Maria Reyes and her team are incredible. I had a review from 9 years ago and felt the need to…read moreupdate it. She genuinely cares about her patients and is patient and understanding. Both she and Dr Goldfarb used to work in the same women's practice as Janet Cudahy. When Janet retired, the two of them moved over to work at rush. Both are incredible internist doctors and wonderful humans.

SUMMARY: If you're looking for a Primary Care Physician in Chicago, you really can't do better than…read moreDr. Reyes. TLDR: Yelp says that 5 stars means, "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" and in this case, I could not agree more. The office itself is great. The staff are nice and seem pretty organized, and I book my appointments online without issue. I am also usually able to get a spot within a reasonable period of time (not 6-8 weeks out like so many Chicago doctors). However, the real reason for the 5th star is Dr. Reyes. Dr. Reyes has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever seen. She actually takes the time to listen to your symptoms, concerns, and history. Dr. Reyes also seems to genuinely care about my health and well-being as much as I do, acting sympathetic toward even seemingly minor complaints. Miraculously, she is able to give this much attention to her patients and STILL her office runs on time. I don't know how she does it--I've never waited more than 5 minutes for an appointment. I first saw Dr. Reyes in January 2014 when she was with the Advocate group. I was disappointed when I called later for another appointment and they told me she was no longer there. The staff had no information on where she was practicing or how to contact. I was forced to try other PCPs, and it was only when I needed a check-up in 2017 that I finally found Dr. Reyes again. I was thrilled and relieved (and clearly, my positive memories of her held up). If there were ever a doctor worth tracking down, it's Maria Reyes!

Not to mention she authentically walks the walk. When I had an insurance mixup and mistakingly visited without any insurance, the office billed me with a fair flat out of pocket rate for the careful time spent with me. As someone passionate about research and health and wellness, she restored my faith in the medical realm and has been a consistent ally along my health and healing journey.

Her office is cozy and calming, without the buzz of a reception desk. Cady, Dr. Lindner's therapy dog frequents the office, she is the sweetest. The one-on-one attention is wonderful and unmatched. From the time I sit down in her office I feel like she is engaged in everything I say and really hears me. She is thoughtful and kind. Dr. Lindner's education shines through when offering suggestions to my various issues. She is very insightful. When I leave her office I feel more educated about myself, and my issue(s). I leave with a plan to go forward. I can not say enough about Dr. Lindner and recommend her to everyone.

I was only seeing her annually prior to this year, but due to some changes in my medical history I have spoken with her more frequently this year and she could not be more helpful. I appreciate her thoroughness and calm, kind demeanor. I never feel rushed when I have an appointment and most importantly, she listens to what's going on and we have dialogue. She's interested in treating the whole body, not just the symptom. Her after-care communication is great; although the office has an online system that they use for appointments and billing, etc. Dr. Bailey sends your results out by mail and makes herself available if you have any questions. I never feel like my problem is ridiculous or that I'm wrong to call about something. The office is close to bus lines and train lines. Plus, I like the fact that I see all sorts of people in the office coming in, it's a diverse area and that makes me feel more at ease and welcome.

All with huge negligence to rectify their error. We have given them 2 weeks now and still have just told us that we need to give them more time. They charged a wellness preventative check up as an illness visit. Until we were a victim of this Innovative Care's mismanaging of billing charges, I never read other people's reviews of the same instance. They have a few reviews of the same occurrence where their billing personal mismanaged codes resulting in charging people even if they weren't supposed to be. On top of which, they have medical practitioners here ordering labs outside the scope of your visit. I know many people trust my reviews, and my fellow Elite Yelpers/friends. I don't recommend this place, the staff are negligent, unprofessional, long wait time, and you will gamble being charged hundreds of dollars following your legally free preventative checkup. Just don't gamble it. There are many other places that are more responsible than this facility. Don't be fooled by the free juice packs in the fridge.
