They were expected on October 24th, they didn't show up. Office lady said she'd call us back that afternoon. Instead she sent my husband an email putting us off till November 1st. We had had enough. We called national ServPro and they said we had to work it out with incompetent fools that messed up the job in the first place. Now we have to wait to get our deposit back. Needless to say they were even sorry that they wasted our time. DON'T CALL SERVPRO. They're useless. And they lie.

On Jan 4,2019 Paul Davis a private contractor was assigned by USAA, to rebuild/repair my home. 623 Amhearst In January I was told by Paul Davis my home would be rebuilt exactly the state it was in before the tragedy/fire. I was told by Paul Davis all repairs would be done accurately/efficiently and materials purchased would be brand new not recycled from fire. In June, 2019 I was unfortunate to realize all services performed were not done correctly and not only were repairs not done correctly NO building permits were submitted. I have no idea if work meets building and zoning codes. I contacted my insurance company (USAA) with dissatisfaction of repair throughout the whole process. My adjuster determined Paul Davis did not render services/repairs correctly. I have estimate emails from Paul Davis, factorial itemized list of wrong doings made by Paul Davis and staff. No permits were done with the city for the repair of my home. To include, electrical, HVAC, plumbing etc. Not one single permit was put in for my home in January for a large job totaling over $130k. My home was down to studs and the city has no records of permits. They are just now after 8 months attempting to put permits in for work that's already completed because I am demanding it. If care and safety of your home is important, reconsider before trusting this company. I have been working with Troy Bull and M.D Buck and this is how they have handled my home.

Not only did the inspection within 3 day of my call, they were able to schedule the demolition and mold remediation within a week. Adam, Gregoria, and Victor set to work first thing Thursday morning, then Victor and Gregoria finished the demolition by 5 PM. Their work ethic is stupendous and amazing. Wonderful people! Not only that but the owners, Jaime and Jim were checking in every so often to see how it was going. Service like this is beyond valuable. I contracted with PHD services for mold mitigation and water damage from leaking pipes. During the…read moreprocess, workers damaged my drywall in four rooms of my house, broke my countertop, island cabinet, and pipe for my kitchen sink. When it came time for them to pay for the repairs, I only submitted for the countertops as the project manager had been very accommodating to me with my circumstances at the time and I didn't want to seem petty. The countertop repair for the section of the countertop the workers broke would be around $850. The owner offered $400 and then I was instructed by the manager that he lowballed me so that I could come back with a counter offer and negotiate. Twelve days later, I received communication that the original offer stands and it was a take it or leave it offer. This company ruined my kitchen, drywall, and plumbing with their very nice, but clearly unskilled labor and now I am left accepting a fraction of the funds to make the necessary repairs to return my home to its former condition. This is shady, unethical, and poor business practice. I would warn others of using them for their home repairs and recommend using a more reputable company. I have reported them to the BBB and do not expect PHD to come through with compensation. In the rebuttal to my complaint, the company touted their 10 year track record of service. Be that as it may, my experience does not reflect that. Accidents happen, I am not mad or upset that there was damage. It is the owner's lack of responsibility and ethics that have me upset. If the company is so strapped for $850, then sadly they need it more than I do. However, I will share my experience on various media platforms to warn other consumers to beware and vigilant when using their services.
