Jim and his team offer very responsive service. They handle the insurance companies for you.One time Jim got an insurance company to pay us more than they originally offered(the car was totaled). He got us a fair deal. I had to have some work done on my car once that wasn't covered by insurance and they did it for a very fair price. They have a clean comfortable front office. You can see them on Saturdays by appointment, which was helpful to me because of my work hours. They guarantee their work. One time we had an A/C problem about a year after a repair and we took it in and they handled it at no cost. I got into a pretty bad wreck on my way to work and was understandably both upset and scared. I felt very reassured when I got my car towed to Jacob's Autobody, and Brian was super helpful and made me feel much better about the whole situation. They recommended a rental car service and called to help me set that up before I got there, updated me daily on my repairs, and helped me with my deductible. I was very grateful to receive their help as the cost of the rental car added up quickly. Well what can I say about Jacob's Collision besides their great quality work? I have to say from a scale of 1 thru 10 I'd give them a solid 20!! They went definitely went the extra mile and treated me like family! Brian exceeded my expectations, he fully explained the paperwork and work process perfectly to me until I fully understood and also went above and beyond and dealt with the insurance issues that I know no other person would've dealt with. My twelve-year-old, 179,000-mile Camry needed the roof, trunk lid and rear bumper repainted due to the brutal sun exposure of the Sacramento Valley. Needless to say, I didn't want to sink a whole lot of money into the old girl. Since I wanted only part of the car painted, it was important to find a shop which could skillfully blend the repair into the existing finish. I am extremely picky and I know what a proper paint job looks like. Jacob's Auto Body's staff did a fantastic job. The color match is spot-on. The car was ready a day earlier than promised. I had an excellent experience working with Brian at Jacob's Auto Body & Customizing after a less than excellent collision with a wild turkey on Hwy 80. My 2013 VW Jetta needed over $7,000 of front end repairs and replacement parts. Brian was always available when I called, plus he informed me if he had concerns due to insurance coverage for parts. Not only did he provide timely service for me since I live out of area, but he also reduced my deductible out-of-pocket expense. A/M parts were covered by the insurance company which were inadequate to repair my car in excellent condition. Brian was able to get the critical OEM parts to make my car look new (including the hood), even taking care of the expense of a couple of OEM parts himself. I picked up my car last Friday and it was repaired impeccably. The paint looks wonderful and although I have driven my car many miles it looks new. Finally, Jacobs guarantees their work for the life of the car. I highly recommend this shop if you have a need for body repair work in the Vacaville area. Gratitude... read more

Why was my review removed? I say this that I had nothing but issues with this shop. I had to return my truck three times and even then they truck still is not back to its original state. Also there was a dent they never fixed on the cab and I mentioned to the owner twice and he informed me this will get fixed when I brought it back the last time. I had sanding scratches that are still visible to this day and this shop seemed that they were tired of dealing with me. At first I was OK this shop is good but once they started to do all the work and the imperfections showed up it seemed they didn't want to fix them. At this point I would not trust this shop at all especially now they removed my comment. Why I don't know. read more

I recently scratched my hood on my new Tacoma pickup truck, and was very anxious to get it repaired. I took it to the dealer found out they didn't have the touch up paint, I received a recommendation to go to Jacob's Auto Body. I spoke with James when I arrived and he was wonderful, and I scheduled an appointment. The friendly staff greeted me at my appointment and they touched up the hood as I waited. Their work and performance was professional, they explained what they did and how to care for the paint job.I highly recommend them and will remember them in the future. read more
