8 August 2026 | 3PM…read more Came in after a friend gathering at the beach nearby/traveled in from San Diego, feeling a bit fatigued from the sun's heat, entering the space was a sweet release from the weather outside. Nice and spacious with ample seating for big group, big windows to still enjoy the sun while eating. Garreth (Apologies if i butchered spelling!!!) was servicing the front. What a gem he is, it's not often where I see great hospitality to the degree he put down. Fun menu presentation and shared personal favs as well as general customer favs, highlighted lunch specials, and things you could substitute if need be. And me being a yapper, was fun to chat with him! He exemplified fantastic hospitality with everyone that came through the doors, something I noticed while I enjoyed my meal in. You can tell he'a the type of person that if he'a going to do something - it's done well. I hope if he ever comes across this, that he knows I truly enjoyed the energy and care he has. As well as the ambiance he created with a nice selection of music - a food delivery person came in dancing from the music! it was so cute The food was delicious as well. Meat is well seasoned and not over cooked, rice was supple, and hummus was a texture i really enjoyed (I don't favor hummus that feels on the thin side). Not pictures is the tzatziki app I ordered, but i loved pairing it with the meat to add a refreshing element to my meal! Again, appreciate you super much Garreth!!!

It…read morewas a beautiful hot summer evening, the view was amazing, and I came solo because apparently no one wanted to have a steak with me . I was honestly pretty disappointed when I was told I wouldn't be able to wait for an outside table. Then Michael came through. He noticed I was by myself and saw an opportunity to fit me into a spot outside next to the band that apparently nobody else wanted. Since I was solo, he made it happen -- and that small gesture completely made my experience. That's what great hospitality is about. When there's an opportunity to make a customer happy without negatively affecting anyone else, you make it happen. Michael could have easily just left things as they were, but instead he paid attention, found a solution, and turned what started as a disappointing situation into an amazing Friday night. Sitting outside next to the band with the summer weather and the view ended up being exactly the experience I was hoping for. Michael, thank you so much. I genuinely appreciate what you did for me. Maya Fuego, this is most definitely the type of employee you want to keep around. Someone who sees an opportunity to make a guest's night better and actually takes it. Thank you again, Michael.

I will say, I should have read these reviews before hand because I would have changed mine mind. Buuuuut here we are lol For starters, I made reservations that seemed pointless. We got there, and told them about the reservations and they didn't know about them. Luckily for us, the place wasn't packed. We sat on their outside patio and it was a beautiful view of the ocean and Queen Mary. That was 10/10! We were given their menu and to our surprise, it was VERY LIMITED! So that was a bummer. I think at that point, I was ready to go. My fiancé was such a great sport about it though and we decided to stay and make the best of the situation. I will say, service was incredible. Everyone was super nice and that made staying worth it. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer, a caesar salad with chicken and one with salmon, and the steak with potatoes plate. My toddler wanted pancakes and our waitress was so accommodating and went to ask the cafe if they could make him some before closing. Thankfully they were able to and my toddler got his pancakes. The food was good, but nothing amazing. We were left underwhelmed and for such a perfect location, I wish they had more options. They did gift my fiancé a dessert for his bday. Churros and ice cream...soooo good! The place itself is stunning. It's such a fun vibe and I'd come back with my fiancé to have drinks and enjoy the view only.
