She wanted to treat with surgery before trying medication for the problem of a consistent mildly abnormal pap smear. At the same visit, she agreed to do an STD culture at my request, did it, but apparently did not send it to the lab. Being an RN myself, I refused surgery and got treatment elsewhere, which was standard treatment for gonorrhea or chlamydia, resulting in clearing of the pap smears. Dr. Bract lacks bedside manners. She is extremely rude and talks down to you when you ask questions. She will only do a "written exam" and your physical must be done separately! I have never seen a Dr do something like this except for a Dr who wants to make more money. She is not polite nor is she compassionate. Her office is extremely outdated. I was referred to Dr. Bracy by mother's co-worker (bless her). After one visit with Dr. Bracy, I learned more about what I was going through than after three months with a doctor recommended by my primary. She advocated for me when I was in pain and educated me through a scary time. I got a little list of issues I've dealt with over the last year and she has handled all with diligence and care. An example of her magic: I was told by my previous doctor that I could only make the pain of endometriosis go away by having surgery or taking Aleve. When I asked Doctor Bracy what I could do ease the pain before needing a surgery she laughed and said how about we treat it. She presented a hormone free medication and continued to explain in detail how it would work and what I could expect. This is a new treatment - she is on top of her game. No more "well we can't really do anything about that" attitude. She also performed this gnarly surgery on me (for a different issue on the list) in the middle of covid and kicked but and I'm healed and my quality of life is way better without the pain. This is a really long review but I remember how scared, uninformed, and unseen I felt with my other doctor and if this helps anyone feeling that way and looking for another option - call her office. Dr. Bracy is precise, warm and caring. Just like her, the rest of her staff is great! They make you feel so comfortable and are well organized. There are near zero waiting times and there are always parking spaces. Seeing the other reviews, the woman in the photo is most definitely her. Scheduling a first appointment as a new patient, like any other doctor's office, can often be pushed one month or two from the initial call and is to be expected. The problem is with the medical assistants that do not know their job or how to take care of their patients. Its a sad day when someone has to make multiple calls and then has to spell medications names and explain what a milligram is to a medical assistant. I don't care to come back to see Dr Bracy. I will be going to another gyno in the future. First off it took nearly a month to set an appointment, not worth it. Secondly her office is totally outdated and needs an upgrade. Third to my surprise the picture of the lady on yelp front page is not the dr herself. I never felt that she was too busy to answer all my questions or rushed in any way. Dr. Jacqueline Bracy's office in Glendora has always been so amazing. I has suspected a UTI and had called the office to make an appointment as a returning patient. The woman on the phone had let me know that they were booked for months... I asked if I could just come in to give a urine sample in hopes of being prescribed an antibiotic for the UTI. They allowed me to come in that day, and give a sample. The women at the front desk were very sweet and efficient. They listened to my issues and helped me get on an antibiotic that has given me zero side effects! According to my mom, Dr. Bracy also helped deliver me when I was being born!! Let's just say I didn't have the best experience the first time I got my nexplanon changed in 2017... it left me traumatized and very anxious leading up to this appointment. Today, I had the pleasure of having my NP, Dr. Bracy, and two wonderful staff stay with me and help me through my mini procedure. Not kidding when I tell you I was shaking and crying before even getting the lidocaine. It meant so much to me to have this support. They all listened to my story, help my hand, and most importantly they took their time. The procedure went well and I walked out of the office feeling great. ABSOLUTELY NO STARS!!! (Disregard the one star that was given) The worst customer service I have ever received. Not only did the two ladies that answered the phone not have any knowledge on insurance carriers, but they both gave me attitude over the phone when I was trying to explain to them. For example, I have AETNA Insurance but I go to HealthCare Partners as my facility of choice. So when I called explaining to the girl that answered the phone that I have AETNA insurance PPO, and I would like to see an OB-GYN at their facility instead of at HealthCare Partners, the girl gave me attitude and told me that they do not accept HealthCare Partners as insurance and that they are HMO so if they're not able to bill through HealthCare Partners then they will have to bill me directly. Two ladies told me the same thing and then had the audacity to tell me that I was the one that was confused, when in reality they both were uneducated. Don't go there unless you want to be talked down to instead of helped. read more

