I recently stopped by for a routine oil change and cabin filter replacement. As always, they went above and beyond my expectations -- not only providing the full servicing I needed but also cleaning the interior and exterior of my car; that and they also offered complimentary coffee and snacks in the waiting area. Everyone I spoke with was kind and helpful. A special shoutout to Sharyn, who immediately made sure I was taken care of and even remembered me from a previous appointment -- that personal touch really stood out. It's incredibly comforting to be able to trust the people working on your car. While Fields is a bit pricier than other options, the experience is absolutely worth it. A special thanks as well to Max, Adam, and Anthony -- together, they make the entire process seamless and comfortable. Excellent customer service, start to finish. Highly recommend! read more

Making the car buying experience not only tolerable but preferred. I've unfortunately had too many long and difficult car buying experiences, making it a dreadful experience, but today my wife and I had a fantastic experience at Fields. Very direct communication both with the sales person and general manager to get to direct and clear expectations and negotiations and executing my purchase and trade in record time. Thanks Brian, Scott and Jared. read more

I scheduled service for my Jaguar F-Pace to replace the window control panel, do an oil change, and replace the brake pads. Upon arrival I also explained that I wanted options for fixing a paint blemish on the front bumper. When I made my service appointment I requested a loaner if possible but understood it might just be a shuttle ride. Upon arrival they acknowledged my requests and told me no loaner was available, which I understood. They did not however ask me when I would need to be picked up by or suggest an eta for repairs. Roughly 8 hours later just shortly before service closed I received a voicemail from service asking to touch base on my car. When I finished a work meeting roughly 45 minutes later I attempted to return the call but the phone only rang indefinitely with no voicemail. It was at that point that I realized service was closed even though the dealer was still open, that no one could talk about my car, and I also didn't have a return shuttle ride. I did not realize I had a deadline of 6pm and no one ever said the time or asked about the return shuttle. I ended up taking an uber home. Right away the next morning I called service, explained that I needed to touch base on my car to find out the info I didn't get the prior day. I was promptly told my vehicle was ready to be picked up. I took another uber to the dealership as no shuttle was offered this time. Upon arrival I learned that only the oil change had been completed across the 8 hours they had the vehicle the prior day. The brakes had not been done as requested- guessing they wanted permission, which I would have given. I additionally learned the window had not been addressed and a follow up appointment would be needed when the part arrived. No eta was provided and no subsequent appointment was suggested. I also found that the paint issue had been ignored and my service report did not mention it at all. I had basically just paid for another uber to pickup a vehicle they said was ready, even though the work had not been completed as planned. All of this happened even though I called asking for the status and to touch base. It would have been helpful to have been asked about the brakes when I called so that service could have happened as I requested, it would have been nice if they hadn't ignored my question about the paint options, and further providing me with an eta for the window control would have also been nice. After getting to my car now extremely annoyed I also realized that the service department doesn't provide a car wash with service- even though my prior vehicle (a Toyota) always came with one when a service was purchased. I guess my expectations should have been lower. At this point, I have my Jaguar- 3 of the 4 services were not completed and I have no eta on the window control part. I regret my visit to this location, I regret having not asked about my options for a ride home the prior day when the 8 hour long oil change happened, and I regret having believed purchasing a higher end vehicle meant a higher end service experience. I have booked the brake pad replacement at another establishment and I guess I will just wait until I hear from the dealer about the part arrival. I assume the paint issue is also mine to solve elsewhere. I am angry, frustrated, and just plain disappointed. Avoid taking your car here at all costs. read more

Took forever to check my car in for an oil change and then left it for the whole day and when I went to pick it up it took forever to find someone to help me and then my husband (who drove me to get the car) and I waited another 25 minutes before someone came and asked me a bunch of questions like what kind of Jag was it? , when did I bring it in? Again more waiting, so my husband and I made ourselves ice cream cones (the only thing I liked about this dealership) and looked at the latest cars. A salesman (the only person to approach us) asked if we were looking and we told him we weren't buying today and were trying to pick up the car we brought in for an oil change had at this point been at the shop 45 minutes and could he help us. Hour later and they found my car and we were finally able to leave. A few months after this visit my husband was looking to buy himself a new vehicle. His top choices were a Land Rover (Fields is the local dealer), Jaguar, Mercedes, Lincoln. He eliminated the LR and Jag because of our experiences at Fields and went with the Mercedes because we have had exceptional servicing of other vehicles at the local Mercedes dealership (Zimbrick). Customer service matters and Fields gets an F. read more

I would never purchase a vehicle from here ever again. There are several other dealers a short drive away I would use such as Land Rover Waukesha. On the trade in value they low balled me by several thousand dollars compared to the Kelly Blue Book after I waited several months for my SUV to arrive. They would not even budge on price and if I decoded to walk away I'd loose my deposit. After purchasing the vehicle I stopped in about a small paint repair and the sales guy I purchased the vehicle from didn't even acknowledged I existed. I purchased the vehicle protection package to find out later it does not cover paint, only minor dents and windshield. Absolute waste of money. After several attempts I finally got a response after contacting the General Manager to be told its not covered. The package is a rip off. I looked into it closer and my insurance company covers everything in the protection package they sold me. Don't get your winows tinted when you purchase your car. For something that costs $100 for both front windows on my previous vehicle they charged $1579 for the same job. This company is happy to take your money for what ever they cal sell you but once they're done they they don't give a crap about their customers. The only good thing they provide is a free car wash if you stop by and you can go bowling. read more

