I have a 2022 Jaguar I-Pace. The vehicle only has 14,000 miles on it, but the heater stopped working. I have been to Paul Miller Porsche, and received good service, so I went to their Jaguar dealership to get the heater fixed. The Jaguar dealership is the Land Rover dealership in disguise. There is no Jaguar badging anywhere on the outside of the buildings, so you aren't sure if you are in the right place. After arriving, I was questioned as to whether I even had an appointment, and then it was " we will call you Monday or Tuesday to let you know about repairs", so 4-5 days days to hear from them. Well, I did not hear from them by Tuesday as promised, and had to text them to find out that " we only have 2 techs for electric vehicles, and customer service books appointments there shop can't handle", aka, they overbook. Maybe you could have told me any of this when I actually dropped off the car ? So, days go by and after TWO WEEKS, the tech finally looks at it and decides it needs a new heater (exactly what I told them when I dropped it off). Btw, I didn't get a loaner during all this because they never told me the incredible length of time it would take to repair my car, in fact there was no communication with me at all unless I text them constantly to get answers. I called for a loaner after realizing I needed one, and they just blew me off. So after FOUR WEEKS and lots of chasing them around, the car had two days of actual repair in the month in the shop. The worst customer service I've ever had (and they had the ability to text me at any time during this), a complete lack of empathy for the customer, with excuses, and long unnecessary delays. And if you overbook and don't have enough technicians, how is that the customer's problem ? No one cares there, even when threatened basically, and I could have dropped the car off for two days of repairs at any time without it sitting there for a month. And to top off this classy experience, when I got into my $80,000 car and turned it on, it blast Hispanic music in my ear. Real classy and comforting to know your expensive automobile, that you entrusted to these people is being used as boom box for incompetent fools. Also, when I used the heater today, I can hear it running when outside the car, never could before. Sad and disappointing end to a good relationship. read more
