BUYER BEWARE. The car we bought had a parasitic electrical drain that was not disclosed upon purchase. The car's battery would drain if left sitting longer than 24 hours. Jackson Auto East did a good job of pretending to be concerned, and doing nothing. I took the car to another mechanic who discovered the source of the electrical drain. Jackson Auto East suggested that I somehow did something to the car to cause this to happen. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau. Rather than address the specific issues I raised, they just kept denying responsibility. I spent an additional $2800 to get the car in running order. These guys are great! After a previous bad experience elsewhere buying a used car several years ago, I was skeptical of using a private used auto sale place. However, these guys really listened to what my needs and wants were and we talked at length about several options for me and my family. Sad that such unprofessional people work at this location. Jon "JR" Raunch became irate and disrespected me for expressing my concerns which I did in a calm matter. I looked passed the disrespect and calmly told him the issues and he kept saying it was our fault, we hit a pothole or something (which is wrong). The vehicle we bought which was about 3 weeks ago drove fine until we started hearing a knocking noise when turning or going over bumps and it started out going in and out(inconsistently) but now it's constant(even when stationary). Now if it was our fault I'd understand but this is a fresh car off the lot there shouldn't be any underlying issues on it. Also the vehicle is past service for an oil change when the car is fresh off the lot. How do you sell a car that needs an oil change and has defects. Legal actions will taken if the issue isn't resolved. My advice is to stay away from this dealer. They are rude and don't care about you. What surprised me is when he became irate. That's how you can tell something isn't right with this business or this sales person(Jon Rauch). Seems very suspicious. P.S. the inspection they gave my father said everything was good to go. I had the WORST experience at Jackson auto east. I worked with Gary who I highly recommend to stay away from along with the company. I waited for months for these crooks to "help me" Gary is a complete flake. He was creep and would email and text me at 4am asking me things he had information from me months ago. They didn't give a shit to help me. He ignored my calls and lied constantly like the crook that he is. I went into the dealership and he was a flake and completely unprofessional. HOWEVER I had the most amazing experience at Jeff Belzer Lakeville. I felt heard, cared for and supported. Donovan was amazing. We bought our car from Jackson Auto. We planned to car shop all day, but Jackson Auto was our first and last stop. We were lucky to work with the owners John and Peggy. They were patient with us and answered all of our questions. They have a great relationship with the banks and credit unions. They are able to get the best rates without creating multiple inquiries on your credit. Gary was able to get an even lower interest rate for us than we expected. Since we took the car home the same day, Leonard took it for a quick wash and even filled up the gas for us. Buying a used car is always risky, but they offered us a great coverage plan that will take car of any major problems with the car. The process was smooth and easy.
