(Horses, dogs, cats, llamas, chickens, etc.) In addition to pet supplies and the Woodstock Animal Foundation for pet adoptions they have a myriad of great gifts. The store carries silver jewelry and picture frames, wind chimes, wild bird feeders, and "Kentucky Proud" local food items. Seasonal garden items can also be purchased. Stumped about what to give that hard to buy for relative. Ask the owners for ideas. I did last December and was guided to buy silver topical spray for the oversees military member to spray on his feet and in his boots. Let me tell you the present was quite a hit. (Same spray worked wonders on a hot spot on my Golden Retriever's leg.)

I have not revisited this store since before the change, but it doesn't sound like there will be huge changes from the former Metzger's. I'll try to post an updated or new review once I've had the chance to revisit. I'm forced to give a rating before Yelp will let me post, so I'll tentatitively give it 4 stars until I can see it for myself.

I have a 2017 Troy Bilt Bronco Riding Mower and in 8 years I have had zero issues with this mower…read more It had been a couple years since I had maintenance on it so I decided to use Andersons Sales and Service in Crestwood Ky. I had to call a several times to get an updates. During one of my calls it was recommended that I get a new belt which I approved and it took 3 weeks to get the mower back. The second time I used it to mow grass, the belt came off and I couldn't drive the mower. They came and got it again to look at the problem and I was told the pully assembly had broken. It took 5 more weeks as they waited for parts. When I finally got it back it did great on the front yard and side yard but when I got to the back yard it was a hatchet job. The deck had fallen on one side and literally tore up my back yard. I went to Andersons to ask them to pick up again and fix it at no charge since none of these problems existed before I took it in for routine maintenance. I am on a fixed income and was told I could not get any part of a refund and I would have to pay to fix it again. When I got home I decided to cancel the 3rd pickup as I did not want to put any more $$$ into it as it seemed issues were cascading and getting worse. I truly regret using Andersons because now I am going to sell my 2017 for basically parts or if someone is handy with fixing mowers. I now have to buy a new mower because I have no confidence in the work that was done. I will not use them again or recommend to others.

Today, I visited the Watterson Trail Anderson's store to get a part for my Bad Boy mower, which I…read morebought from Anderson's several years ago. The parts department staff said they did not have the part in stock, but that it was available at their Crestwood store. They said they would send the Crestwood store my order, and that it would be ready for me when I came to Crestwood to pick it up. So I drove all the way out to Crestwood, but was met with blank stares from the parts department. They said they didn't know anything about my request, and after 15 minutes of fumbling around, said they did not have the part. The young woman at the desk said it was not her fault, since she had just come to work. No one apologized to me, or suggested a solution. I told the parts staff member my concern was not with her as an an individual, but with her company's abject failure to meet my needs as a customer. I told the parts staff, " never mind," came home, and ordered the part online for 1/3 the price they had quoted me. My message to Anderson's is this: If you can't do a better job at customer service than this, you don't deserve to survive as a business.

Really frustrated with this company and the whole process of purchasing a new mower. The purchase…read morepart was easy, they took my money quickly, then had to wait for a grass catcher to be ordered, so got delivery about a little over a week later. We parked it in the garage, and three days later I went to do my first mow, and it wouldn't start, after several attempts, we had to jump it off, and as long as I didn't let it stop, I was able to mow. Also, the bag catcher didn't fit properly, but now I find out its because I didn't have it installed properly, it would have been nice if someone would have taken the time to show me how to put it on properly, but that would take customer service skills. After my first mow, I called them, they came out and put a new battery on, and supposedly it was fixed, again, about 3 days after that, I got on it to do my 2nd mow, and guess what, it wouldn't start. I made sure my arms were in the right position, and everything was correct, but just clicking. I had to jump it and again, it jump started immediately, and I was able to mow again, but by this time, I'm just angry, i've paid a lot of $$ for a new mower, I shouldn't have to jump start it each time. So I called them again, and they said well, sometimes we get some machines that just aren't right, and they have to work with them, so they came out again to pick up, this time, they kept it for over a week, they claim that it has started everytime they've attempted, so they can't find anything wrong with it. I asked them, if I get this back, and it doesn't start, and we can prove its not user error, what is the process of giving this back, because I'm not going to be out the money, and I was told that they can't take it back, I would be stuck with it, but I could trade it in on something else, but not for the total sell price. I think if we reach that point, I will have my attorney contact them instead of me. So today, they delivered it back to my house, I told the manager Shane, to have them call me and I would open the garage so they could park it inside, if my wife didn't answer the door, and guess what, they just left it sitting in the middle of my driveway, never tried to get my wife to the door, and didn't call me for assistance. Moral of this story, you can purchase from them, they are happy to take your money, but after the transaction, don't expect any type of customer service...
