Came as I had seen the ratings on yelp due to sleeping/breathing issues. I initially came in got checked up, Doctor Torchinsky was knowledgeable and helpful and asked me to try a routine before resorting to surgery. Tried the regimen for a month and came in again and was again told to try the regimen after issues continued. After that second month I decided surgery was probably the best route, rather than come in again was told I could just schedule something and this is where the issues started. Instead of me explaining - I attached a screenshot of the conversation and the lack of effort by the front office/admin of the office. Obviously due to COVID things got postponed but I had been in contact well before w/ constant reminders - 0 followups, no efforts to reaching out to schedule anything.

Front desk. Signage for check-in and patient portal.

I went to Torchinsky and asked for a diagnosis and prognosis because my previous ENT was unhelpful and abrupt.

Not only is there no appt for today, but I'm not in the system at all. She was unapologetic and just told me that Dr. Miya is out with Covid anyway. If there is this sort of incompetence for a new patient, imagine what it's like for the established patients! Your office staff could use an evaluation, Dr. Miya. They're costing you business and making your office look really bad. If anyone in this office cares (which I highly doubt), the call and appointment were made on Wednesday May 3rd at 11:30 AM. More than a month wasted, waiting to see Dr. Miya.

At the time I asked him about this and he said that the blocked sinuses could be addressed with another additional surgery. It appears to me that the reason he suggested a second surgery is to increase his office income. It was a very painful uncomfortable surgery. Furthermore, the medical assistants, billing and office management professionals are classy, kind, thoughtful, understanding, caring, and frankly fun communicating with and getting to visit them. In finishing up this review, let me say that actions speak more loudly than words. During the consultation, she did a diagnostic endoscope. Everything seemed straightforward until I got the bill. The endoscope cost $3,000 and was higher than at other locations because this building is new. I called the billing department to discuss this and was told that there was nothing they would do. I was never told that the endoscope was not part of the consultation and when I brought this up to the billing office, they told me that I should have called my insurance to get an estimate before the procedure. tl;dr - Dr. Gilani herself is great, but you will get charged more because she works in a nice new building. And make sure you don't agree to anything other than a conversation without getting an estimate first.

She said they had a backlog of 5,000 uprocessed referrals. I can't even fathom what this would mean my healthcare needs were dire. - My PCP turned off my ability to message her after one message. - Recently I showed up for a dermatology appointment and, after disrobing and waiting, I was told I couldn't be seen that day because I had an endocrinology appointment earlier that day, completely wasting hours of my time. Yet it was someone within Perlman Clinic who had booked both appointments for me. - They have ZERO holistic options. The ONLY PCP I could find with a holistic (ie TRULY "integrative") background was fully booked out with no option for a waitlist. - The first PCP I tried with them, when I asked her "do you trust me to know my own body" looked me straight in the eye and, deadpan, said "No." Then she proceeded to get very agitated. - A recent referral was denied by my insurance and they claimed they had no interest in disputing it. - A doctor I waited a month to get in to see cancelled two hours before with no reason or apology, and bumped me right to the back of the line again, forcing me to wait another month to see her. - The endocrinologist I've been working with clearly has zero real knowledge. My research and conversation with functional doctors has shown me that if I flat out listened to her, it could be dangerous for my health. - My insurance denied thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of claims because they were incorrectly submitted. - The clinics emulate complete lack of health. Everyone who works there looks and feels so unhappy and unhealthy. I have trouble understanding how these are the people we should be counting on for our health? - As if this list weren't long enough, there's so much more beyond this - all WAY too long to list here. Update: After posting this review, I received a phone call from someone who pretended to care. But it was crystal clear in their speech that they cared ZERO. Every time I have expressed concern I've been met with inauthentic, canned speech (poorly) designed to suppress people.

The sub par trend continued when I met Dr Allen. He seamed uninterested and mostly annoyed that he was talking with me. After 7 days and not hearing from them I called them only to get a voice mail box to leave a message. The next day I get a call back to say they used the wrong form to send the test in and they have to redo it can I come back. I was there in 2 hours to see the same sloppy guy behind the counter. I was told to go pee in a cup again. This time when I put the cup back in receptacle, there was another patients full cup still in there waiting to be received. GROSS. Once again a week and half later I have not heard from them. I called and was forced to leave a message again, two days has gone by and I still have not heard back from them. I am unimpressed, and have no confidence in the doctor or his staff. I will not be going back nor will I recommend them to anyone else.
