Ist delivery order from this staple in Shreveport. I ordered sandwiches chicken salad had a smoky taste and shrimp salad both on wheat bread. The presentation was nice from the menu , I wasn't sure if the chips came with the sandwich but they are pictured on a plate . I ended up with extra potato chips. They weren't in a small bag but in a small take out container. There was also a pickle slice garnishing the meal . Sandwiches nicely cut in half. My favorite cake is German chocolate . One of my desserts ordered was the German chocolate pie and a slice of apple pie. Neither dessert was too sweet . For the apple pie I mainly tasted the cinnamon seasoning . read more

Going through Shreveport from a road trip and found this little gem. Looks to be a old gas station or garage that was converted to a restaurant. All the staff there is so friendly and helpful. Food was absolutely delicious and my picky little daughter ate her whole meal which says alot. Wife typically does not like poboys wanted to steal my son's! LOL. There was a guy who was talking to all the customers I believe may be the owner or manager, but I had asked for Ranch and he introduced me to remoulade which was amazing. Food was so good decided to try the dessert. Bought 2 desserts and same guy only charged me for one! I will definitely be stopping by this place every time I go pass Shreveport! read more

This restaurant is one of Shreveport's most consistent restaurants. To be a restaurant that's only open for three hours, have not changed the menu (for the most part) in 38 years, and deliver the same top shelf quality in food and service says a lot. This place is pretty amazing. A really matured operation, and well worth seeking out if you are relatively nearby. We were on a cross country road trip and had limited time/flexibility for lunch - took a shot on this pace and it really worked out. Order at the counter, keep it simple, they bring it out to you in multiple courses. Definitely a strong local presence in the clientele, and I really enjoyed my cajun sampler. Prices are appropriate for scratch food and service like this - tough to keep places like this going these days. I've been going here for decades. The food is simple yet outstanding. It is a bit overpriced, however. The roast beef and club sandwiches are terrific.
