I made an appointment and was immediately taken back and helped. I asked if they had a certain color and they looked for it, but didn't end up having it. They helped me find an equivalent color, and it ended up being so good. Lindsey did my hands and toes and killed it. She was personable and we talked the whole time which was nice. She made sure I liked my nails every step of the way, and would tweak whatever was needed. She took her time and was super detailed oriented. Even the girls sitting next to me kept complimenting my nails. The place was super clean and they even offer complimentary coffee and water. They also have bathrooms. The pricing was pretty typical to other salons.

When I brought it to her attention, instead of acknowledging my concern, she insisted that she hadn't removed too much hair and claimed she had only plucked around my brows. After going back and forth, I decided it wasn't worth arguing anymore. I paid for the service, didn't leave a tip, and left. This isn't my first negative experience with this salon, which is why I felt it was important to leave a review. In my experience, they don't prioritize customer service or consistently provide quality work. What bothered me the most was that my concerns were dismissed instead of being taken seriously. As a customer, I expected accountability and a willingness to make things right. Based on my experiences, I personally wouldn't recommend spending your money here.

Any time I go elsewhere I am disappointed in the speed of the service, the quality of the work, and the durability of my nails, compared to Jessica's work. But if she is not available I have been perfectly happy with Michael, Nancy, or Don...everyone there is well trained and maintains a high standard of workmanship. They have even stayed open late for me once when I dashed in before closing. They take walk-ins, but I prefer to ensure service by making an appointment, even if it is only a half hour in advance. I need very strong nails as I am a muralist who works with metal ladders and levels and gets paint on my hands. I need acrylics with gel because the paint won't stick to them as they do on my natural nails. I also need excellent foot and ankle massage because of an injury. The highly professional techs at LA Nails never complain about the condition of my nails. They always act glad to see me and if I come in and someone else tries to grab my business, Jessica is quick to tell them I'm HER client. It's nice to be fought over! Perhaps the fact that I try to tip fairly generously helps to secure consistent good service; for whatever reason they always act glad to see me. At another salon in Coral Springs, the owner told me she hated her job and her clients and was only working hard now so she'd have enough money to retire. Imagine telling a client that! She also laughed sadistically when she hurt my toe, and called me a baby when I exclaimed, "Ouch!" I know nail work and pedicures are backbreaking work and to do it cheerfully and consistently well has to be hard. I congratulate LA Nails' staff for accomplishing this. The only problems I ever had were: 1. When the manager was out, one tech stayed on the cell phone talking Vietnamese in my face for the entire hour of my service, and I called and complained about it when I made my next appointment. It never happened again. 2. Trang did my fills one time and she does GORGEOUS work but it was too delicate to hold up to the beating I give my hands. My nails broke. When I mentioned this to Don, he encouraged her to make my nails very strong and I never had a problem again. But of course, she is not my usual tech anyway. 3. Once they had a trainee do my pedicure. She did a fine job but it took her nearly 2 hours! I walked in without an appointment 6 mins after they opened and was able to get in a pedicure chair within 10 mins. The store is modest, cute decorations but not glamorous. This is fine by me though. I prefer a good nail technician over an instagrammable spot My nail technician was Chloe, she was very efficient but also did a great job. Many nail salons are quick but they also cut corners. This was not the case here. 30.00 for a basic spa pedicure ( without any lotion upgrades etc). Tools that she used came in an autoclave package and appeared clean. The store itself appeared clean as well. Overall I will be back and I'm thankful trusty yelp found me a new nail spot that delivers.

She suggested I do a dip manicure since I was looking for a manicure with longevity (I'm constantly washing my hands at work and the paint never lasts more than 2-3 days). I gave the dip a try and I'm still on the fence on whether I'll become a convert. The thumbs came out lumpy looking, but otherwise it looked nice (day 2, manicure looks fresh). The place was clean and you could see them running the sterilizer for their tools. Once I arrived, I was greeted promptly. It wasn't too busy so my wait for pedicure wasn't too long at all. Sheila took her time and was very gentle. Salon was very clean and welcoming . Prices were also very reasonable, cheaper than most places in the area so those complaining about the prices are clearly cheap as heck and want services done basically for free lol.. anywho, definitely will be coming back to Lee's . Don't allow the negative reviews to steer you from any place, try them out for yourselves and form your own opinions.
