Lucy has tailored everything from jeans to blouses for me. Most recently, she did a WONDERFUL job…read morewith my lace and beaded mermaid style wedding dress. She was completely professional and clearly very knowledgeable, with decades of experience. She took in my torso/bust seams from the sides and did not over-complicate the bustle (3 points was perfect for my train). Unlike some wedding dress seamstresses, Lucy did not tack on any unnecessary charges or work. She was very fair in her pricing ($210 for 3 point bustle, taking in torso and shoulder seams of lace dress with beading). From beginning to end, my wedding dress alterations took 3 weeks, which included an initial and then second fitting. Stay away from the fake seamstresses trying to make a buck off of you (asking a few too many questions that are not about your dress at all...? Not a good sign.). BOTTOM LINE: Lucy is trustworthy and does quality work.

I've been coming to Lucy's shop since I was a little girl, everyone will always recommend you to…read moreher because she really is the BEST! I got a dress tightened around armpits and waste that I was convinced nobody would be able to fix, being that it's an extra large ( im a s ) and you have to align the pattern, I also got pants hemmed by the feet and WOW. it costed me UNDER 50 bucks. For two pieces of clothing!!!! That's absolutely amazing. The prices here are so incredibly fair for the quality of her work. Always leave a good tip! She is incredibly fast and will work on your schedule if needed too. Here's a photo of the dress she altered!

Anna went above and beyond to alter several dresses for my wedding in a very short timeframe. The…read morestaff was also incredibly nice, accommodating, and flexible in helping us schedule all the appointments. Masks were worn at all times to adhere to state-mandated guidelines and we felt comfortable and safe. Our original wedding date was January 2021, however, as the pandemic worsened, we decided to move our wedding up to October 2020 in order to have a safer and smaller event outside. With only three weeks to spare, Anna was able to alter my wedding gown, a junior bridesmaid dress, a flower girl dress, a mother of the bride dress, and grandmother of the bride dress. Each dress came out beautifully and fit amazing! I was especially nervous about my wedding gown, which had a unique neckline that did not fit me well based on the size I needed to order for my hips. Anna assured me throughout every fitting it was going to be perfect and she was completely right. The dress fit like a glove and was better than I remembered it on the day I bought it. I truly can't thank her enough for making myself and the ladies in my family look so beautiful in our dresses.

I had a good experience at Anna's alterations to have my wedding dress fitted. I had a total of…read morethree fittings and had my dress taken in at the waist by about 2 inches and had it hemmed about 4-5 inches. My dress was entirely beaded so it definitely needed a gentle and skilled hand which Anna's alterations has! In total it ran me about $280 - I am unsure how this compares to other places but I wasn't going to risk mistakes for such an important dress. You can see the beading on the dress as well as the finished back where they took it in. Seamless.

I paid hundreds of dollars to get four pairs of jeans, a dress and a skirt altered. I initially had…read morea very positive experience trying on the clothes and getting them pinned in the shop and was confident I'd be happy with the end product. I asked a friend to pick up the items almost a month after the initial completion date I was given and they were told my items were not ready yet. They were then asked to return in 30 minutes. My items were able to be picked up later that day, but when I tried them on and inspected them they fit terribly and the sewing seemed very rushed and messy. The alterations did not align with the initial ones we agree on despite the ample time given. I would not recommend this business.
