On a semi busy day the staff failed to impress and the lunch menu was pretty disappointing. The place came highly recommended and gets 2 Stars this time as I will give it another shot (it shows potential). We were seated by the friendly host and put on a small table (3 Adults and 1 Infant), and told that he would bring a high chair for us. He walked away, look at the computer for a few minutes (I was watching, holding my son waiting for him to bring a high chair) and then he went and served the next group of people waiting at the door. So I proceeded to look for a high chair myself and bring it to our already small table. The next waitress came over and was surprised we had no menus, we said "No, we don't have" - she replied with "Did you get seated, or did you seat yourself". Easy to understand the confusion, but doesn't make customers feel great.
We ordered a Meatball Piadini which was $12.90, looked like a badly toasted wrap with average quality meat inside and an extra $3 for some green leaves on the side (salad). I got the grilled cheese toasty which cost me $17 and was not much better than a ham and cheese toasty I could make at home. My sister on the other hand got the Lamb Gnochi which tasted as good as it looked. Some 1 out of 3 ain't bad but overall wasn't a great experience.
Hoping they impress on the next visit! read more