I went to this office for the first time in October. Dr. Bracy was not available, so I saw a nurse practitioner. I paid my copay right before leaving the office. Today, I received a bill saying I owe them money. On the bill it says I paid cash , but says I need to pay them. So, I call the office. The receptionist transfers me to billing and they put me on hold to find my bill. The girl who I paid answered and rudely says I got it. I'm silent because I'm a little confused as to what she's referring to. So I asked her what she was talking about. She again, rudlely says your bill. I got it. So, to verify, I ask if I owe anything and again with attitude she said no. Do you have any other questions. To which I replied no. And she hangs up. I guess I'll be going to a different office where they don't treat patients like crap and give attitude. read more

I have been seeing Dr Bracy (who is NOT the person in the photo here) on and off for about 7 years. I had THE WORST experience ever there last month. It's taken me a while to write this since I'm not normally a complainer. Dr Bracy and her staff made me feel like garbage. Her receptionist ignored me for 30 seconds then carried on typing and said gruffly, without even looking up, one minute. Cared more about finishing her typing than warmly greeting a paying patient. For 20 mins after my scheduled appointment time, Dr Bracy paced up and down the corridor having a loud, unmasked conversation with an IT person about something non-urgent. By the time I found myself in the office, no-one apologized for keeping me waiting 30 minutes even though I was the only patient in the building. Zero warmth and friendliness. Dr Bracy's 'bedside manner' has always been very brusque, cold and to the point and I just put up with it over the years. This time was the last straw. She was clearly impatient with me and was not afraid to show it. When I asked if it could be x she just shrugged like a sulky teenager 'I dunno'. She had zero sympathy and went through a set of questions robotically. She made it clear she wanted me out of there as quickly as possible and showed no concern that I had several abnormal growths in my lower abdomen - said she couldn't even feel them - and kind of tssshed me out giving me a referral for an ultrasound. (I felt like she didn't believe me although I clearly did have something going on - why else would I waste an afternoon in a soul-less, window-less medical office?). I came out of the appointment almost in tears something that has never happened before. Maybe her profession has just made her more arrogant over time. Maybe she's sick of her job. Maybe she needs a vacation. All I know is I won't be going back and I wish I'd cut her loose years ago. And to add insult to the injury she doesn't even pick up the phone to give you your results she has her young, non-medically trained receptionist read them out and then acts as a go-between so when you have questions you get put on hold again and again while she asks Dr Bracy the answers. She can't even be bothered to talk to you. Pretty lame. read more

They just called now a few days before my appointment to tell me I ll have to pay cash and when I pointed out they said "we don't verify insurance until days before tbs appointment and we do it out of courtesy " is that right? Dr. Bracy has incredible bedside manner, and that means a lot coming from me. I was satisfied with a regular internal medicine doctor until some exams revealed fibrous tumors. As a result, it was time to go searching for a gyno! I did my homework, as I usually do. My friends don't call me the research queen for nothing. There aren't a whole lot of bells and whistles. Dr. Bracy's office is small and cozy. Free parking is a huge plus! In the 3 visits I've had here this year, there hasn't been one time that there *has not* been some chocolatey treats. Genius! She has a nurse and front office staff person that are all very nice. Dr. Bracy exudes professionalism and knows what she's doing. My mother was a patient of Dr. Bracy for about 18 months. I did not find that Dr. Bracy engaged the patient as much as she talked at the patient and at me. My mother had gone to her for a pessary which Dr. Bracy did not correctly fit initially which caused irritation. The pessary had to be resized but only after I brought the irritation issue to Dr. Bracy attention after seeing another gynecologist. Dr. Bracy then said my mother needed to have surgery for the bladder prolapse and was not a candidate for the pessary even though two surgeons had indicated my mother would be incontinent after the surgery. My mother is now seeing another gynecologist who has also prescribed estradiol vaginal cream along with the pessary and my mother is doing very well. Dr. Bracy never even mentioned that the estradiol vaginal cream as an option. read more

Everyone was so kind and they take great precautions with COVID. I will definitely go back and see Honeyleen again next year or sooner if needed.
