Once entering the business location for Jack's Family Restaurant by the staff and management I proceeded to order my order in which was the three piece catfish with biscuit and fries with no drink since I already had my drink. How did the catfish, fries and biscuit taste? They all tasted really fresh and just made out of the oven. I recommend this to anyone. There is plenty of seating inside of the location and plenty of parking on the outside and drive thru ordering with overhang. Do I recommend Jack's to anyone that is looking for catfish to order? Terrible, On Wednesdays me and my friends make it to Jacks for coffee and some talk, the past few times the food has been terrible, the biscuits are dry as if made with sand and NO coffee, why is it at 8am there is NO coffee, and when they finally have some coffee made its Luke warm, or cold, This is not a good place to meet at or Eat at, stay away from Jacks in Warner Robins, Spend your money somewhere else were the food is good and the service is better. read more

My wife and I were a little skeptical about the food we were going to get as we had eaten sausage biscuits here once before and the biscuit literally fell apart. Went in and ordered two, 2-piece Southern Fried Chicken dinners that included 2 sides, a biscuit and a drink. The chicken was very good, and the coleslaw is probably the best in Warner Robins. The potatoes had plenty of gravy on them and we dipped our biscuit in the gravy, and it was delicious. We saved quite of money and probably will shy away from their competitor on Lake Joy, who I suspect have raised prices since Popeye's have closed. Folks, there is an alternative and Jack's is the place to go. read more

From the flavor of the biscuits to the smell of the safeguard soap if your like me this place will make you nostalgic for sweet home Alabama! I walked in this Saturday and was impressed by the cozy and clean adornments in the dinning room. The fireplace was a nice touch and everything seemed new and well taken care of in the dinning room. I tried a large assortment of food on my visit---everything I tried was on point and excellent tasting. The two piece chicken was juicy, crunchy, and flavorful! Gravy on the mashed potatoes had a deep flavor that I appreciated. Their biscuits could go up against any other chicken joint and easily win. The crinkle cut fries are the best I've ever had. Not over done and tasted of potatoes not of oil. Not sure how they did it but they managed to create the perfect crinkle cut fry that is neither soggy or burnt. Well done on your chicken platter Jack's. I also tried the double cheeseburger and the fries bologna sandwich. The cheeseburger was good also cooked perfectly with a nice soft bun to hold it all together. Fries bologna had high quality meat and two thick slices of bologna. The brand of bologna they used was not overly spiced or salty. It was meaty but I would have preferred a little more of that bologna spice. I want to go back to try their chicken fingers and shakes which look delicious! The service: A manager came over and refilled my mellow yellow when the employees abandoned the counter. I was glad the manager interrupted her interview (she was doing an employment interview at the time) to refill my drink because it shows the restaurant cares about customer satisfaction and is paying attention to its clientele. Unfortunately, everyone else who worked here seemed unhappy, unenthusiastic, and moved at a slow pace. I'm not sure why the employees don't enjoy working here but it gives off a bad impression and slows down service. Cleanliness: The bathroom and dinning room I found to be very clean and I was satisfied. The kitchen and ordering area do not seem clean at all. All of the food equipment looked like it hadn't been cleaned well in a couple years. Overall, I hate to see this place with such a bad ranking. Jack's food was fantastic tonight. Me and my wife were very satisfied with our dinner. The hamburgers were hot and juicy and the buns seem to be soft. My chicken was crunchy and delicious! My wife's biscuit was so good and hot. Hands down to this establishment because we enjoyed every bite of it. We will return for dinner again. The service was great. The employee pulled us around because she could not hardly hear of the intercom. She was very understanding and nice. On the road to see family for Easter, and we decided to make a quick stop for breakfast. Well, it was anything but quick. 2 of the employees we dealt with were rude and dismissive. As we were ordering one of the employees turned the breakfast menus around so that we couldn't see them. It was only 10:30, and they advertise breakfast until 11:00. When we said something he simply ignored us. After we paid, We sat and waited just past the window for our food for over 30 minutes. One of the employees then walked out with another customer's order, saw us, and mentioned that she forgot about us and that our food was ready and that she would go grab it. read more

Worth trying! So I have never been to any locations of this franchise before. First impression was clean, full view of the kitchen, professional staff hustling to get orders out. My son and I tried the Bigger Jack. Apparently it's their largest burger. It had three very thin sliced patties. Not too greasy and no options for level of cooking. Very reminiscent of steak and shake burgers. I will say they were very filling. Not the 20 minutes and you are hungry like bk. Fries are unseasoned crinkle fries. They were okay. ColeSlaw was very different. Very creamy. Was impressed. But we also tried the chicken fingers that were on special. Incredibly moist. Worth the visit on their own. Will return to try other chicken dishes and breakfast. We went off peak. Maybe 1330 hrs. We had a couple, and a family of five ahead of us. Probably out the door in fifteen minutes. No matter what you order, you're going to have to pull up and wait 20 minutes. I ordered just a milkshake one time and not only had to pull up and wait 10 minuets for the shake but, I also got served the worst milkshake of my life. It felt like it was coagulated and expired so when I got home I threw it away immediately. I normally don't write bad reviews on a restaurant because I understand how normal it is for a fast food place to mess up every now and then so I waited to go back to jacks for a few months. I got tired of everything else around town and thought to myself "let's give jacks one more chance" the burger I ordered was the equivalent to the nasty patty from SpongeBob. Found the receipt for this purchase. Visit was 26 Aug 2024 at 5:56 PM. So about 2 weeks ago, my husband wanted some fried chicken.  Since we hadn't tried Jack's yet I looked up their menu and saw where they had 8 pc & 12 pc chicken boxes with biscuits.  I said go ahead and get a 12 pc box with fries & coleslaw. When he got back home he said he got the 8 pc box cause it would've taken another 20 minutes for the chicken for a 12 pc box, but had enough for an 8 pc box, he didn't want to wait on the 12 pc. I started getting everything out of the bags and the chicken, biscuits and fries were either way overcooked or sat under a heat lamp for too long. The skin on the chicken was dark and hard with hardly any taste, the fries were dark and the biscuits were so hard you could've played baseball with them, they were inedible and the slaw was warm. It's not like we waited until 5 minutes before closing, this was around 6:00 PM on a weeknight.  Sorry, but this was our first and last time at Jack's. I'll keep buying my fried chicken from Publix. read more

Waited 25 minutes for a basic combo. Had to go ask for it--they acted surprised, but did apologize. The only thing giving it two stars instead of one was the fries, which were fresh & hot. The patty "melt" was on squishy bread--not toasty at all. The cashier was trying, but obviously needed waaay more training. She couldn't complete a single transaction the whole time without someone else stepping in. Cash? Needed help. Coupon? Needed help. Add an additional side to a combo? Needed help. Food was moderately ok but on a slow Sunday morning we had to wait 30+ minutes for it. We had to make corrections twice to the food order and had to ask them 3 times to make our coffees. When they finally decided to make our drinks it appeared they had to figure out how to use the machine. The iced mocha which took about 45 mins to get tasted like pure syrup. We ordered the Online Exclusive Price - Family Big Box with 10 pieces of fried chicken, 2 large sides and 5 biscuits for $22.50. We also ordered 2 extra sides. We ordered the mashed potatoes and gravy and coleslaw and 2 large drinks. We went straight there after ordering and went to the drive through. By the time we drove up, they were handing our food and drinks out of the window to us. Everything went smoothly and easy from ordering online to receiving our food. The food was so tasty! Best chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy and biscuits I've ever had from a fast food restaurant and you can't beat the price! Very reasonable!
