Dr Jackson really helped me with an ongoing, distressing problem with my ears. After swimming in the ocean after a storm, I had pain, drainage, itching, ringing and hearing loss in my both my ears for six months. I was very uncomfortable and concerned. I had been to see two different physician assistants previously who both misdiagnosed me. One gave me antibiotics three times and the other told me both my eardrums were ruptured. When I finally got a referral to Dr Jackson, I was quite anxious and uncomfortable. He immediately reassured me that he would be able to help me. He listened to my story and he was very calm and unhurried. My experience with his office was also very good. I was given an apt within one week of contacting his office. The office staff was friendly and professional. I didn't have to wait very long in the waiting room either. One of the doctors in the office did a complete hearing test and then Dr Jackson examined my ears. He took cultures, suctioned out the debris, and put medication in my ears. I IMMEDIATELY felt relief. The office called me quickly with the results of my culture. In two weeks and two separate anti-fungal medications my ears improved and recovered. In the end my diagnosis was simply swimmers ear. Im back in the ocean again and very grateful to Dr. Jackson for it. I highly recommend Dr. Keith Jackson and his office. Cancelled my appointment with less than 2 hours notice. Waited for this appointment for over a month. In addition I received 2 letters and a voicemail reminding me 4 separate times that if I cancel less than 24 hours they would charge me a $35.00 fee. Their office lacks customer service skills. Firstvimpressions were good. I forgot to fill out the paperwork they mailed but they provided duplicate s for me to fill out. I also arrived late because I had the address down wrong. All of this my own undoing. As a result the office and staff were polite and accommodating. They weren't upset I arrived super late and instead saw me shortly after I got the paperwork done. Hearing test was done quickly and thoroughly. The doctor explained to me plainly what was wrong and the courses of action that may need to be taken if the meds didn't do the trick. A very good visit and this place is recommended if you have ear problems. read more

I went to Dr. Jackson for an Endoscopy. I have had one of these before by a professional. I say a professional because the way he handled the procedure was NOT professional in any way shape or form! First off, he sprayed Lidocaine up my nose but didn't wait for it to numb me!!! Then he proceeded to use a wayyyy oversized instrument up my nose ( I know it was the wrong instrument to use because I have had a successful and painless procedure done before). It was the most painful experience I have ever had in a doctors office. He put a rod the size of a No. 2 pencil up my nose without the numbing meds kicking in! WTF His diagnosis: You are perfectly fine. okay, If I was fine, I would not have come here at all! I not only had a horrible experience in his office, but afterwards I had side effects. My nasal cavity was very sensitive to air and was in constant pain, I was having sinus problems and everytime I blew my nose I was having air and liquid bubble out of my eye on the side of my face he did the procedure on. ....Dr. Jackson's response: Take Aspirin. SERIOUSLY?! Asprin? You messed up and you dont even have the decency to directly speak to me on the phone and tell your receptionist that ALL OF MY SYMPTOMS have nothing to do with what his prcedure and to take aspirin. That shows no concern or consideration for his patients. ps. This doctor should not even be a last resort and anyone wanting a safe and pleasant experience should stay away. read more

Nice receptionist, clean office. I came in today to have both a Laryngoscopy and a nasal endoscopy done. Basically, what that means is they are going to put a small tube down your nose and maneuver it to your voice box to make sure that all is ok either with a previous surgery or a future surgery. The receptionist was really nice as I mentioned. When going into the room there were a lot of vintage pictures. I was already terrified when the assistant came in to take my vitals. This also went smoothly. I became terrified when she asked me WHY I was there. I was referred there by a surgeon to check my voice box after a surgery and prior to another one. "Why didn't she know why I was there?" She did reassure me that she would make sure that she called ahead and find out the purpose of my visit. I did not feel very secure. When Dr. Jackson came in and knew exactly what was going on I felt completely comfortable! My heart rate was at 72 just sitting there and honestly I was still terrified. There was a squirt of numbing stuff and then of Afrin. He put the small tube down the left side of my nose and straight down my throat to my voice box. I truly did not feel it but my heart was still beating frantically! The procedure was over in approximately 90 seconds at the very longest from entrance to exit. The best news was that everything was great! Dr. Jackson's bedside manner was polite and professional no more, no less. Thanks Dr. Jackson for being quick and efficient! :-) read more

Lisa provides exactly what exemplary customer service is, and from a patient's standpoint, she's beyond compare. She goes farther than above and beyond to help. I've made numerous phone calls to her, as I've needed her assistance with several issues. Never had she made me feel like I was bothering her and she always has a tone of compassion and a smile in her voice. She ensures that my concerns are addressed and I've never ended a call with her where I'm left feeling unimportant. Lisa is truly an asset to Dr. Jackson's practice. read more

