Walking in here makes me happy. A great variety of plants, gardening supplies for folks at all skill levels, and decor nicely displayed and at reasonable prices. The staff is also very friendly and helpful, and even helped me to my car. I will return! read more

My wife and I worked with Dawn on our wedding flowers, and we could not have been more happy to have her help! She was so receptive and supportive of the vision, and the result was beautiful. If I had more stars to give... I would! read more

I arranged a floral delivery over the phone. The gentleman was incredibly nice. Super patient. Even went to check to find what I was asking for. They were very nice about adding a custom bow to arrangement. The delivery was great. Driver called when they had a problem but promptly went right back. The arrangement itself was GORGEOUS. the recipient loved it. read more

Jackson Florist - "Designer choice" flowers for a friend that just had surgery - Florists Near Me - Covington, Kentucky

High quality healthy plants sold here. Every purchase I've made here have needed minimal care was I've got them planted in the ground. Unlike some big box stores that sell plants and trees that may require additional supplements to help them grow. read more

Love love love their greenhouse. Well worth the price. I have been going here with my mother & grandmother since I was a small child.

Ordered flowers for the first time from Jackson after a friend started a new job. They even had a "new job" option when personalizing your card messaging, which was nice. They're a local floral boutique with competitive pricing & affordable delivery -- a major selling point for me. The online ordering process was quick and easy and they had a TON of selection. They allow you to choose not only the date of delivery, but a delivery timeframe window as well. The flowers turned out even more lovely than what was pictured on their website. I was very impressed! read more

Helpful to customers. Their inventory is top notch. Flowers and plants well taken care of

I received a flower delivery from here. The flowers were beautiful, so pretty! The issue is that they reeked like cigarette smoke. I mean the delivery driver must have chain smoked all day while delivering flowers. It's too bad that they look so pretty and smell so bad. I would recommend skipping delivery and just pick up your flowers. read more

They delivered on short notice. Tried to tip big and they declined. 5 stars! Best store

Superfriendly staff and a great selection of houseplants. Love stopping by and seeing what they have, if you're anything like me and have indecisiveness be prepared to have a hard time making your final selections! read more

I've been coming to this like forever, I should have wrote a review so many visits ago, but I was just to busy enjoying taking care of the plants I always buy from this nursery. It's a family owned business, every visit was always a pleasant experience. The nursery always have a very appealing- gorgeous seasonal display at the front of the store. I highly recommend this place place. It has everything you need for your landscaping and gardening needs. I found plants there that's hard to find in our area, prices are very reasonable, and the quality is always excellent due to the fact that my plants always thrive after I bring them home. I need to mention that the staff are available to help the costumers, very friendly, helpful and attentive at all time. read more

Placed a last minute order over the phone with Angie and she was so sweet and understanding. The selection of flowers to pick from is amazing and great deal for what you get! read more

Nice selection of plants but extremely overpriced. You can find the same plants at a third of the prices at any other independent nursery nearby. After seeing a $100 tiny, bare bones basket of a string of pearls (perhaps they were variegated? Still...) recently, I can't imagine I'll ever return. I understand some plants are trendy/rare but that's just unreasonably marked up. It isn't a hipster little plant shop in downtown or anything, so I find their prices to be honestly just really unexpected and disappointing. read more

Ordered flowers for a friend who had a death in their family. It was a tele-floral item and we ordered the top tier from Jackson. What we got was the lowest tier for the top tier price. Really disappointed in how this was handled by Jackson florist. Can't count on them to provide the item you ordered at the price you ordered it. read more

Went to Jackson Florist for the first time the other day and I will definitely be back. The owner (I think he was the owner) was SO knowledgeable and kind, (as were the other staff members I interacted with). He made sure I knew everything I needed for my new lemon tree and Venus fly trap. Heavy duty pots are available at great prices that can't be beat elsewhere. And (!) everyone was masked up and respectful of space. 10/10 would recommend! read more

We bought a larger houseplant and planned on placing it on hold until we could pick it up, and this company offered to deliver it for free, immediately after leaving the shop, and included a bag of additional soil. Prices are also very reasonable. read more

Cute little flower shop with tons of great selection! I have found some really cute tillandsias, succulents, and cacti here! They have tons of supplies needed for growing all sorts of plants. My go to shop for all my floral and gardening needs. Sometimes they have great sales also! They recently had a penny sale, but I showed up after all the flowers had been picked through. But generally, they're reasonably priced in comparison to Lowe's and Walmart. read more

OK. I would have to agree with other reviewers: the selection at Jackson is good. The business itself is actually larger than it looks like from the street, and we've gone here for some years to shop for 'outdoor decorating' and it's convenient for those who live in TheCOV, Ft Wright, Taylor Mill, etc. Basically, this is our Neighborhood florist. Unfortunately, as my nickname implies - it's mostly about the service for me, and we have kids (family-friendly is important). We like to take our children places so they can be with us and experience what we do in life (you know, school of real-life). Our experience was not-so-great in the service department: it started with a certain bird-bath that was set right next to an aisle-way. As my kids were looking at a water fountain, we heard a *crash* and rounded the corner to find that our 2 year old had broken the top of said birdbath. So, there is frustration number one: they are not mindful of children when setting their displays (or adults? Seriously, I probably could have hit it with a cart.) OK, I'll settle down to avoid a Yelp-rant. My second frustration is that the service from the office staff is pretty cold. Obviously, in this situation (broken birdbath dish), they weren't any more receptive to our business than in times past. They grabbed the larger pieces of broken dish, and asked "can we ring that up for you?" We paid for the birdbath (it not cheap) - which makes sense! I get it, we broke it! But that was it. From what we could pick up, one of the employees that helped us was new - but there should have been some good support for this new employee, IMO. We're going to find a place that keeps in mind the read more

Don't let the name of this business fool you. It is also a full-service garden center. I was impressed with the selection of annuals and gardening supplies. Tina helped me pick out some wonderful flowers for a window box. She knew just which colors and flowers would be both pleasing to the eye and practical from a maintenance perspective. If you like supporting local establishments, visiting Jackson will fit the bill. read more

I have been a customer of Jackson Florist for years. I have ordered many arrangements for weddings, birthdays, births and funerals. I recently ordered an arrangement for my granddaughter's 7th birthday. The flower's were delivered and my daughter sent me a picture of the arrangement. The arrangement didn't look like what I ordered, so I called them and decided to go in and show them the picture. Before I got there they had already resolved the issue and was extremely apologetic. The ladies treated me very nicely during the resolution process. Thank you Jackson Florist for being such a welcoming business establishment and resolving my issue in an honorable timely fashion. Thanks again and as always I will be back! read more

We used Jackson Florist, Inc to do our daughter's flowers for her wedding and reception this past weekend and Trisha Arlinghaus did a phenomenal job! Every detail was perfect and the quality of the flowers and her talent was exquisite! I'm just sorry I don't live in this area, because I would be first in line to use them as my personal florist. We couldn't have been happier with the service we received. A huge thank you to them! read more

My family has shopped here for more than 15 years...but no more. We recently phoned Jackson to inquire about delivery of a mulch order we placed the week earlier. The general manager was extremely rude offering only a litany of excuses about the delay. In essence, he was making his problem, our problem. GM:" What do you want me do, bud?" Response: Order cancelled! read more
