Nice looking place, though the location is slightly unexpected.
Parking is not the easiest, with one side of the street as permit parking only.
Service was friendly but a bit aloof - the waiter couldn't remember who ordered what dish, and one of the orders were taken incorrectly.
The coffee was good, chai latte average.
I got the smashed avocado with harissa which was a very generous amount of the avo, slightly disproportionate to the amount of toast, though it allowed me to share some with my friend who didn't receive her avocado on the side. Flavour profile slightly off, needs a bit of acidity to balance the avo mix.
The mushroom dish with the runny eggy hole brioche looked lovely, as did the homemade baked beans.
The special of the day Nutella hot cake with cookie dough and ice cream (my teeth ached from reading the menu!) was shared between 5 of us - which ended up being the right amount.
