I really enjoy eating at this restaurant, but the quality control needs to be improved. This experience has made me not want to eat here anymore. Updating my review from 4 stars to 5! I've come here twice in the last two weeks and have been very pleased with the service. The long line went down quick, staff was friendly and courteous, and the food came out fast! I also am happy to see this restaurant is making social distancing and cleanliness a priority among COVID 19 and keeping their patio open. I'll be back soon! :) My husband and I tried this place out and each ordered two salads. Both were delicious and a great portion for the price! The ingredients tasted fresh and plate presentation was appealing. My only critique is customer service was just okay, and we got our food brought out to our table at different times instead of together. I have ordered here several times before to go and was not disappointed. I ordered the Blackened Salmon Cobb Salad which was flavorful and I thought the salmon was cooked well. Another salad I got was the Santa Fe Chicken Salad which tasted good. Also, a must order is the Urban Fries which has spicy chili oil, blue cheese dressing and chili flakes in it. This is not spicy. The flavors mix very well together and I usually like fries w/ ketchup but with this, you do not need it. Lastly, I got the Spicy Buffalo Sandwich which had a good kick. The Chicken Breast is lovely. I recently dined in for the first time on a Saturday before 6pm and the place was packed however there were still a few seats available. There is also outdoor seating. You place your order at the register and they give you a table number and serve your food to you. The food came out at a decent time. On this visit, we ordered the BBQ Tri-Tip Sandwich w/ Regular Fries. The meat was tender. They give a lot of fries which tasted ok. This also comes with a Chipotle Mango BBQ Sauce which to me only tasted like plain BBQ sauce. I prefer getting the Spicy Buffalo Sandwich over this one. We also ordered the Tri-Tip Plate w/ Market Veggies & Mashed Potatoes w/ Gravy. They give 3 slices of meat. The veggies were delish and the potatoes were fine. I haven't been to a Jack's in a long time. I was waiting to be acknowledged at where I remembered ordering from at the salad bar but an employee told me if I was ready to order go to the cash register. (Like I said it had been a long time since I've been here I didn't know the process changed.) When I got home to eat, I noticed two whole buffalo chicken strips. We were over in The Fountains Mall to take our grandson on the cute little train. We got hungry and decided to have lunch here. It was delicious. You order at the counter and they bring you your food to the table. Although it was super busy the food came out very quickly but it does come out one dish at a time. 4 of us all had different menu items and all were delicious. The only complaints I have was that the delicious garlic fries did not come out hot but they were good otherwise. They also give you plenty of food. The parking is the only hard thing about this place as this mall is super busy but we'll worth it. read more

We ended up here after finding the restaurant we were going to closed :( and were quite surprised for a first time visit. The inside is self seating and you walk up to order. I was a little unimpressed with the menu as most things are just sandwiches and salads. We ordered the BBQ Chicken $9.95 with a side salad and garlic fries. Most of the stars are for the sandwich, we were so impressed with how good the chicken, onion rings and BBQ sauce toppings. If I could give zero stars I would. Came to eat with my son and fiancé and after ordering our meal and handing over cash they were running our money to check if it was real or not ?? One of the 20's we had was a little older and was not being run through the machine correctly by manager Hailey Hampton - making it unable to pass, as I was trying to explain to the manager Hailey Hampton that it has to be there machine that is not working - as the credit card machine had just failed my card and that I believe she was running the money through the machine improperly , she proceeded to ask for a different bill, at this point all we had were hundreds , she ran that through and said well this one worked in the most disgusting rude and just profiling tone. I told her well that's an insult. Mind you their machine was originally not working for me to place my credit card so my fiancé had to give cash, and this was our treatment when doing so. Then she started to get our change from the 100 bill we gave her all while avoiding to look me in my eyes and began yelling at one of the employees to get change out of the drawer because now they did not even have enough change to give us from our 100, it was just absolutely unacceptable the way she handles her employees in front of customers and the situation as a manager. I believe she has NO IDEA what she was doing, and definitely should not have that management position. She completely profiled us, has horrible customer service, and clearly dislikes her job. My fiancé and I completely lost our appetite before our meal, and did not even enjoy our meal. I will not be back to jacks because of there lack of customer service and completely unprofessional management and well as being profiled by Hailey Hampton as a manager. I definitely did not see her checking any other customers money. When you go somewhere to eat , you go for great service and of course food that you enjoy. Jacks will lack this so long as they keep Hailey Hampton as their management. This will happen again and again. Hailey Hampton has no customer service, profiles, dislikes her job, is extreme rude and has no clue what she is doing or how to manage, they should definitely hire someone else who likes their job to manage. Never had this issue at any other jacks and I was a loyal loehmans plaza jacks customer as well as midtown. 45 minutes for a preorder meal of a salad and 2 sandwiches. I cannot understand why this is so hard. No, it was not that busy in there, no the place was not packed, no there Were plenty of people working at the time. All they could say was "sorry about the wait" and gave me the food. I had to get her attention to say "can I please have 2 ranch and a bbq sauce?" Also you have to choose to tip them before the actual service takes place so each time I feel stupid for leaving any kind of tip for shitty service and food that takes way too long. I'm usually very happy with the food here, a great alternative for a healthier option. With being newly "at home" workers we have utilized door dash for delivery from Jack's a few times. My husband always gets the Achiote bowl and I get a steak salad. We received our order quickly from Door Dash. However, as soon as we opened our order we knew something was wrong. My salad had very little meat and cheese and my husbands bowl had almost no cheese, and there was no quinoa or chick peas. We called Jacks and were told that we would have to get the Door Dash Driver to come pick up our order to return to the restaurant to have a new order made. Not even sure how we could get the driver back or why we should have to go through all the work to get the item correctly made that we paid for? Frustrated with this particular location lately. I hate corn so when I door Dash I specifically ask for No corn. So I've ordered the tri-tip and I asked for double vegetables. They no longer allow you to specify under special instructions to reiterate so today I get a plate full of corn with a couple of pieces of tri-tip thrown in the center. $57 for my order, so I'm frustrated and I call and I get the same rude young woman who I spoke to last time my order was not right. She wanted to fight with me telling me that the corn is the market vegetable even though I have ordered this 10 times before In the market vegetables are vegetables. We went here to support my daughter's school and when I ordered the cashier told me they were all out of chicken strips. While I was waiting for my order I was seeing chicken strips leaving the kitchen with almost every order. Then when I got home both of our orders didn't have the fries that went with them and we were charged extra for french fries that should had come with our order.
