I've been coming to this salon for many months now based on the recommendation of a coworker, despite the fact that it's about 30 min out of my way. The UV gel manicures are where it's at. (*just make sure you specifically request this service when booking because it takes a special skill & time.) I was having trouble with my regular gel chipping or peeling within a week at other local salons. But not this UV gel -- it lasts forever! I only go in (every 3 weeks or so) because I need a fill. I had been to Jadore nail salon years ago and I really liked my experience. I no longer live in the area and it's hard for me to find a nail salon that I really enjoyed going to. I decided to go back to this nail salon and what started off as a OK experience turned into an hour and a half later of sitting in the chair and getting the wrong service done to my nails. I had come in to receive a powder nail service with a gel design. As time went on I realized that it was taking longer than I expected and asked if I can change what I originally wanted to just a single color on all of my nails. Instead of putting a dip powder onto my nails he put only a gel topcoat on. The woman who I originally checked in with decided to start yelling at me from across the room saying that what I had explained I wanted wasn't something that could be done. I finished getting my nails done and proceeded to pay and the woman was still yelling at me in front of customers I told her nicely I do not wish to have this conversation I would like to just pay and leave. I was not ok with the technician rushing through my gel manicure. The gel manicure chipped after ONE day. Worth the journey! Traveled far from Center Moriches as this place was recommend by my friend (who also went with me AND her nails came out beautiful as well!). I've refrained from acrylics due to prior horror experiences, but this restored my faith entirely. Not once did I flinch in pain or have achey cuticles. The girl was so gentle but precise with her work! The workers even alll stayed without complaints even our appointment went over closing hours. I enjoyed my mani pedi at J'Adore! During my pedicure, I asked my nail tech Lucy if she could avoid my tattoo when using the lotion & scrub. She was very considerate of this and avoided the tattoo the entire time, and even complimented it which was very nice of her. My nails came out cute with a few minor flaws. The polish wasn't fully opaque but I understand they may have been in a rush because I did come in an hour before close. Overall a great experience, very nice staff. I'll likely return! read more

She asked if I wanted my nails cut, and I only wanted them cut a tiny bit. She cut off all of my long natural nails, and then told me if I wanted long nails I had to get a full set, which would be $60! I usually pay $35. Unhappy. Spent a fortune on a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. Mind you they have a "$48.00" special on their menu for this service which they did not honor? Instead I was charged $60.00 which I find insane for the services I received. When I tried to tell the lady she kept breaking the price down to me which I stated I understood the prices individually but why have the special on the board right when you walk in if you're not going to honor it. My pedicure came out horrible, the polish was all over my skin I had to literally clean it up when I got home. My gel manicure came out pretty but then chipped the next day which had me furious since I spent so much on it. Shortly after, my real nail broke because it was filed down way to much. Went for gel powder nails for $35, was convinced to do clear powder with gel polish and UV light....wasn't clear about this at the beginning)...I didn't want UV....I was told this option is better and stronger and that's why I opted for it ...paid $45 for the worst nail job ever.....the nails are thicker than they would be with powder gel for the same two layers of powder applied because they apply two layers of gel polish plus the clear stuff they use. My problem was with the tech I was assigned....she made it pretty clear she didn't want to be there doing what she was doing.....she seemed like she had other places to be, was completely distracted and kept yapping her @$$ off with the other tech.....I was also charged $18 for a regular pedicure and I essentially got no care for under my feet ( I didn't need callus remover but I expected a decent scrubbing at least for the bottom)......would not go here again.....paid $63 for the worst nail service ever.....go spend your money somewhere else, NOT recommended!!!! I'm honestly a little shocked by all the bad reviews as i've had two pretty good experiences here. I first came after purchasing a Groupon for a gel manicure which i highly recommend for the cost. I made an appointment as was seen right away. My one nail did chip in the corner fairly quickly (1-2 days) but the rest held up for a full two weeks. I picked a very light color pink and was happy that Grace did an extra coat without charging. She even gave me a $5 off coupon for the next visit. My second time I also made an appointment and was seen right away. Grace was not there but I still had a pleasant experience with Stephanie. The coupon was honored and I started a reward card. I noticed this from the customer sitting next to me and wish it had been more advertised on my first visit. I explained this and they were kind enough to write both visits on my card. Once you reach 10, you receive a free service. The only thing I wish they would improve is consistency with filing the nails. I don't feel like they're all the same length or shape. Maybe the technicians i've had have less experience but just something i've noticed. Overall, I am really happy with this salon. I do plan to continue to visit and will be trying a pedicure in the future. read more

