After my first visit, I was honestly shocked to see that there were any negative reviews about her.Ms. Teague is incredibly educated, talented, knowledgeable, and passionate about healthy hair. Within the first ten minutes of my appointment, she was able to tell me so much about my hair just by running her fingers through it. Since becoming her client, my hair has grown, become healthier, and I genuinely look forward to every appointment. Not only do I leave each visit with beautiful hair and a better understanding of how to care for it, but I also walk away with so much knowledge about life. Our conversations are always meaningful, and she creates an experience that goes far beyond just getting your hair done. Ms. Teague is MAGIC, and I am so grateful that I found her!

I tried several other salons in Pleasanton before I found Kelly. Unlike the other places, Kelly…read morecarefully listened to me, looked at the inspiration photos (of various long bobs) that I brought, and we talked about how my very thin, fine hair would do with each of the possible styles. She was the only person who actually listened to me, and the only person who seemed to understand that you can't do a lot of layering with very thin hair. After she cut my hair and blew it dry, she asked me to take a look, and then offered to take a little more off the back. I could see that her next client had arrived, but she took an extra few minutes on me to make the cut perfect. I really appreciate her attention to detail. And I could see that the next client didn't mind waiting 5 minutes: probably because she knew that Kelly was going to make her hair look perfect too. The cut was $45, which I think is quite reasonable. For me, the true test of any haircut is how it looks after a shower, when I've had the chance to style it myself. This cut looked great, even after my novice blow-drying. I will be back.

I have been meaning to come in to see Lisa Milsner for the longest time, but due to my hectic…read moreschedule I could not make it on the days she was working. I was lucky and got her on a Monday. She is so detail oriented and takes into consideration how damaged your hair is based on your last treatment. I had gone blonde from my previous salon in Fremont because I really wanted to be blonde. Lisa educated me and told me to go easy on my ends or they will all break off. Instead of bleaching and bleaching my hair she told me should would do a few strands and add a few different colors to give it more dimension and contrast. She created darks brown, blondes and something in the middle to make my hair look like it was well blended. She took her time and sectioned out my highlights carefully. I also liked that she only focused on me when I was there because there is only place for one person in her own and personalized salon, so you get 100% of her full attention. She also does not sit there and try to sell you all kinds of products that you will probably never use. I was not use to that. At most salons while you are in the dryer they work on other clients which is totally understandable, but this is the nice part of her salon you get to talk to her about anything you want without people over hearing your conversation. Really am happy with my hair. Thank you Lisa for not listening to me when I came in and asked for blonde blonde hair that my hair probably could not handle at this time.

I have fine, naturally curly hair, and she has given me everything from a short bob to my current longer, layered cut, so I can confidently say she is not limited to one style of haircut. Fine curly hair can be tricky, and Chellsie has consistently understood how to create shape and movement without making my hair look thin or stringy. I wear my hair naturally quite often, and my cuts work beautifully with my curl pattern as well as when I choose to style or blow it out. She also uses a razor very intentionally, and on my hair it creates softness and beautifully blended layers. I've never felt like my hair was unnecessarily thinned out or that the cut only worked after a salon blowout. What I appreciate most is that Chellsie tailors the cut to the person sitting in her chair. I've trusted her with dramatically different lengths and styles, including a short bob, and have consistently loved the result. If you have fine, naturally curly or wavy hair and want someone who understands texture, shape, and modern cutting techniques, I highly recommend her.