One of the things that really bugs me about doctors is when they don't listen. Two, they make you fill out multi-page forms of your entire life & family history, then they don't read anything! 1st appt with Dr. Jackson: He told me that my CT was too old and I needed to get a new one. Really? You just charged me $15 of co-pay just to tell me that? Cuz you couldn't have told me over the phone how recent my scan had to be in order to be useful? He decided to suggest I use a nasal spray, started going on and on about how it's better than others on the market - when I interrupted him to asked for the name of the spray. Veramyst. HeLL-OOO! Been there, done that! Stop assuming I know nothing! He just didn't get that I went to see him as an ENT because nothing else has resolved my problems! 2nd appt: Dr. Jackson said, let's look at your CT scan, scrolled thru the images, and announced that it looked completely normal. No probs! REALLY? You had to charge me another appt just to say that? (Good job American health care, right?) Dr. Jackson's suggestion - You can go see an Allergist. Again, HeLL-OOO! I'd seen TWO Allergists! Or else I wouldn't have paid money to see your ugly a**! And stop talking to me like I'm in kindergarten! I already had to tell you to stop with the crap and that I'm in the health care profession. (as in, I know my shit and you should've looked at my chart before you talked down to me!) Oh yeah, I noticed the nurse was wayyyy off on my pulse rate. So I told another nurse who came in, as well as Dr. Jackson, but no one cared! No one rechecked, no one said anything! Other complaints: *Parking: Paid lot only. And the office doesn't validate. WTF? *Google map gives better actual location on the office than their own map that they send you! Pathetic! read more

After reading a few of the prior post I reluctantly went to see Mr. Jackson. I wished that I didn't... I've been having sinus issues for the past three years and didn't want to continue feeling miserable every day so I decided to undergo sinus surgery. I requested a CT Scan from my primary physician and the results reported that I had moderate bilateral ethmoid sinus opacificaion with occlusion of the left ostiomeatal complex by mucosal thickening. After reading the CT scan report my primary physician didn't have any other option but to refer me to an ENT specialist (I have an HMO so I need a referral). Unfortunately, I was referred to Mr. Jackon... So I scheduled a visit to see him. First off, you have to pay $5 for the privilege of parking your car in the facilities where this guy is located. I went into his office and he probably check me for about a minute and then he tells me that I have a deviated septum and that's the reason for all my problems, and that I need a septoplasty done, but because he is such a nice guy he'll also perform a ballon sinuplasty. He performed both surgeries back on April 22, 2015. Its been about four months since he performed the surgery and I still feel like crap. When I told him that the procedures he performed weren't successful and that I would have been better off if he performed an ethmoidectomy and FESS maxillary anthrostomy he told me that I was imagining things and that everything was healing fine. However, out of the kindness of his heart he schedule me for another appointment 3 months down the road and told me that I could call him whenever. His unsuccessful procedures were paid for my insurance and the total amounted to approx. $30k. Are you kidding me? My insurance paid that amount of money so that this clown piles on more money for doing absolutely nothing to improve the symptom's of his patient. I changed medical groups and scheduled an appointment with the ENT that I originally wanted to see. If you have serious problems do yourself a favor and don't see this guy because he wont help you. read more

I received at referral to see Dr Jackson in January. After calling his staff multiple times, I was finally able to get them in the phone to try to make an appointment. While I saw my referral in the system, they claimed the saw no record of it. I had to print it out myself and take it to their office. I get there after 1 pm and I have to wait 20 minutes because the front office/receptionist area had nobody at the desk. After hearing two people gossiping in the back, and yelling if anybody was there, somebody finally came over. I gave them my referral and asked when the next available appointment was, which ended up being 8 weeks away on March 17th at 8 am. I booked the appointment. Yesterday afternoon (less than 24 from my appointment) Lisa, the office manager, leaves a voicemail stating that they needed to reschedule my appointment to a later time and that if I couldn't make that new time to call them and they would try to accommodate me. When I called them back to say that new time didn't work, the only other option they could give me was May 12th. When I told Lisa that was unacceptable, especially since I didn't cancel my appointment and they did, she became extremely rude and condescending and hung up on me. When I called her back to request to speak to the doctor about the scheduling issue she told me that he doesn't deal with scheduling, only she does because she is the office manager and she hung up on my again. While Dr. Jackson may or may not but competent, the office staff he employs are definitely not. It doesn't matter how good he could be if you can't get in to see him. Save yourself the trouble and find a more professional medical team. I wish I would have read the reviews earlier. I could have saved myself a lot of wasted time. Please learn from my mistake. read more

