    Two-entree plate

My son and I have been wanting to try out this new spot, and so glad we finally did! We ordered a two-entree bowl and a one-entree bowl, with rice and cabbage. We stopped by around 3 PM, but for future visits will come by earlier (plantains and patties were sold out for the day). Everything was delicious and flavorful -- we'd definitely order it all again! Our visit was takeout, but they have (limited) seating available in their brightly lit dining area. The owner was kind and welcoming, and we look forward to returning to try their patties! 10/10 highly recommend!

We have been looking for a good Jamaican restaurant for a long time. We saw this one had a high rating so made the drive towards downtown, hoping that it won't disappoint. And to our pleasant surprise, it was an amazing experience! The food was sooooo tasty - oxtails, goat curry, chicken curry, rice and peas, cabbage, ALL of it was delicious a former nurse who has magical fingers to cook the food she does, runs her restaurant with her young son out of this small space, but very very clean and hygienic. She was so generous with her portions and very helpful to choose what we should get. There was a little display case with some tasty looking pastries and cakes. I highly recommend visiting this little gem

The taste was too over seasoned, The pork was too spicy and I love spicy food but this is just overwhelming. The curry goat was too salty.

Lots of real candles, burlesque pictures, and flowers made the mood cozy and sexy. The staff were wonderful. To drink, I got the lickin love with Cabernet (milk chocolate on the rim with a white chocolate drizzle). It was so fun and delicious. For my dessert, I ordered the fever, which consisted of a chocolate molten cake, two scoops of vanilla ice cream, and a chocolate decoration. It was so delicious and decadent. My girlfriends loved the carrot cake and the fourgasm (4 dessert sampler). Everything was a bit expensive, but you're paying for the expensive. My one minor complaint was that we had not been there an excessive amount of time, but as we were checking out, we were informed we needed to leave because they needed our table in 5 minutes. I did not care for that. Overall, this was a really fun experience and I'm sad we had to say goodbye.

This has become a regular weekend stop for me and my fam. Especially now that my son has discovered his love for ice cream as well. They're still serving up some of the best ice cream in Orlando with unique Filipino inspired flavors. Now, they also have specialty pastries and desserts. Most recently, we tried their ube cruffin and ube crookie and they were so good -- especially the cruffin. We also just tried their seasonal sweet corn specials this month and OMG... I'm still dreaming about sweet corn sundae. Layers of vanilla soft serve, Biscoff crumble, condensed milk, and toasted sweet corn, topped with honey toast and corn whipped cream. All the flavors mesh perfectly together. It's legit my new favorite dessert, and I wish it was not going away at the end of the month. But I'm sure I'll love their next seasonal special as well because they DO NOT MISS!

Either way, visiting this location really is the hack that you think it is. Since it is in the East End Market, you can simply waltz in with little to no line and order your delicious Gideon's treats. It is important to note that unfortunately they don't offer the cold brew here, however, as they don't have the facilities to make it like they do at Disney Springs. But, the cookies are just as delicious and they do always sell their limited edition cookies here in addition to their classics. It is also worth shopping around the market as well since there are many indulgences here ranging from sushi to cocktails to fun trinkets. It is best to visit at an off time though as parking can be a challenge.

I didn't realize that before ordering, so that definitely explains part of why this wasn't for me. Red velvet is usually my birthday cake, so I've tried it from quite a few places over the years. I personally prefer a softer, fluffy cake with a noticeable cocoa flavor and a tangy cream cheese frosting. Gideon's version was very different from that. The color was much more intensely red than I personally like, and I felt like I could taste the coloring. The texture of my slice also felt more wet/dense than moist and fluffy. There was plenty of frosting, but the cream cheese flavor was much more subtle than I prefer. I know this cake has a lot of fans, so I think this really comes down to style and personal preference. If you prefer a more traditional cocoa-forward red velvet with tangy cream cheese frosting, just know that this one is quite different. This second time was a much better experience! Walking in, we were greeted by a worker there. There are tablets that take your order when you walk in. It's pretty self explanatory for ordering. I noticed the prices had gone down since the last time I went there and they were about $8 and some change per cone which I felt was fair. We waited a few minutes and our cones were ready. There were two tables inside but seating outside too, which we decided to hang. The cone is a donut like pastry that had Nutella on the inside. The cone was filled and then a lot more overflowing. Now the caramel was dripping down making such a mess but I didn't mind it, it added to the experience of such an elaborate desert. Make sure you have plenty of napkins on hand! I'm glad we sat outside because my cone was just dripping all over the place. I was trying to keep up with eating it so it wouldn't be so messy. I think it was a me problem because my friend that I was with wasn't nearly as messy as mine! There were trash cans outside so I can to go back inside to throw out the napkins and my cup. The lady who worked there thanked us again for coming in and said bye Overall a great experience. Again, I think it was a me problem with being so messy eating it so I won't take away a star for that!

We ordered A2- which is a mango ice cream, coconut, with fresh pomelo and mango on top. It was delicious and I would definitely order it again. We had just had lunch about an hour before and this was a delightful and refreshing treat. The restaurant is bright and open but a closer look revealed it needed some deep cleaning. The seat I was sitting in had visible dirt on it and there was some dark long hairs on the seat. I'm not grossed out by that type of thing because if you know anyone with long hair, it just falls out. No big deal but I certainly didn't expect to see it on the seat I was sitting in. The tables and bases all need a thorough cleaning as well as other areas I noticed during our visit. I'd understand this a little more if I saw they were super busy and only had one person working, however, we were the only customers, except for two to-go orders and the one employee was sitting down on his phone when he wasn't helping a customer. As someone who has been in the restaurant industry for over 35 yrs, I am well aware of the things needed to keep a restaurant successful. Attention to detail is one of the key factors and unfortunately Mango Mango is lacking in this area. I hope they can see this review and possibly take a closer look at the cleanliness because the food is on point. Next time I'm in the area hopefully I'll see. If not, I might need to find another place to visit.

Seriously, you can save all your other options for a rainy day. This is the place for any occasion, date, family gathering, or plain ol' get together with friends to enjoy sweets with great company. Located off South Apopka Vineland Road on the Northbound side, Mango Mango is situated in a relatively new development and plaza (if you look at the satelite imagery from Google maps, it will still show undeveloped land as of June 2026). It's less than a 10 minute drive from the Disney Springs property, and about an 18 minute drive from Old Town/Fun Spot which is where we were staying for this particular trip coming from Tampa. As you arrive, you will find a spacious lot, however the actual parking spaces do appear limited (something to consider if you decide to have a large reunion here). Upon entering, you will find a very clean storefront and reception. Overall the store maintains a very neat and tidy appearance that is very welcoming and neutral when it comes to the varying demographics of customers. While we have been to Mango Mango before in a New Jersey location, this location provides a bit of table service (which we have not experienced prior) for dine-in which makes it a bit more intimate. The menu offers plentiful choices of sweets - from bowls with fresh fruits and ice cream, to your specialty drinks including boba. To call Mango Mango a boba shop would do it injustice, as this place truly shines as a hollistic dessert spot. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the selections. Each dish/drink is perfectly made to their own specifications. The best part is that none are overly sweet, which I feel is a crutch that most dessert spots experience. Highly recommend the mixed fresh fruit with sago and jelly! Wish this was in Tampa because this would give our usual boba spot a run for their money. This is a must have if you're in the area, so treat yourself after long hot day at the parks at Mango Mango!
