breakfast burrito, French toast (1/2), eggs and home fries

Very cute breakfast joint near the airport! Service is really quick and the food is cheap but delicious! Almost all the customers were regulars, so if you don't know what to get, order what they order haha Cash only but a top rated breakfast place for sure!

On our last day in Boston, we walked early morning from our Airbnb by the ocean to visit this great hole-in-the-wall breakfast place and were pleasantly surprised. Here is the summary of our visit: Ambiance 5/5: The name outside is rustic and you can easily miss it so you might have to ask someone in case you walk past it but the inside decor and vibe is great and you feel like you are dining with the locals. Service 5/5: As the saying on the wall says, this is the place where locals gather. In our 5 minutes of waiting at the counter, we could see that everyone knew each other and the person at the counter knew them as well. The service was fast and friendly. The patiently listened to our customizations and suggested great alternates. Food 5/5: The breakfast and coffee were both great. We ordered a bunch of items and were not disappointed at all. I don't remember the names of the dishes but both the omelette dish and the coffee was great. Value for Money 5/5: This is where it shines. Even though everything is great and looking at the local crowd, seems to be this way for a long time, it does not burn a hole in your pocket. Everything was reasonably priced and we had a great experience overall. If you are ever around this area and want to visit a place where locals eat and have fun, this is the place to be! PS: the place gets crowded and the parking can be limited across the road

Store Front!

visited on a Saturday morning with my daughter.....upon arrival, the first thing I noticed is the great parking across the street! We pulled in and got a spot right out front! We walked in and it was a busy time. Lots of action...people waiting for food, people picking up and leaving and others eating at the 6 or so tables. Plenty of help behind the counter and clearly, it was a family-type setting. We were immediately helped and ordered our food at the register. After ordering, we paid and sat down to wait. As we were talking, again, we both noticed how much activity there was in and around the front door. Jac's is clearly a hub for the locals to meet, get something great to eat and to say "hello". I had a full order of French toast (see pic), which was 5 star! Too much for me to finish...that does not happen to me too often! The side bacon was cooked perfectly and the milk was nice and cold! My daughter ordered a breakfast sandwich (see pic), sausage, egg and cheese on a plain bagel. She said the bagel was fresh and tasty! We bussed our own table, when finished and off we went to start the day. If I could give 6-stars, I would.....great stop and Winthrop is lucky to have Jac's Cafe!

I found Jac's on Yelp and the reviewers weren't wrong! My husband had the Mountain Muffin (which of course I tried) and I had Jac's burrito. So good, so much food, plus the good coffee and a muffin to go.. and all under $20. We've spent more on just coffee. And the people were darling. Just when you come, don't assume it's closed bc you can't see the sign very well. I'm adding a pic so you'll know..

What a good breakfast and lunch spot. They have a great variety of sandwiches and awesome breakfast selections. It stinks that I could not eat in here but there is a parking lot across the street to enjoy your breakfast. I had the hash - which was hot, nicely crisp but a bit salty. I like salt so this was a plus for me. Then I had the Spanish Burrito. It was good size and tasty. The thing about this place is that the prices are incredible!! Definitely a great place to come again if I am in the area.

Amazing omlets and tons of flavored coffees -- very affordable! Winthrop's best kept secret (although not really a secret).

The cafe was actually buzzing with activity. There were a few patrons seated at tables outside and a few customers inside. Has the most offensive personalities of any service worker I have even encountered. Today I came in to make an order as I have for years. Here I am standing infront of the one weak link in the chain of Cafe Delite. I put my order in I get 3 of the same thing. And his ability to show his frustration comes right out. The man with the beard tried to intervene, but the damage was done months and months ago. I was referred there I have literally drove friends to see where it is and taken them inside paid for them to get them hooked. So why would I put this in the air. Because quality employees don't exist for most small businesses and if you don't do it yourself then you allow others to ruin your reputation. This owner and his what I think is his female manager are hands down the best. I am not stereotyping this one particular employee just because he dresses like a woman does not make him a bad person just because he may be a she or other does not make him a bad person. His personality is absolutely atrocious and should not be in the service industry may stick to fashion makeup There's a lot of things that you put a lot of effort into but hospitality is not one of them.!

The cafe is a smaller locally owned establishment and very well clearly a fan favorite. On a Sunday morning, almost every booth and seat was occupied. The menu features many of the breakfast fan favorites like omelettes, pancakes, and more. Venturing from my usual eggs benedict, I decided to get their chorizo breakfast burrtio. The chorizo was salty and the eggs were cheesy but I think seeing everyone else's dishes, this is certainly not their house favorite. BUT, my family loved their Morning Star breakfast, Irish eggs benedict, bacon egg & cheese omelette, Hungry Man Special, and corn beef hash. Peep my pictures to truly appreciate that they taste like how they look! From enjoying my breakfast burrito to trying some of my family's dishes, we were all more than happy with our wholesome and authentically American breakfast. The staff were so kind and an honorable mention has to be made for their wall full of acknowledged Winthrop Veterans. Absolutely loved my experience here and already looking forward to the next time I can come back to this cozy environment.

Though there hot food menu is limited, they do have delicious baked goods and some premade breakfast and regular lunch sandwiches they can heat up in a panini press. The coffee is great and the food is solid for what it is. Atmosphere wise, I like what they've done. There is a front seating area that is more public, a back seating area that is more private, and a back deck/outdoor seating area which is very cozy and great in warm weather. I've sat in all three spots and having the variety of options is nice. Service has always been great. The team there seems to have worked through the initial growing pains of move in/new set up etc and all seems to be functioning pretty efficiently. This is exactly the kind of place the neighborhood needed as previously Dunkin was the only real option in the Square.

The coffee doesn't taste very good either - and we've tried almost every type (latte, iced, specialty, ect) and none have impressed us. I hope they can improve these things and have a higher standard for their quality.
