(Horses, dogs, cats, llamas, chickens, etc.) In addition to pet supplies and the Woodstock Animal Foundation for pet adoptions they have a myriad of great gifts. The store carries silver jewelry and picture frames, wind chimes, wild bird feeders, and "Kentucky Proud" local food items. Seasonal garden items can also be purchased. Stumped about what to give that hard to buy for relative. Ask the owners for ideas. I did last December and was guided to buy silver topical spray for the oversees military member to spray on his feet and in his boots. Let me tell you the present was quite a hit. (Same spray worked wonders on a hot spot on my Golden Retriever's leg.)

It wasn't edible. This does NOT happen overnight. There was a small cage that had baby mice in it. Brand new babies. No fur, eyes not open. Merely days old. No mother with them and they were just lying in the bedding. These babies cannot survive like that. One of them in particular did not appear to be alive any longer as you couldn't even see it breathing. Some were moving around. I am heartbroken at the way these animals are being treated here. I will never shop at this franchise again and I will do my best to encourage everyone else to do the same.

I do think the pet wash could use an update because the doors to most of the bath bays are broken and only one of the bays still has the ties to keep the pet in place, I've also been to other locations where they had bays that were easier to get bigger dogs in and out of.

The best things about the dog washing station are the air dryers (ask the staff for towels too!)and the very large tubs with the leash to help hold your pup in place. The only negative is sometimes other dogs' hair are left behind in the tubs, but there are three tubs so you can either clean it out or find one that hasn't been used that day. It is $11 and worth every penny! Besides the dog washing station, they have a variety of supplies for all animals, and if you aren't sure about a product or need help, the staff is very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and always friendly with your animals. They love our pup and always ask if they can give her treats. Additionally, they have obedience training for your dogs as well as host local animal shelters at their store to help animals get adopted. Overall, a wonderful store & we will be repeat shoppers!

Except for a little des to the right of the door were the have set up a little desk with all the papers and keys for the U-hauls they rent. I've had trouble with U-Hauls corporate shops on more than one occasion. I once got a U-Haul that was spitting gas out of the sixth cylinder. That made the shop all the more wonderful. The owner mainly work the weekend and we were lucky enough to have med them. They do the same inspection on the trucks they rent out as they do for their own trailers when they are hauling horses. One of the owners was telling us how if she finds anything wrong she calls the U-Haul mechanic who is a little man that can fix anything according to her to come out and make sure everything is perfect before she will rent out a truck. They take pride in their work and the service they provide whether it be in the TAC shop or as a neighborhood U-Haul dealer. I highly recommend getting ant trucks or vehicles you need to move or hall good and materials from them. It was a great experience and they were very helpful.

My favorite part is the bakery cookies for the pups, I love picking out cute treats for special occasions and just because. I am also a fan of their self service dog washing stations. They have been a life saver after muddy hikes. The wash stations are fully stocked with shampoos, conditioners, ear cleaners, cleaned brushes, aprons, dryers, and towels which makes bath times easy. The Preston Hwy location has the best set up for the baths in my option. Lastly, their home delivery service is THE BEST. I literally placed an order in the morning and it was delivered to my doorstep the very same afternoon. Delivery was free and I didn't have to carry two 50lbs of dog food in and out of my trunk. Typically delivery is next day in my past experiences, but still very fast. I would definitely recommend shopping at Feeders over big name pet stores and online options. They have 4 or 5 wash stations and each one has a dry station. The one on the far end is my favorite; because my dog is able to just walk in and I found it much more convenient. I've used the other ones for my dog; and if you have a bad back, these would work well for you as well. They have everything that you would need there to wash your dog, except stuff for teeth or nail clippers. They don't mind if you bring your own stuff...and we do almost every time. The coverings work really well until someone breaks something on it and fails to tell management. There's only so much that people can do. For $10 to wash my dog, and leave all his hair there and let someone else clean it up?? Worth EVERY penny!! I will ALWAYS drive from Lexington to Frankfort's pet wash station every time.

I know people will think this is cute and funny because he looks like one of the good ol' boys, but I think his presence is offensive, and others would too if it happened to them. I shop at Petco now, and so far the customer service is pretty nice. I don't hassle anyone, just need to buy pet food and sometimes like to look at all the pets for sale like anyone else does.