I bought my Jaguar here in 2012 and I continue to go back for service, whether it be an oil change or other repairs. I've had nothing but great experiences and customer service. You're constantly given updates on the status of your vehicle while you're waiting, and that's something I learned is pretty hard to come by with other service departments. The staff is very friendly and they take the time to explain the repairs and cost, cutting out a lot of the stuff that you deal with at other repair shops. I actually live near Milwaukee, but I'll often drive my car an hour back to Madison just so I can take it here. They appreciate repeat customers and go out of their way to make sure you leave satisfied. One quick story, I took my car to Fields once because I was having an issue with a stuck hood latch and a jammed coolant reservoir cap -- nothing major. They fixed the hood, repaired the cap and sent me on my way free of charge in about 10 minutes. The small things like that keep you coming back. read more

I have a new(er) Jaguar. I recently made my first appointment at Field's to have my headlamps adjusted upward, slightly; they seemed a 'tad off.' When I arrived I was greeted promptly by a woman named Sarah. She informed me that although I had the right time I had missed the appointment by a day (clearly, I'd made a calendaring error). Sarah did not encourage my embarrassment and, instead, offered to see if "we can do the adjustment right now." Long story short, she coordinated a quick fix, told me exactly how much time it would take and promptly pointed out the lounge/waiting area and suggested I make myself comfortable. I went from embarrassment to relief to pleasure in minutes! If that wasn't enough, she went on to ask if I wanted the vehicle washed when the work was complete. I declined at first, telling her, "I don't like brush washing." {see headlight adjustment reference above, by now you're getting the picture...I am particular, and fussy). Sarah was quick to point out that they "only hand wash the vehicles at Fields" and that there would be no charge to me. Ultimately, I drove away in a very clean car and with the issue resolved. My experience at this dealership, and especially with the service department, was great. I will return to Fields for my future servicing needs, there's no question about that. I'd like to say that my review speaks to a single, but very disappointing experience that I personally had. I believe that the many positive reviews received by this dealership are likely every bit as valid as my own review. I very much appreciate that Mike took the time to follow-up with me, and that General Manager Sharon Klietsch has also posted an apology and offered a conversation. These responses have led me to reconsider my original review. There are few things that impress me more than someone willing post their full names and invite a conversation that might be hostile or adversarial, in hopes of reducing animosity and disappointment. Last week I was contacted by Mike who apologized and took some time to explain how circumstances at the dealership led to the unfortunate experience I've described in my previous review. He recalled speaking with me when I first contacted Fields about the Suburban, and he knew I'd spoken with Brandon and that I was interested in purchasing the vehicle. It boils down to timing, with the Suburban being returned from being serviced at a Chevy dealership on Brandon's day off. An interested buyer was there the time and the deal was closed. I explained that while I appreciated his explanation and apology, I still felt like they had dropped the ball, because Brandon had told me that I would be called as soon as the vehicle was available to test drive, Monday or Tuesday, but never a mention that he would be off, and no arrangement made for a colleague to honor that commitment. Mike and the other people at this dealership are very pleasant to speak with, they seem to be sincere, reasonable and well-intended. Mike offered to use their large network of dealerships to help me find a suitable vehicle in place of the one I had missed. I declined because I'd been searching regionally for almost a year with very narrow specifications, and the Suburban they had was one of the very few that met our wishes. That was still a thoughtful gesture, and not one that every dealership would have made. Thank you. read more

Terrible dealership. I went in to test drive a car and first off they only had ONE at the dealership. Great sales tactic!!!!! Hard to sell cars when you don't have any to look at. Asked for a quote to be emailed on lease pricing of a car they did not have there, and waited 2 days until I finally emailed asking for it. After that the quote was outrageously high! Car dealership friends elsewhere laughed when I showed them. I replied it was way high and to work on the numbers. Then after 24 more have still not even received a response. Had someone been responsive and had a clue on pricing and not tried to screw me over right out of the gate, I would have gladly bought one already!!! I have leased for the past 10 years so this is not my first rodeo. Instead I worked with Zimbrick Infinity for a total of 2 days and got a great deal on a car with the same sticker price as I wanted at Jaguar. Grossly disappointed. read more

I have had my fair share of time spent at Field's and I can tell you that the staff is truly polite and kind beings. I'll single out the most recent gentleman for this instance. Brandon Barr has been extremely helpful in my quest for a new vehicle. He patiently helped me weigh pros and cons of trading in my previous vehicle and then took the time to test drive quite a large amount of cars with me before finding me just the right one. I highly recommend Field's in general but Brandon in specific for any future car needs! read more

My S-Type had the heat go out on the driver's side. I took it into Field's Jaguar and Jason was a big help in getting the car repaired. He told what exactly needed to be done, and possible options if that wasn't problem they diagnosed. It was done in a timely fashion and I have heat again, so no cold winter for my, now I can enjoy my Jaguar on the cold winter mornings thanks to Jason and Field's Jaguar. read more