I was referred to Dr. Jackson by my primary care physician. I had previously seen an ENT specialist who was not very helpful. Dr. Jackson was extremely helpful--he wrote me a different prescription for the treatment of my frequent ear infections (the one I had been using was painful), and he removed wax from one of my ears. Wax ! I had no idea that it was there, and causing hearing problems. I will go back to him if I have further sinus or ear issues. read more

I am one week post sinus surgery for blocked sinuses, polyps and infection that was ongoing for months. I am thrilled with the treatment and experience with Dr. Jackson. After a CT scan that led to the surgery prognosis I was extremely apprehensive seeing I was a healthy 41 year old who had not suffered with sinus issues in the past. Doing my due diligence, I went for a second opinion to a highly referred ENT. He too recommended surgery, however, wanted to correct multiple "issues" including a deviated septum. I went back to Dr. Jackson who was so honest with me from the beginning and let me know I would feel like a new person with the minimal surgery he suggested. He was looking out for what was best for me and recovery and not treating me like a business. His staff was hands on and kind and went above and beyond to get me a date quickly and always fit me in for appointments during the battle of sickness. Dr. Jackson never rushed me. I had a lot of questions and many times I am sure asked the same ones twice. I found him to be sharp, witty and a great surgeon and caring Dr. He is knowledgeable and has a lot of experience, education and credentials. I appreciate his sense of humor and direct approach and also his kindness and patience when it was needed. I believe Dr. Jackson is passionate about helping patients feel better. read more

My reasons for seeking treatment are frustrating but his staff has made extra effort to help me and get things resolved quickly. Dr. Jackson helped me with a snoring issue that grew more intense with my age. I'm 47 and my snoring had become an every night issue that would have my Wife sleeping on the couch for most nights. It also left me tired at times when I woke up from the interrupted sleep. I really appreciated Dr. Jackson's professionalism with his clear assessment and treatment plan, a septoplasty and uvulectomy. He explained it all to me. Over the years, my uvela had been stretched from all the snoring and the septoplasty was to straighten my air flow affected from a deviated septum. You are supposed to breathe through your nose when sleeping and I had been switching to mouth breathing due to this the crooked air flow. My primary physician and the nursing staff at Sharp all had great things to say about Dr. Jackson, which, when unsolicited, meant a lot to me. I have seen one PA and MD for ENT issues. This was my 3rd try and same results. I didn't feel any of them wanted to go above and beyond to find out what is going on. Dr Jackson staff was nice. I ended going back to my PC doctor and he recommended my 4th ENT doctor. I will see what happens next month. read more

I first have to say that I did NOT actually get to Dr. Jackson. So I cannot talk about his skills as a doctor. But here's my story: I had something in my ear, it was painful and I had hearing problems, so I needed an appointment urgently. Dr. Jackson's office could only schedule me a few weeks later, earliest. That sucked, but I understand they were busy, so I took the appointment. A few days before the appointment came up (finally, I was looking forward to finally go!), the staff left me a message on my voicemail stating that my appointment was cancelled and that I had to book a new one. When I called them back, they told me "yeah sorry the doctor is going out of town so he has to cancel your appointment.. you'll have to reschedule". I found this very unprofessional (what doctor cancels on their patients, unless for an emergency?), but I just booked a new appointment (which was -again- a few weeks later, sigh...!). Then, as I was looking forward to my new appointment, I received a voicemail message AGAIN from the staff, stating that the doctor was cancelling my appointment again. Without any further notice or explanation. I called them back and said I would not need a new appointment anymore with them. I was tired of waiting and being cancelled on each time. I'll look for another doctor who's more professional in dealing with patients. read more

Worst service ever. People were nice enough, but had zero follow through. Talk about feeling like a number. It started with the receptionist asking me to pick up my CT scan from the digital imaging place prior to me coming in because they didn't have time to grab it. Then my visit, again nice enough, but inconclusive because the CT scans that they got weren't good enough quality. Something they should have know prior to me coming in. Then I was told that he would get a better version of the CT scan and call me with some recommendations/next steps which he didn't. The dr also said I had a deviated septum (unrelated to the visit) which he prescribed me something for that wasn't ever called into my pharmacy, which I went to and they said sorry no one called it in. Then a couple weeks later, again after not hearing back from him, I called again. They made a recommendation to see another specialist, which was fine. They also asked me to call that specialist in a couple days so they could fax over all of the necessary documents. I called the new specialist and shocker, nothing had been sent over. They had to contact dr Jackson's office to have them send over the info. Long story short, skip your visit there and find a different dr. They need to get their act together. And this whole process , which could have taken a week took almost two months to get nowhere. read more
