Came here a little after they opened up, there were two other parties already inside. There was one person service the drinks, I don't remember her name but she was super friendly. I wasn't sure what I wanted so she asked me a few questions about what I normally like and made a suggestion. Being able to still come out during COVID and feel safe is rare, but Irie and Sam make it comfortable and easy! I came here for my 37th birthday and it was a horrible experience from the time we walked in. Despite COVID they had an outside seating which was amazing but when we got there they had 3 tables set up outside which were not 6ft apart. They were questioned due to their only being the middle table available and on one side there were two kids who if I turned around they would be right in my face!! The lady seating us basically said it is what it is and the tables are bolted down so I'm not sure what you want me to do. The manager came out who was also a lady basically had the same attitude. We drove over 200 miles to come wine tasting and Jams Cellar was on our list because we heard such great things about them but apparently their customer service was not up to par for me. I am an avid wine taster and wine club member and this service was absolutely not what I am a accustomed to. The manager was very dismissive and I felt as though they did not care about the mandate of their tables outside. I would only buy their wine in a grocery store. It's unfortunate that I could not have the winery tasting room experience. read more

They wouldn't take our Groupon past 8 o'clock (I didn't see that in the fine print) and it didn't seem like a good deal either...honestly, only go here if the vineyards are closed. Wonderful experience here on Saturday 3/24/18 celebrating a gfs bday. Got there just before 11AM and we were the only ones in there. Beautiful space with great music, love the atmosphere! Also great service from the woman who helped us(wish I could remember her name). Best of all, the wine was great! I never really write reviews unless I feel like it's important for other people to know and unfortunately this is one of those places I'd caution anyone from going to! Literally the worst tasting experience I've ever had. For the following reasons: - no water was given until asked to cleanse the palate between the tastings - same wine glasses used between a Chardonnay, a rose, and a Cabernet Sauvignon. I think this might be prototypical in Napa (where it isn't in NY) as we went to 1 other place that did the same but their customer service and wines saved the experience - Customer service was HORRIBLE, even some May say offensive. First off, she didn't know what she was introducing or talking about. But mainly when we asked to see if we could buy 1-2 bottles she responded with " you can't get a free tasting unless you buy 6 bottles." Nobody had asked for a free tasting, a happy hour, a promotion or a cheaper option AT ALL for 2 hours. We just wanted to buy the bottles we enjoyed from the tasting for our room that evening (both of which we, without hesitation, went for the full portfolio tasting and the more expensive bottles for purchase so there was no reason to insinuate we were trying to get a free ride). Yikes. I've been to a lot of tastings across the globe and this by far stood out not only as the poorest choice but as also the most offensive experience. There's many other options in the area, go for any BUT them if you're limited for time. read more

The wine tasting was great, especially the Napa Cabernet, do not miss it. Also the toast sparkling wine is very nice. Skip the sugar wine, too sweet for us. The wine tasting room is next to the Andaz hotel with a very laid back vibe. Our hostess Irie was great, very personable and knowledge. This a really cool eclectic tasting room. It is not your typical tasting room, which is what caught my attention. I really like the decor and the seating chairs. They are also open much later than most tasting rooms in the area, which is also a definite plus. The food was very good. We ordered the Greek Dip Trip and olives. We visited in the afternoon, and unfortunately did not have a chance to enjoy the live band, which I believe should be cool. The service was not very good. We had a guy who took care of us and he seemed to be very disinterested in the whole process. There was also another lady who was working but she just talked to her friend who was sitting at the counter with her. Both seemed the staff seemed as if they weren't happy with their jobs - not a smile or an attempt to be friendly. Also, I think the wine was ok. Unfortunately, not for my palette or my husband's. I do believe the wines have really cool names and the venue is even cooler, I only wish that I liked the wines. We ordered full flights, but it just wasn't to our liking unfortunately. read more

This is the anti-posh wine tasting place to go. As classy and upscale as it feels, it's got a cool rock and roll feel and very relaxed atmosphere. This is the place you should come with the guys if you're normally the type to grab flights of beer but want to try some awesome wine. The finger foods come from the restaurant next door and it's awesome. Overall I'd say this is a place I'd come to every time I visit Napa, and I wish they had locations all over. I'll be looking for their butter Chardonnay any time I'm at a grocery or liquor store. Best place we visited on our wine tour! read more
