I've driven past a few times and today I'm delighted that I stopped to try them out. It's breakfast o'clock and there is table service so take a seat and someone is right with you. They get it right with taking a coffee order right away, do I look like I need one? Well I did need one and lucky for everybody it was made promptly and delivered with a smile. Today I chose the Big Breaky Burger. I find it hard not to give these a try everywhere. I noted on the menu some additional ingredients that you won't typically see. This burger was clearly of a higher class. When it arrived (which was surprisingly quick, I guess they are quiet today, but awesome) the presentation was pretty eye catching. I blurted our something stupid and incomprehensible to the waitress. What I meant to say was "that looks awesome" and "thank you". Let's cut to the juice. The coffee is great, smooth with no bitterness! The bacon is delicious, maybe a light smokey flavour and crisped to perfection. The burger is made on a fluffy brioche bun as it should be. The avocado was generous and had a slight lemon flavour like they cared for it delicately begins the scenes. I love this place after one visit! I'll be back, and I'll bring other people. However, being tucked away down in the back streets means that it can be a little difficult to find. Anyway, seeing it, and doubting that I would be down here again any time soo, I decided to pop in for a coffee. Well, coffee was pretty cool, but I also have to mention that Darth Vader was also standing in the middle of the room. I'm not sure what he was waiting for because he was there when I arrived, and I got my coffee before he got anything, so I'm still a little baffled. However, as a coffee spot it wasn't bad.

Mind you, since I don't have a car I had to walk up to the window, but they cater for that as well, with an outdoor area where you can sit down. Mind you, this isn't really a place for sitting down and rather caters towards the takeaway crowds. Oh, and the coffee was okay, but not hugely wonderful.

Menulog Order Ordered from this restaurant for the first…read moretime last night. Ordered Gnocchi Carbonara and got Gnocchi Gorgonzola which was a)not what I ordered b)tasteless and watery. Ordered a pizza and wrote in the comments I did not want olives. Pizza came with olives. Pizza was very light on with toppings and very ordinary. Lamb risotto was fine. Restaurant did not answer the email comment on menulog which now won't allow me to write a review. Review is now on trip advisor and other places. The meal arrived when it was supposed to but such a shame two of the meals were not what I wanted. Total lack of professionalism not responding to the menulog comment. Would not order from here again. Plenty of better Italian places in the area. It appears the restaurant changed owners recently and is not what older reviews say anymore.
