I tried Razzmatazz, and gave them a break - it wasn't sour enough, but still good. The next day I went with Sour Patch Kid - same problem. It's called a Sour Patch Kid because it is meant to be Sour, no other lcoation has had a problem with it. If their tart drinks had the tart they should, it would be 5 stars for sure. They had to stop mid pour because there wasn't enough in the drink - and added more ice, I'm sure that doesnt help the tart issue. I saw them do that three times in 1 visit. Great customer service, a child drppped her drink amd they offered to make a new one for free. Location could be cleaner. read more

If you can get this place to open their doors the food/drinks are good. I work at the nearby hospital and I love their breakfast wrap. On multiple occasions I have tried to visit this establishment for breakfast only to find the doors locked at 7:15. The employees are inside and don't even look up when you try to open the door. The website states they open at 7:00. I have also been here multiple times and they say the wrap wasn't thawed overnight, so it is not available to me. You are competing with Starbucks that is literally 5 doors down which leaves me no choice but to take my business elsewhere. read more

I walked inside Jamba Juice - Barbara Jordan. In the rear area of the establishment, one employee was cleaning, while the other two were sitting on the counters opposite of each other with heads buried in their cell phones. Counters designed to hold food .. not buttocks and feet. I walked inside, both employees continued to sit on the counters and look at their phones. One would assume they would jump off the counters and prepare themselves to serve the customer. I had tell them I was ready to place my order to mobile them. No 'hello' 'how are you' 'how may I help you' nor 'thank you'. I placed my order, quickly received my tasty Peach Perfection smoothie and left. I'm sure the bottom of their pants harbor several strand of bacteria from wherever there buttocks have been. Also, who has enough uniforms to wear a clean one every day without constantly going to the laundry room. read more

In the midst of the hurricane we were traveling down south to San Marcos to help out my parents with their home. We stopped here on our way down from north Austin. It was pouring rain when we got there and there were signs on both doors that said they'll be closing early at 5. It was 3pm so I rushed to get in. The first door was locked and I tugged at it hoping it was stuck but it was locked. The guy and girl working inside just stared at me and didn't even point me to the other day. They just blatantly stared at me while I struggled outside in the rain. I ran to the other door and got in. Once inside I wasn't greeted I was just once again stared at. I ordered my smoothie with a protein add in. She once again was zero percent helpful and was rude. I didn't take a receipt if not I would be able to identify her easier. I got my smoothie less than 15 seconds after ordering which is very strange from previous visits. We left and ran back to the car and the smoothie was all wrong. It tasted disgusting. I get this drink every time and it didn't even look right. I am so appalled and disappointed in how I was treated. In my college years I worked at Starbucks and I knew how much it meant to be helpful and understanding of customers. Trust me- we didn't want to be out in the rain but we were going to help my parents. I'm really saddened on how annoyed, inconsiderate, and rude these two employees were. If they don't want to be there then they can leave. I don't want to pay money to be treated so rudely and for them to be such a poor representation of Jamba Juice. I will not be going back to this location again. I hope they treat others much better than they treated me during this hard time. read more

I was just at this location tonight (4/3 @ 615pm). I come here usually about once a week before work and have never had an issue before today. When I went in to the store this evening, there were 4 or 5 teenagers standing at the counter speaking to the girls who were working behind the counter. I had to wait about 5 minutes to order (which isn't a big deal). I then was standing waiting for my smoothie and the teenagers were handling all of the cups that were stacked at the counter, going behind the counter, and the employees who I would assume were their friends just laughed at them. When my smoothies was ready, the employee poured it into a medium cup (I ordered a large) and then gave the rest of my smoothie I had PAID for to one of her friends before I could say anything about it being the wrong size. I then stated I ordered a large and she said, "Oh sorry, this is a large" which it obviously was not. In addition, I get the same smoothie every time I go to jamba juice, and it was not the correct one, but I didn't want to deal with the employees and their friends again. I won't be coming back here. It was nice to see young people working on a weekday, but I was disappointed that they behaved so poorly and allowed their friends to be there and compromise their job. Hopefully, the management is aware of this and counsels them on how to treat paying customers. read more

I enjoyed visiting this location for the first time, the staff was very nice and helped explain some of the new seasonal products. Plus, the store was really neat and clean and next to lots of place I like to shop. I really like how you can make smoothies "lite" and cut out some of the sugar -- will definitely be back! read more
