This weekend was going to be the first time I ever went to Mount Poconos. We only had half a day on…read moreour hands and horseback riding was one of the things I was dying to do. A short google search later, we found Daisy Field Farms and spoke to the owner who was kind enough to find us a slot that matched our schedule. We even got 20mins late while getting there because our GPS totally screwed us over, but they were kind enough to wait and immediately got us horses when we got there. I got Stella who was a beautiful big horse, strong and obedient. We trotted with our horses in a single file over a small hill/mountain. I don't know what to call it, only trust me when I say this IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. The farm looks like it's come out of the pages of an adorable old school english farm illustration. There are wagons here and there, Dumbo the dog is super friendly, there are goats you can feed, and rabbits too. During the one hour ride, you're taken up and down and around a mountain, through forests and fields and by small lakes. It was a gorgeous day when we went and everything looked 10times prettier. The couple who run this place are super nice and the horses look very well taken care of. Summer vacations are on and their three adorable little grandsons were helping around the farm too. I was positively jealous and swear I never wanted to leave. I'll be back again for sure, this place just made me so so happy!

We had an amazing guide! There was beautiful scenery through the mountains. I would definitely come…read moreback again!

Worst Experience ever; very disrespectful & rude owner, no helmets for children, very unsafe and…read moreunprofessional. I would give it zero stars if I could. We came here from NY for a birthday ride, my younger daughter got on a horse that was not too friendly, we kindly asked the trainer to get her off because she was nervous and crying. Only my husband and older daughter went on the ride while we stayed back. We asked for my younger daughter's refund and the owner started yelling and screaming at us, my husband and I are both medical professionals and we're shocked by his unethical & disrespectful behavior. I would never recommend this place to my family or friends. I will never come here again.

A pig next to the dogs kennel had no water , there was a extremely sick horse covered with a sheet and you couldn't see the bones sticking out and had puss in it's eyes, they had numerous animals , all looks skinny and had scars, there was a deer in with ducks and chickens, a mule standing in at least a foot of mud and poop. Rabbits running around loose and I saw two mating, it was extremely disturbing. This was all before we went on our ride which was supposed to be a hour and a half and was a hour . The trails were rocky my horse lost a shoe, it was extremely upsetting. The woman who cleans the cage told us they breed the bitch at every heat and sell the puppies for 800$ each. I have never wrote a bad review in my life but these people although very friendly should not own animals , it was hard to write this because they were very nice but I was so disturbed. I had to write something.
