So, I cannot apparently post a reply to the comment that was posted on my original review in June of 2015, and I think it's important to post my reply publicly, as Jade is NOT the more economical option, as claimed by "Jenn" from Jade.
I don't know how you do the math to end up thinking your company's pricing is the more economical option.
Five months ago, I was almost finished my treatment going to a competitor, missing a month or two in the process. I had to stop due to a lot of life stuff popping up and only currently have a few stray hairs left.
Going to Jade, it would have cost me about $90 for 24 minutes per session (with a tip), once a month. You figure a year to finish the treatment. Well:
$90x12 (one session roughly a month) = $1080
Now, by going to the competition who offers the IDENTICAL service for half the price, for a longer session - as in, I was getting 30 minutes (and sometimes a little longer, without paying extra) for $39 roughly once a month (sometimes five weeks, sometimes only four). AND, a bigger area of my face was getting done every time I was going, which meant I was getting more of my face done than the two times I went to Jade - where I started out with just my chin/neck and my upper lip IF there was time left (which there wasn't really). At the competition, I was getting the chin/neck/upper lip every time but once when I came in about 5-6 weeks after the last treatment.
You figured a year to finish the treatment? Well let's say, I would have been done by December or January, and I started going in April to Jade, but I skipped a month for sure. so April-January is ten months.
10 months at $39 a session ($45 with my tips) -
$390 or $450 to get more area of my face done by the competition, with a longer session (again, they charge $90 for a TWO HOUR session if you wanted it)... which ends up costing well less than HALF the price of Jade.
And, the girl who I had working on my face told me they had more than one person find their way to their offices, complaining about the prices at Jade. So, it's not just me.
But, I love that you try and claim that your company is the more economical option in the long run, charging more than double your competition.
For the same amount I would have paid going to Jade for a year, I could have gotten my entire neck/chin/lip area done, plus a couple of other problem areas I have that I want to get done, plus get started on my legs.
At Jade's pricing, I would have been forced to stop due to the outrageous cost and shorter sessions that also..by the way, left me with stray hairs TWO DAYS after a session. At the other place, it would take two weeks for a hair to show up that I would notice.
So, tell me again, and show me the math to prove it. how your company is the most economical. And also, bear in mind that more customers than just me have found their way to this competitor and complained about your company and it's grossly over-inflated pricing. Your company caters to people who have money to waste and don't look around for the lower price. The lower price which will keep your customers coming back for multiple areas, and recommending the business to many others. I have warned MANY away from Jade, and recommended the competition. And I will keep doing so. And I will keep going back until all my needs are satisfied, and happily pay their rates, with a smile on my face, every time. Plus, they don't try and push expensive products that aren't really necessary on you, as well.
So... you will never convince me that you are more economical. And, the company I go to now, they don't sit and watch TV while they work on your face, while you're on a very limited timed session.
