That's right, multiple neighbors used South Shore Roofing and were 100% happy with their work. We had an appointment on a Friday afternoon, they showed up when they said they would. They confirmed the appointment in advance as well. We received an estimate that day and signed the contract shortly thereafter. They took care of everything including getting POA/HOA approval, which was not an easy feat with our POA. We received approval and work commenced within the week. They sent me photos of the work that they were doing as they did it too. They found dry rot under the shingled roof and replaced all the wood before placing the new roof on. We had a shingled wraparound porch, but opted to go with a metal roof for looks and longevity. We LOVE it! Customer service is top notch, follow up is amazing. This is a two part story regarding the one star. Part one,…read morethey did a floor coating for our upper front deck that began to bubble immediately after it dried. They came back to "repair" but same thing happened again. I called multiple times to have them come back with the final communication being "let me do some research and get back to you on that." Guess who didn't call back? You guessed it. At that point I gave up and resolved to have a couple bubbles, not worth my time or effort. This was well over a year ago. Part two is the current issue. My next door neighbor (who is great) hires them to put a new roof on their home. My neighbor makes sure they clean up the debris that continues to fall in my yard as will do when one rips off an old roof and installs a new one, which they did. So far so good. Then I noticed they had damaged one of the screens to our back patio which would require replacing. I sent a pic to my neighbor and he contacted them right away as they also knocked one of our security cameras off on the same side. Of course the foreman was super apologetic and assured him they would repair. My neighbor then offered to pay for the camera and deduct it from his bill, to which the foreman said yes that works. As for the screen they would take care of that themselves. Guess who still has a ripped screen THREE WEEKS later. After multiple calls and being told, the screen is special order due to size but it's coming, oh he is on his way, oh he had an emergency, oh it's raining, oh he got caught up on another job as well as few other no shows I offered to call myself, which I did. I left a message for the foreman and then called the main office directly. Spoke to a lovely woman who assured me I'd get a call on Monday..she stated that it was the first she was hearing if it but it would definitely get taken care of...guess who didn't get a call? Guess what day it is, not Monday anymore. Guess who stopped answering my neighbors calls? If you guess Your Total Exterior Pros you would be spot on! I find this business to be severely lacking in integrity and follow through, it's too bad too because my neighbors roof does look great...we shall see. If you want a company that truly stands behind their work I would go elsewhere.

South Carolina requires contractors to be licensed and bonded through the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (LLR). Without these safeguards, homeowners fear the contractor will abandon the project with their funds. Save your home from this type of charlatans. Contact your local county or city building department. Fixing a sinking foundation strictly requires building permits. Inform them that an unlicensed individual did unauthorized, unpermitted structural work on your home. Our house was so badly damaged, we couldn't move in, it was completely unlivable. I wish we never trusted this man, checked him first and went with Cantey or Mount Valley. Now he is using pictures of our home without our permission and shares our personal info to promote his illegal business. We don't appreciate it.

This company came to the rescue and really saved us. We purchased a TRANE XV20i from Old Coast Heating and Air Conditioning in 2018. The system is now 8 years old. The service we were receiving from Old Coast was overpriced, they sold us marked up parts, to include a replacement lightbulb for our RGF REME HALO-LED Whole Home In-Duct Air Purifier and would always upsell me during regular maintenance visits with adequate at best service. Additionally, we know now the $27,000 system purchased from them was not installed properly either. *********************BUT NOW???**************************** We switched to Savannah Air Factory after all our neighbors recommended them. They are now our maintenance company and our go to for all our HVAC needs! This company, undoubtedly, has better prices, service, and competency. They have an emergency number and a technician on call after hours (912) 944-8226. James was on call and he came out to fix the system temporarily so we could make it through the weekend until it could be fixed. Monday morning, I phoned their number (912) 665-6898 and spoke with Kaitlin. I explained our issue and that the system was down and she sent out Darren right away. Darren identified the problem, came up with the solution, and contacted TRANE Technical Support to verify it was the correct resolution. He accurately diagnosed a complex set of issues, including a failed evaporator coil, a refrigerant leak, step motor improperly seated, and sensors not set properly. Now, the system is running perfect, the way it was designed! Despite the extensive repairs needed, they handled the emergency seamlessly. They secured all the necessary parts immediately under warranty at no cost, offered transparent pricing for labor with no hidden fees, and replaced everything with absolute precision. Darren is a consummate professional, efficient, and very knowledgeable. They repaired the leak with a new coil, charged the refrigerant, and got our system running perfectly.
