Was told by a few too totally avoid the dealer, but found BC Diesel near by. It was refreshing to deal with an honest, friendly upfront mechanic. Almost like like I never left. I dropped off my vehicle and they checked the alignment all over and recommended that I get all 4 done since it was off. When I have needed any parts they have either had them or located them for me. I was in there today to get a used tire and they not only sold it to me at a great price but also removed the corrosion on my rim and the used tire on the repaired rim for only a $5 fee. I have used many junk yards over the years, but this is my go to yard in this area. They not only have almost every part I need, but also offer excellent customer service.

Right now all auto repair shops are short on mechanics due to covid. The previous (won't mention) auto repair center wanted to replace the catalytic converter and quoted almost two weeks to do the job. Double E found the problem to be just a simple fuse, and was able to fix the car within a few days of making a reservation. Honesty and Integrity are a great find, and we are glad we were recommended to go to Double E.

I immediately took it back they looked at it again, this time they told me there was a crack in the valve cover itself. Why they didn't catch that the first time I don't know. So they put new valve covers on. They charged me $700.00 labor both times, first to change the valve cover gasket then the second time to replace the valve cover. They should have replaced the cracked valve cover the first time when they replaced the gasket. I felt they should have discounted some of the labor on my second trip there. I didn't expect them to do it for free, but to charge me $700.00 both times was ridiculous. I will never go back there and I would not recommend this place to anyone.
