Her philosophy is basically "the customer deserves to be the only one who is being serviced at that time and therefore, the results will be amazing!" How many times have you sat in a shop and couldn't truly relax because you were n a queue - waiting for your turn - with other clients. You were hoping not to get left in the shuffle or overlooked and left languishing under a dryer. That's not ever going to be the case with Ms. Tiffany. She schedules so that you and only YOU are in her salon. Yes. That's right - she doesn't book people on top of people!!!! You will have her all to yourself. How awesome is that? She us not worrying about how many people she can squeeze into her day, but rather her utmost concern is how much attention can she squeeze into the client in her chair at that appointed time. Check her out. You will not be disappointed. Not only is she kind, thorough, considerate, and funny...but she's very skilled in what she does. She's a talented stylist and can get you done with a quickness because she respects your time. I am a satisfied client.

A lot of yal don't go to No Curl Denied and it shows.... you hate to see it. Hahaha, okay…read moreseriously, all jokes aside - go see Nica now! She's amazinggggg. Let me tell you why I adore her so: * TIMELINESS- If there is one thing I'm stickler for, it's respecting my time. We've all had the experience before where you make an appointment for 3 and you don't get seen until 3:30 and then you're left with your head dangling in the shampoo bowl for another 45 minutes, because the stylist insists on overbooking. I've been going to No Curl Denied for over 2 years and she has NEVER been late or overbooked. If your appointment is at 1, you are in the chair at 1 (and actually before). * PERFECTIONIST - I must admit, Nica is a little OCD. She is going to make sure every single strand of hair on your head is laying perfectly before she lets you leave her chair. You will never have to stare at yourself in the salon mirror and then go "well could you bump it here, fix this, do that...", NEVER. She takes pride in her craft and holds herself to a standard of excellence which leads me to.... *PROFESSIONALISM - Nica is an all-around expert in her craft. She makes sure to educate you about your hair, help you achieve healthy hair goals, and just make you flourish all around. As such, Nica places great emphasis in continuing hair education and it seems like every month she's taking additional classes to learn about new hair techniques, styles, etc. She sends out monthly emails to all of her clients keeping you updated with all of the developments which I really look forward to reading each time. I would continue singing her praises, but honestly, this review is getting long and No Curl Denied is something you must experience. Do yourself a favor & go visit her. I pinky promise you'll be glad you did!

A stylist with consecutive Saturday appointments available a few days prior to needing an appointment is usually a red flag (9 years in the same city and she's still not booked & busy). Her price was also much lower, but I now know it's because of the lack of quality. Unfortunately, I ignored this information because the talented Mo G was unavailable at the time. I received knockoff "Passion Twist" and immediately knew the quality was poor. Just take a look at my photos and the inch of braided hair at the root before the twists even start! Also, don't bother voicing your opinion to her because she can't handle criticism when you think her work is anything less than "cute". I was getting stares from people out in public for all the wrong reasons after my appointment. Her response was to "give it a few more days" for me to adjust to the style. Poor quality hair doesn't magically change overnight. There's a difference between needing time to adjust to a style versus the work just being BAD. Similar to other reviews, I would NOT recommend Najja K for passion twists. She admitted to only doing the style once and clearly needs more practice or to stop altogether. PSA save your $ and time by finding a different stylist. Najja K isn't professional and tried to berate me for speaking up and saying something about my hair. A good stylist can put their ego aside and not resort to personal insults when a client voices concerns. But then again her poor work says it all. I recommend Styles By Jessica @ MariMarshe Salon.

Jenae is a genius with a flat iron and a blowdryer and I get so many compliments on my hair when I go in to see her. From classic bobs and lobs to my currently long hair, she knows how to keep my hair healthy with deep conditioning treatments and trims and has really taken the time to get to know my hair and what makes it look its best. She's definitely stayed current on the best treatments for my hair and her craft of stylish 'dos. Visiting her studio is great because it's a private room within a salon complex that she keeps nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Her prices are very reasonable and parking is easy in the lot which makes for completely stress-free appointments. Other hairstylists need not apply because Jenae is MY hairstylist!
