5 stars for Keith's! I visited recently after getting a stove installed and needing a cap for the gas line. I was in a time crunch and called Keith's. And they knew just what I needed! Not only that but they also had it waiting for me at the front register. I showed them a picture of what I was working with when I arrived, and the staff (maybe Keith himself?) pointed out a few other things that were important for me to know about my project. Keith's has so much of what you would need for a project, with some other fun bits mixed in. I have a soft spot for neighborhood hardware stores, and Keith's definitely ranks high! read more

They always have everything I need and are right in my neighborhood. They have super nice staff.

Small, but they are packed to the gills inside and are always ready to help you find whatever you need. Sharpened my push mower for a decent price and time frame. I think they also do lamp repair? I have never used that service but its nice to know in case you need it. Of course priced higher than Home Depot, you are in the Highlands and getting top notch service so yeah read more

I get my flowers and soil every year from Keith's.... helpful staff. Emily is very knowledgable and easy to talk to!!

I had to write a 5 star review. Where's why.... Our hose bib was leaking so I took it to Keith's Hardware and immediately upon entering Bill took over. Bill took a screwdriver and unscrewed the leaky gasket and walked me down an aisle and found the right gasket and installed it. Cost....$0.29. Are you kidding me? I love this place! read more

Keith's hardware is a gem hidden on Bardstown Rd. After spending countless hours and several trips to the big box stores trying to find a part to fix my dishwasher, I came to Keith's. They had exactly what I needed and I could have saved myself a lot of time and headache if I had just come here first. Lesson learned! In addition to a large variety of parts and hard to find items they also have a great selection of plants and gardening equipment and so much more! Do yourself a favor and check them out! read more

Fun little hardware store. Every time I walk in, the people working immediately ask me what it is that I need, and they jump at the opportunity to help me find it. So if you go in and you know what you need, you'll be in and out in under 4 minutes. Fantastic. I'm not the handiest person. I can fake my way through a few things, but I can use a little help on occasion. The people working could sense this, and sort of guided me to what I needed. I appreciated their guidance. Small store. May not have everything you need. But I bet if you ask for it, they'll know where to get it. And that's why they're top notch. read more

Friendly staff. Open on Sunday. Had everything we were looking for (charcoal fluid, keys Lowe's doesn't carry, toolbox, hammer). We need to support places like this more often. read more

We purchased a house in 2017, and since the purchase we have been doing small renovations, working outside of our home in our yard, and purchasing lots of household items. We shop at lots of different hardware and home goods stores around town, but Keiths Hardware is awesome! I love the small local feel of this shop, and the staff is great. If you're in the market for home supplies, Keiths Hardware is a great place to shop! read more

This store justifies misusing the word literally because it just literally has everything that could be construed as in the hardware category or even tangentially related to hardware! I needed a whole mess of random things and my instincts developed while growing up in the suburbs told me to head to the Target/ Walmart/ Lowe's area for but I'm glad someone recommended Keith's. A copy of a key, sandbags, a white cover to make a sandbag look aesthetically ok, CFL light bulbs and a plastic stake to stick sign on top of were all found right down the street from me at Keith's. The key didn't end up working but even Lowe's and two other local hardware stores couldn't make a copy of this key, so I guess it's an impossible task. This shop though...this shop had soooo many key templates so I'd rec coming here first as long as you're not trying to copy a key to a storage unit from CitySpace. read more

A great hardware store with lots to offer. I went in to look for some bolts for my bike. Prices are very reasonable. I love looking at their flowers when they have them out. It's a bit cramped, though. I scratched myself on one of the empty product hooks in one of the aisles. It's a very small buildings so I can understand but to people going here, just be careful. read more

They have sleds when no one else has any left!!!! Keith's saves the day!!!!!!!!!!!! I once took a lock there to have it fixed. It cost me THREE bucks to get it fixed and to have two replacement keys made. Can't beat it!!!!! They're the best ever!!!! read more

Keith's came through in the clutch when I was having an epic snow day sledding at Cherokee Park when I entered the big air competition and split my sled in two on the golf course hill! I needed a sled fast to advance to the semifinals and they followed through with a solid piece of USA molded plastic that will fly me to the moon off when I bomb down the hills at Cherokee Park. Although I hate the name Keith, (it's just a personal thing) it won't stop me from shopping here. They have everything you could need. And a bunch of stuff you didn't know you need but you do now because it's cool. Buy local, stay local. The best little hardware store around. read more

Took my lawn mower with a new blade to be replaced. Took the technician 5 minutes to do the job. $8.00. Help me take the machine in and out of the car. I had called in advance to let them know I was coming. Great service. read more

I love this place! So you may not be able to get Everything you need here since it is not a mega mart but you will get down-home service with either a smile or a gruff face (you know who I'm talkin' about ; ) and he is nice and funny anyway). You can also help yourself to some free popcorn while you are waiting. The only thing they are missing is a store dog to "vaccuum" the floor of the popcorn anyone drops. read more

I've always enjoyed the service at this hardware store, but in pandemic times, they are off the charts outstanding. Mask compliance is great, they always answer the phone, and the curbside service is prompt and thorough. Easily the best pandemic pívot I've encountered. read more

I just bought a house and called around to several local places looking for a mower. Not only did Keith's have a competitive price on a reel mower, but the lady I spoke with on the phone let me know that I could get a rebate at the register from a city program to improve air quality. The friendly staff quickly found the model I wanted and brought it out. They offered to put it together for me, but I went ahead and took it home to assemble myself so that I could start mowing sooner. While I was in the store, I was really impressed with the huge array of things they have in a relatively small space along with how well organized everything appeared to be. In fact, the man who found the mower for me was putting inventory stickers on a couple of old window screens when I walked in. read more

Keith's is a neighborhood treasure. Need a 1/2" 69-cent hose clamp? Right here, sir. One 3/4" washer? In this drawer. Old used strike plate? An assortment hanging on this wall. Walk in, tell the guy sitting in front of the counter what you want and he takes you directly to it. A quart of ceiling paint? Screen door hardware? Leaf blower? Flower pot? Front porch rocking chair? In and out in 1 minute unless you want to hang around and chat over a bag of popcorn. read more

standard neighborhood hardware store. if you need more of endorsement than that stick to home Depot

There are some items we have to go to Keith's for simply because they aren't available in the larger box stores. The prices can be a bit higher on some items, but the service and availability of everything we need has kept us coming back to Keith's for several years now. read more

We rented their power washer for a weekend and it worked like a dream. Our house and deck look brand new. Great customer service!
