I am a remote buyer, meaning that I live in New York but am buying place in Savannah and flew in for the inspection. I am also very handy when it comes to home repairs and maintenance. However, I still learned a lot just by following Dave around as he did the inspection. He was relentless, crawling in the tiniest spaces, pulling off panels, opening and closing all the windows. There is just one more thing to say, Dave is an honest guy who takes his work very seriously. I asked him for a recommendation for a contractor to do some painting and other small jobs, and he said that would be a conflict of interest if he recommended people. That shows a lot of integrity and that, above all, is what is important.

From what I understand, it's normal to see these bugs around here, but there are ways to kill them. When I called Yates-Astro they were very responsive via email and phone and were able to make appointments just a few days out. Uriah came by in the morning and was very thorough with the spraying. He explained that the solution (SAFE for pets AND babies) gets coated around the inside and outside of the house. As the pests clean themselves they ingest it and die. Expect 2-3 days of dying pests. He went in our garage, every room of the house and the attic. He laid traps in the attic also. The really awesome thing about Yates is that if you find a bug, you can text your guy and he'll come back and re-spray. They spray every 2 months and it costs $65 every other month. I sleep better at night knowing that the bad bugs are staying outside and not coming inside. *spiders are a different story, gotta kill them with fire

I politely stopped responding to those questions about halfway through. Unlike most of the other apartments in the area (which had much better quality, at the same price) she couldn't vouch for the community because she lived somewhere else. She called out greetings to staff and residents and was ignored, probably by people who were scared of her. I was looking for the cheapest apartment in town and of the six that had available rooms, the other five were better furnished and finished, more hospitable, and for about the same price.

I loved the granite counters, the large kitchen peninsula with room for barstools and stainless steel Samsung appliances. The landscaping is well maintained and every yard has irrigation. The garages are huge. I was told they will have a playground, splash pad and bike racks. I also loved that I could tour by myself 12 hours a day 365 days a year.
