My coworkers and I recently went to Jacob's to celebrate a birthday, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. They accommodated a table for seven of us, which was greatly appreciated. Despite having to adjust our reservation slightly due to work, the staff--especially our server--was kind, flexible, and super welcoming.
As soon as we arrived, our server was ready to take drink orders, and the service remained attentive and friendly throughout our meal. One standout detail: some of my coworkers wanted items from the lunch menu, and the restaurant was happy to accommodate--something you don't often see.
We also brought a birthday cake, which they kindly stored for us until the end of the meal. That level of service really made the celebration special.
Now, the food: absolutely delicious across the board. I had the Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp instead of chicken--creamy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My coworkers were just as impressed:
- The Chicken Pesto Panini was large and packed with flavor.
- The Lamb Gyro was generous in portion and came with crispy, tasty fries.
- Two coworkers raved about the risotto, calling it some of the best they've ever had.
- The seafood stew had rich, authentic flavors that impressed everyone.
- The rib-eye salad was refreshing and well-balanced.
Their wine list was another highlight--great selections that paired well with our meals. Also, I have to mention the Sonoma Pizza, which I've had before and is still one of my all-time favorites.
The restaurant itself is small, cozy, and truly authentic--a hidden gem that delivers an outstanding Italian dining experience. At the end of our meal, they brought out our cake with candles and let us celebrate right there in the restaurant, which was the perfect ending to a wonderful evening.
Highly recommend Jacob's for anyone looking for great food, amazing service, and an authentic atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!
