If you are travelling through Italy and you love the Italian food, but you're just tired of eating it........come here!!! The food was excellent, The service was attentive and prompt ambience is also excellent with authentic Indian music. We ordered Papadums, chicken korma, aloo Gobi, Malai Kafa, chicken tikka tandoori, basmati rice, garlic, and regular naan. make sure you get pickles and all the sauces, we also ordered a Brunello, as Indian food is very heavy and you need a heavy red or a beer to appreciate the taste

I had a quiet dinner by myself outside at Jaipur because sometimes even I need a break from Italian food. I ordered my favorite Indian dish, mattar paneer. They make it not spicy because it's for Italians, I am told, when I was asked how spicy I like it. But first I was brought a plate of several curries and crackers. I also ate cheese naan. The server showed me how to eat fennel seeds to help with digestion at the end of the meal. The service was very good. Classic "may I ?" sort of manner that you see in movies.

Nice Indian joint in rome, trestavere. Food was good (my Indian friend came here literally everyday) Its what you expect from the states if you tried Indian food in America. Not like Italian washed Indian food. Service was good too they were very friendly, which is hard to come by in Europe. Came here whenever i was sick of eating pizza and pasta.

One of the best finds in terms of an Indian restaurant when you are in Rome and want to enjoy your very own Indian cuisine. Me and my colleagues were looking for something Indian as the day was Diwali and we were away from home. Luckily we were able to find Jaipur which was open until 11:30PM and thought to have a diwali dinner. The place is huge when you enter and has a good ambience overall. The staff and the restaurant owners are super friendly. We ordered the tasting menu for two and the spread was huge (check pictures). Everything tasted just perfect with the amazing deserts. Aloo samosa, Palak paneer, dal makhni and Gulabjamun are highly recommended if you are looking for vegetarian. In addition owners were super nice and invited us for a small Diwali Pooja and Prasad. Definitely worth a visit!!

All of this food for just two people!

Food was ok. Staff was great. Taste below average...even for Italian Indian standard. Not sure who wrote previous reviews.

Everything we ordered form the kabobs to the rice to the masala chai was just spot on! The portions are smaller than what we get in the US so def order multiple quantities a for groups larger than 2 ppl. The service was prompt and to the point, and our food came out in a good amount of time. Cute decor inside and plenty of seating for all group sizes. I'd def add to my list when in Rome!

Needed more achar, but it was removed once the appys were done. We ate most of the achar straight out of the dish for want of more spice and flavour. The food here is very middle of the road but will satisfy one's curry cravings. The channa with paneer (ceci curry) was good, the baingan bharta was missing depth and that lovely roasted flavour. The masala lassi was very plain, no real masala. A bit overpriced for what you get in my opinion. Not sure I'd come back, would probably try something else, though this spot looked to be the cleanest of those along this particular street. It was also the only one without leering be-capped creeps hanging outside the front door. Yeesh

We're vegetarian and they have a whole page of vegetarian dishes(you can find a picture of the vegetarian menu in my photos). In fact I enjoyed it so much, could happily marry the cook and it was a highlight of our trip to Rome, that we lucked out and found this restaurant. Apart from the food, both Sukhwinder and Asad were fabulous servers. I want to especially give a shout out to Asad, as he was uber prompt and attentive in anticipating our eating needs. Food wise, I can honestly recommend everything! We tried four different main dishes and each of them had their own distinctive flavor: 1) Mutton curry: the taste of the curry was so good, perfectly spiced and the mutton pieces were rich and flavourdul, making every bite a sheer delight. 2) Palak Paneer: luscious, creamy and earthy. Wonderful taste of the spinach and just the right amount of paneer. Very well balanced flavours 3) Dal Makhani: blissfully melt-in-your-mouth flavors, and tasted of proper ghee! the lentils were perfectly cooked and I couldn't stop going back for another bite, and then another bite, and then just one more bite.. 4) Gobi Aloo: the potato in this dish (le sigh!) so creamy and tart and the cauliflower pieces were just in that perfect state of al dente! Both the Tandoori Roti and the Vegetable biryani was amazing as was the Lassi and the Desserts: 1) Pistachio Kulfi: OMG. Melt in the mouth and creamy - absolutely gives the local gelato a run for its money. 2) Gulab Jamun: warm and perfectly cooked fought that was in just the right amount of sugar syrup! I really couldn't decide which Main course dish or dessert was my fave, it was all just do super delicious! So if you too find yourself in the vicinity of the Colosseum and want a change instead of pasta, heartily recommend coming here to get some Indian food instead!!! Yelp 275/ 2018