I found this place through Groupon. The first visit was amazing. I thought that I had found a new nail salon. The second time I went back I brought my 4 year old daughter for a mani and pedi. So I decided that I wouldn't bring my daughter back here especially after she wasn't respected and not to mention they charged me adult price for her mani and pedi. I came back again for a gel mani and Sandy did it she was awesome I said when I come back I only want you to do my nails. So I came back and sandy wasn't there but I needed a gel manicure and regular pedi. Thomas did my nails, what a disaster. He messes up my nails so bad I came back the next day and the owner had a attitude that I wanted it down correctly. Unfortunately I couldn't get it fixed that same day because I had to do something else that I couldn't cancel. After Thomas redid 2 of the nails over not even an hour later the paint started to chip. Today was my first time at this nail salon. I had gotten a Groupon voucher for them for a Mani and pedi for my birthday in June and used it today. After my pedicure and halfway through my manicure, The guy sitting at the reception desk looked at my friend and I and said the Groupon voucher is only good for first time customers and told us we were not first-time customers and that they recognized us. I told him I have never been to the salon before, considering I live 30 minutes away. He kept repeating to me that they recognized us while I repeated iback that I've never been to the salon before. They then clearly got mad at us and rushed the rest of our process. He backed down after realizing I was not letting them tell me otherwise. Not to mention, it nowhere stated this on the Groupon that it was only for first-time customers and if so it should've been stated when I first walked in to the salon and handed them my Groupon, not after I'm practically done with my manicure and pedicure and now forced to pay them. I came in on a day when they were pretty busy so I'm not going to completely judge them based off of that. I had a Groupon so I decided to try out this place but I'm not to sure that I will return to this location. 1 reason being because this salon is a little far from me to begin with. Another main reason is because I felt my mani was rushed. Rachel did my nails and to be honest with you they weren't the best for what I was expecting to get from the owner of the nail salon but besides that factor she didn't even finish my nails completely. She handed me over to Jojo who finished them and didn't even say hi to me which was different. When it came to my pedi it was difficult being able to communicate with Chris because he didn't speak the best english although he seemed to care about my nails more than Rachel did. When I was here there were only four employees working which I hope isn't always the case because they had customers they just didn't have the employees. They refused to honor my Groupon as printed. My sentences were cut off by the worker to whom I was speaking. She insisted it was for new customers. The one I had did not say this. In fact, it could be bought multiple times, which means one would no longer be a new customer! I was not allowed to explain or show the actual print in the deal to convince her she was mistaken. Don't subscribe to Groupon if you don't really want people to use them and are not familiar with the guidelines you've set up, and do not wish to execute those guidelines as they are written. I have always gotten the more expensive services and tipped generously. I was a longtime client. That held no weight at all. I will not be back. This is not how a client should be treated. I called the salon and asked if I could come in to just fix the nail, I was told no problem, I told her on the phone it was dip powder ombré and she said okay see ya soon. So I get here 20 mins later and I'm told to sit and wait for about 30-45 mins (but it was busy so I didn't mind as I didn't have a appt but I did call before coming in to make sure it was okay). So eventually she decides she can take me but then has the nerve to tell me after she looked at the nail the first time I came in (30-45 mins ago) that she cannot fix it and she doesn't have the time to take the whole thing off (the powder on the one nail) and redo it. Great now I'm furious because I just wasted 30-45 mins being told to wait just to be told she can't do it? Then she tried to tell me I didn't tell her it was dip powder.. I responded with yes I did when on the phone with you and she goes oh I'm busy I didn't hear you. Listen I don't mind paying a bit more than normal at other salons because honestly it's kinda expensive here and the prices I feel like change depending on the mood of the owner but I kept coming because I appreciate consistency and knowing my nails are gonna look good when done by Stephanie. I am so picky about my nail salons and I am happy I found J'adore! The salon is clean and the staff is so nice. My powder gel manicures come out nicer than other places I've been to and last longer. I've been coming here for several months but have never written a review. Last week, Rachel did my nails for my wedding day and I could not have been more pleased ! She recommended something out of my comfort zone. Rather than getting a regular french manicure I got a silver hologram tip. It was simple but different. It was pretty cool. Very disappointed! My friend recommended this place to me so I figured I'd give it a try. I got a basic manicure and pedicure. During the pedicure, the man was very rough - to the point of it being painful- while cutting my cuticles and actually made one of my big toes bleed! He didn't even apologize, just went and got that blue liquid that stops the bleeding. My feet were not massaged at all just a 20 second massage on each leg. Again, during the manicure he was rough cutting my cuticles. Perhaps it's just this man who doesn't go a good job but I'm so turned off I will not be giving them another try. Very unhappy read more
