We learned about endangered species as well as all of the things that may affect them including all of the pollution that we provide as humans. We talked about different types of trash that range from paper all the way to clothing and how long it would actually take to decompose. They were to arrange them in order of decomposition. The group that had the correct order won a prize. they also brought an old t-shirts to make bags out of. The bags were used to walk along the beach and collect trash. the kids also learned about different types of turtles and how this organization was trying to do their best to keep them from going endangered even more than they already are. I believe it was a good learning experience for them.

So when we headed this morning, we were ecstatic to get there. To our misfortune, the lady at the front was a a total disappointment. My significant other starts to ask more questions and she just seems very uninterested, annoyed, and was even texting, and looking down the entire time. They were able to provide some of what we needed. We headed to the lumber department and those folks in the back were a little easier to talk to. They were very helpful and pleasant. We ended up buying multiple pieces for different rooms in our house and can't wait to share photos once everything is put together and the special touches from this shop are in place. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the staff. They were attentive without being pushy--always nearby when we had questions, incredibly friendly, and genuinely helpful. It made browsing enjoyable and stress-free. I also found the pricing to be very fair. I don't frequent antique stores, but I did look up one of the items I purchased on eBay out of curiosity and found that I paid about $30 less here--and without any shipping charges. That made me appreciate the value even more. Whether you're looking for a unique accent piece to complement an already decorated home or searching for larger architectural items like flooring, doors, tubs, and more, I highly recommend stopping by. There's something special around every corner, and we'll definitely be back!
