Horrible. Didn't actually do the roof repairs that the insurance money paid for. It looked like a third grader did the part that they DID do. As a woman in her 60's, I was unable to go on the roof to verify that the work was done, & properly. It was like pulling teeth to get a written estimate, went with them as they were the only people I found that would do the work for the amount the insurance would pay. It took months for them to come out & numerous callbacks because of shoddy drywall & paint work. Matt is the worst. He won't return calls or texts of emails. It was only upon selling the house 6 months later that the home inspector noted all the storm damage that wasn't fixed & the shoddy workmanship. Contractor Connections couldn't make them give back the $2500 I had to spend to get it right. Their warranty means nothing. They came out when I wasn't there & pulled out some cap nails that the mitigation team put in day 1 & gooped up the nail heads and and pipe boots. Don't do it ! Worst experience with contractors. My Duplex was hit by hurricane Helene, which was in September of last year. They did not complete the project which should have been finished more than 6 months ago. When we reached out to have them to finish the repairs they ignored us for months. We messaged them more than 10 times via text, call, and email with no response. Please do not choose these contractors if you want a good repair in a timely fashion. I am very pleased with the work Paul Davis Restoration did on my home. I had wind damage to the roof and ceiling of one of my rentals recently. Paul Davis Restoration did all of the repair work needed inside and out. They were very nice to work with, and did an excellent job in a timely manner. They worked with the insurance company (State Farm) so that I all I had to pay was the deductible. There were no surprise costs. As the others have stated.... worst service ever. They were contracted to work on my floors in November and they are still not finished! The workers are very nonchalant about having any sense of urgency or pleasing the customers. Additionally, the lack of communication is beyond annoying. There have been many time where men were scheduled to come and repair but didn't show or if they did they were always late. It was also annoying when they would leave without letting me know. It's important to communicate when you are leaving and if you are returning. Ofcourse trying to coordinate around someone's work schedule can be difficult but even when an appointment is scheduled you should not be two hours late. Very inconsiderate of your clients time. In my case, it was clear they were okay doing mediocre work. After they claimed they finished, there was still flooring and furniture that needed to be repaired. No one ever followed up. I wouldn't recommend using this company. It's such a headache to get someone to talk with about your concerns and have someone fix your floors in a timely manner. It shouldn't take more than 3 months. I just want my floors finished. read more

My insurance company recommended that I use Paul Davis as their preferred vendor. It took them 3 months to install my roof after Hurricane Irma and still to this today it leaks. They refuse to fix it and consistently tell me what I want to hear on the phone and then do the opposite. They lie and break appointments. read more

Do not hire Paul Davis of Savannah, Ga! They cashed my insurance checks without my permission or signature which means they forged my name or their bank does not pay attention. Work was not even 1/2 completed and they ruined the tile I bought and now are refusing to pay for. I fired them, however we must rip everything out and start from square 1. Paul Davis was recommended by our insurance. We did read the reviews. There were 3. Only 3. So we thought they probably were 3 angry customers. Well add that one more and make it 4. First red flag, the adjustor didnt even show up the first day. We called and told they were not tracking. So they went someone 2 hrs later. We kept thinking, this actually happened to other 3 customers that reviewed. But we went through them because they were backed up by our insurance. The first day of work for demolition. They didnt show up. 2nd day nope. They finally started on wed. They worked all day, thank goodness. Thursday they worked until lunch time and left without getting anything done. Friday, finally worked all day. Sat worked few hrs. Sun worked until lunch time. Monday no show again. Tuesday no show again. Today is wed and no show again. Constantly calling the project manager. He doesnt even know whats going on. He says he will have his team down to work. Then the workers never show up. He says tmr they will start working. But then tmr never comes. Ours was supposed to be done last week. Yesterday we were told it was gonna be done by this Friday. Now that his team didnt show up today. They are coming back only on friday. Which means, we dont know when this is all gonna be done. We should have listened to the three other customers that reviewed before us. They never get their work done!! Seriously. And their work is not even that good. But at this time, we just want it to be done. I dont even care if there are too many gaps or anything on the floor. I just want the mess to be over. If I could, i would rate them like minus 10. Not even one star. They suck. And they need to realize that!! They need to get their work done. And they need to follow up. If we dont call, they dont even update us. The project manager doesnt even know whats going on. And to get anything done, we have to call, call, and call. read more

