Unfortunately, I'd gone on the weekend, which didn't allow for a lunch special: I would definitely recommend going on the weekdays, as my food came out to nearly 30 euros (bread and rice were charged extra), as opposed to 16 euros for the special. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff who immediately asked if we wanted the English or French menu; the choice is appreciated! We ordered lamb korma and chicken tikka masala with an accompaniment of basmati rice, naan and cheese naan. We also ordered a mango lassi and combination lassi (banana, coconut and mango. The lassis were so refreshing! The meal came out quickly and all dishes were scrumptious. The lamb korma was creamy with a subtle zing that was unique . The lamb was deliciously tender and not gamy at all. The chicken tikka masala was great though a little different from we have had in the past; this was the first time we have the dish with green pepper. I normally and thematically loathe green pepper. But the taste really worked with the sauce and the chicken to make it delectable. The naan and cheese naan were very good as was the rice. As we finished up, the owner gave us a scoop of coconut ice cream and a dessert made of semolina, "hawala" (forgive the misspelling and outright incorrect wording). Not only was it a kind gesture but the dessert was very good. My only criticism is that there was no air conditioning and it was warm. I hope they can fix that because that is the only negative for the restaurant. If you want legit Indian food that's a tad off the beaten path, This is your place!! Thank you, Kashmir!!
