I've driven past a few times and today I'm delighted that I stopped to try them out. It's breakfast o'clock and there is table service so take a seat and someone is right with you. They get it right with taking a coffee order right away, do I look like I need one? Well I did need one and lucky for everybody it was made promptly and delivered with a smile. Today I chose the Big Breaky Burger. I find it hard not to give these a try everywhere. I noted on the menu some additional ingredients that you won't typically see. This burger was clearly of a higher class. When it arrived (which was surprisingly quick, I guess they are quiet today, but awesome) the presentation was pretty eye catching. I blurted our something stupid and incomprehensible to the waitress. What I meant to say was "that looks awesome" and "thank you". Let's cut to the juice. The coffee is great, smooth with no bitterness! The bacon is delicious, maybe a light smokey flavour and crisped to perfection. The burger is made on a fluffy brioche bun as it should be. The avocado was generous and had a slight lemon flavour like they cared for it delicately begins the scenes. I love this place after one visit! I'll be back, and I'll bring other people. I was nicely greeted on arrival and offered the table of my choice. I ordered a warm chicken salad which seemed a tad pricey at $19. It was probably a rather silly dish to order on a bitterly cold day. When it arrived I raised my eyebrows a bit as I'd never quite seen the likes of it before. It was nothing like the warm chicken salads you get at most places these days. You know, the bed of salad and the grill marked chicken and a few other extras and a nice dressing. This though was very different. For a start, the chicken came with a sauce. And, there were several thickly cut slices of warm sweet potato provided plus avocado, Spanish onion and lettuce as well as surprisingly, slivers of green pickle. It looked very unusual and I had some trepidation about tackling it. I needn't have worried. It was rustic but nonetheless very good. The chicken pieces were generously sized and nicely cooked with ample moistness. The veggies were all lovely and tasty. It all hung together nicely. The dish probably needed a couple more leafy greens but was still very satisfying and I found myself liking it. Against the odds, I found myself liking it here and 3.5 is just the right score in my book.

Customer service is friendly and frequently hilarious. Outdoor tables can be hard to grab on a sunny day, but worth the grab as it's a comfortable gardeny area. Even at peak busy times the service is speedy and efficient. Dogs are welcome to join their humans at the outdoor tables, with water bowls available. I love this place and drop in with any excuse.