Incompetent project manager and hired workers. We had water damage and Paul Davis was our insurance's recommended contractor. They (PD) quoted us 3-4 weeks for completion - useless managers and workers took 19.5 weeks to complete! They had to order floors 4 separate times (3 times which I had to call the manufacture and place the order because the project manager bluntly lied about placing orders), laid the floors incorrectly and had to rip them up, nailed our pocket door in the open position, damaged several pieces of property, caused full refrigerator/freezer to thaw, painted with incorrect paint type, etc. The project manager would say they'd be there to work and they'd never show up... or work 1 day and not come back for several days again after. My case finally got passed up to the VP of our area, Joy, and she promised me it would be completed within 7 days... 15 days later and FINALLY they were done, even the VP couldn't get the workers to show up and do their jobs. Seriously the most irresponsible and inefficient contractors I have ever experienced. read more

WARNING DO NOT HIRE THEM!! Broken Furniture that has yet to be replaced and a thief who stole over $5000 from me!! Last September my house flooded and the carpet in my house had to be replaced, I was out of town at the time and didn't want to bring my baby back into the home, so I was told by the project manager it would be better if we stayed where we were, so I did. One of the employees had stolen over $5,000 I had saved and the company had broken a few pieces of my furniture in the process of moving around my furniture and now wont take responsibility for anything! I have a 6 drawer dresser in my bedroom that is completely unusable the drawers won't even fit back into the slots anymore, its been trashed. The piece of furniture that was ruined the most was my bed. I noticed that the slats were not sitting on the sides correctly, that hold the mattress up. There are 3 pieces of wood screwed into the sides so 6 screwed in all together; the head, middle and bottom. They snapped them out, didn't even bother unscrewing them! So now 3 boards are completely unusable. This was a very expensive king bed, one year old. Also, the drawers under the bed are destroyed and I cannot get them in or out. There a broken pieces under my bed from the drawer and the slats. I have to use force just to get the drawers back in and haven't used them since. Besides the broken furniture there are white paint scuffs and marks on almost all of my wood furniture where they moved it around. I have pictures of all the damage. There were also miscellaneous things broken throughout my house. Also when I returned the day before the last work day stuff was not put back where it was, I walked into a lot of work when I came back. My sons crib was piled high with stuff, he had no place to sleep, along with the guest bed, my living room and spare room all looked trashed! There were a mess of cigarette butts left on my front porch also when I returned that weekend. They had one more day of work on Monday, which 2 guys would finish. On Sunday night I went into the closet in my bedroom, confused why they had just left that closet but did the rest of my house (minus one room). I wanted to clean up in there a bit. My filing cabinet was not touched at that time nor kicked in. I left that morning to bring my stepmom to get a rental car back home. The house has been on a lock box so when I came home about noon the workers were already there. There were two men who left quickly after I got home and didn't say much to me. One male left in a gold beat up car, which did not look company issued. Tuesday I was home all day. I went into the closet about 4 pm to file some papers and saw that my 2 tier filing cabinet, that was locked, was kicked in. Inside that I had a Honeywell safe that was also locked that the lock was picked out of. Inside that was about $5000 cash. It was everything I have saved. Inside that lock box was a smaller one with even more cash.These were cards my deceased grandparents had given me year after year that had meaning to me with kind words in them. He had gone through at least 4 piggy banks throughout my house. I also had two $2 bills taken and some foreign currency taken. My home flooded, flipped up side down while I was away, my furniture destroyed and then on top of all that all my saving taken. The closet wasn't even put back to how I had it nor vacuumed. There were metal fragments left on the floor in there, showing the theft happened after the new carpet was put in. Both employees that day denied it to the detective, but I know exactly who they are and they're both guilty in my eyes. The company in Savannah hasn't apologized, taken responsibility nor offered us ANYTHING. Not even to replace the furniture they broke. Even after sending pictures of the damage in early January, I still have not heard anything back! Very unprofessional and the thieves are still working for them! If I can prevent just one person from letting these people into their homes then my work is done! Do your research. read more
