The first omen was seeing a man with no mask on. There is a state requirement about masks.. If you are going to post signs about wearing a mask, enforce it! No one was at the paint department, so the woman at the check-out register announced on the P.A. for assistance at the paint department. After waiting 10 minutes, I left. And the store was not busy at all! I had planned to buy the items on my long list while the paint was being mixed. I doubt if I'll go back. This used to be one of my favorite stores. It seemed like there were always friendly, usually older, men ready to assist or answer any questions. It's changed. And not for the better.

Granted, I'm glad it wasn't more than that, but it was still more than repair was worth. Second visit: The black cable cover had become detached again. We took it to the back (repair) counter again, and the guy who waited on us *this* time ended up taking the cover completely off and slapping on some black electrical tape in its place. At the checkout, another employee help me at the self checkout because I could not lift the air-conditioning unit out of the cart to scan it so she took care of it for me. I gotta give this store an A+ for customer service today. The associates really care. The store was well organized, and pretty much stocked considering it is a Friday.
