We wanted Indian food while we were in Paris. It started off interesting from the start as we were looked at with the deer in headlights look. We eventually got seated but around the corner we heard much deliberation. Another gentleman came to take our order. There was no warmth in the service and since we did not speak French, it seemed as if they didn't want to be helpful regardless of trying to speak English or Hindi. We asked for one of our dishes to be spicy, the response was "it is". Well, the dish definitely had no spice to it all. Nothing did. It was very disappointing. No one was even available to ask questions or anything. Our naan came with the appetizer so by the time our entree came, it was cold. Not sure what is going on. At the end, another gentleman came to close us out. Not once were we asked if we needed anything else. Not sure if I can recommend this one. Maybe if you want no spice in the food. read more

I'm a regular here and honestly it never gets old! I've tried pretty much everything on the menu and almost nothing is disappointing on it. The lassis are very good and the actual meals are amazing. The staff is very nice and efficient and the restaurant itself is very cute. I would recommend to anyone wanting to eat indian food while in Paris!! Definitely have to try the cheese naan they are AMAZING!! The only reason why i'm not giving 5 stars is because sometimes they tend to slack off on the orders like sometimes my food came out not as good as usual but usually it's amazing so definitely try it! read more

Considering I am from the same area I think my review should possess some value. Unfortunately it was one of the worst food and terrible service I have ever experienced in my life. The food: We have food from the subcontinent all the time. Its actually even cooked at homes everyday. And so we know what a Naan or chicken biryani or butter chicken should be like. For the price they are charging, imagine the worst possible food you can have. Not authentic spices, nor original butter or cheese and neither were they able to find real indian flour for the naan. The cheese naan was actually filled with cream cheese. The portions: The portions were tiny. Very very small quantity of food. Service: You cant get any rude than them. Dirty smelly shirts, terrible smell inside. And no manners in either the Manager or the servers. Took exceptionally long to fill our orders and when we ordered some extra naan, they took 25 minutes. By the time everything was cold. And we received the rudest possible response. Price: For the portion size, taste and overall atmosphere. The price exceptionally high. Its a rip off. Conclusion: I know how some people who don't have the experience of an authentic Indian/Pakistani food could praise this place simply because they had a new experience. But I genuinely suggest anyone who plan to visit this place Dont!!! I will be looking into other Indian/Pakistani places in paris and might do some further recommendations but stay away from this pay. read more

Maybe Im just used to a higher standard, or perhaps it was just an óff night, but I dont think so. From the small black flies that buzzed about all through the meal to the waiter asking me if i wanted change for a 100 on a 70 euro meal without even opening the bill fold, this place sucked. Good food but horrible value and sketchy billing: I ordered an entree for 8€ and the waiter asks me if i want rice or naan which I refuse. He brings the naan anyway and the rice comes in a comunal bowl. Come time for the bill and I am charged 20€! Horrible rip off. read more

Great Indian restaurant: they went above and beyond to make us feel at home with our 1,5y old daughter! The kids menu is still Indian food and a lot! Prices were reasonable. Open on Sunday, which isn't a given in this area! Would definitely come back when we're in Paris! read more

Jaipur is a wonderful place for a great selection of Indian food. We had great service and the lamb curry and dal making with paratha was excellent. This has to be one of my favourite Indian restaurants in Paris. I have always had a good experience with food as well as service here. I would definitely recommend Poulet Punjabi, Poulet Butter and Agneau Shahi along with their Garlic and Kheema nans. The main dishes are good to be shared between two people. They also have a very good lassi(try the Mangue) However, I did not particularly like their deserts (I tried the kulfi and the gulab jamun), but the rest of the food is so nice that you can easily bypass the not so good deserts. Another thing, if you reserve a place in advance and if you go in a group of less than 9 people, you can also avail a discount (sometimes as much as 50%) Which can make a big hearty meal cost much less than 20 euros per person. So all in all, a place definitely worth trying for the fans of Indian cuisine. Cheers Pulkit read more
