I'm not sure why Jack's quality of food has gone downhill in the last few years. This is some of the lettuce in my salad.

This is some of the lettuce in my Chinese chicken salad today. Jack's quality is going downhill! I've ordered this salad several times and either the lettuce is yucky or the oranges taste on the verge of fermenting.

I've been to this location a couple of times and the service and food has been on point. Today I ordered the Superfood Salad and the Jacks Urban Fries well done. The Salad tasted fresh and I like how they gave me half an avocado! This salad could be served as an entree or split between 2-3 people. The fries also tasted great! Fresh and hot! Overall I would recommend this place. I came on a Sunday lunch and it was busy, yet the service was fast!

I had the Chinese Chicken salad. The plumb vinaigrette is weak and the specialty salad place doesn't have miso. The salad was fresh, service was prompt. Just weak on their salad dressing choices.

I enjoy visiting jack's for a quick & simple salad, and it's been a go to spot on my list for years now. +Build Your Own Salads which comes with greens of choice, 6 toppings, 2 dressings, & optional protein. For a standard rate of about $13 plus protein price ($3-6) is a little steep but they do give a generous amount of toppings. I can usually get 1.5-2 meals out of it, but I have definitely noticed they skimped the past few visits. +A must order are the urban fries!!!!!!!!!!!!! Crispy thin fries covered with red pepper flakes, chili oil, & blue cheese. $5-7 depending on size. It's so creamy and tasty with a hint of spice, highly recommend. +spicy buffalo sandiwxh $14 was unimpressive. Bread was dry and not enough sauce. Would not opt for it As for the location itself, huuuuge parking lot shared with other complexes. Service is friendly and fast. They got my salad dressing incorrect and offered to remake the whole thing. Not the cleanest Jack's I've been too but they tend to be pretty busy so can't blame them

Yummy for my large tummy. Lol

Always a pleasure to eat well prepared food. The staff is genuinely very friendly, and the restaurant is clean.

Came here for the first time for dinner. The experience was ok, open and bright, good selection of items...they are a little on the higher end for a semi-fast food/ self-serve eatery. We ordered four things: 1. Reuben sandwich 2. Mac n cheese 3. Chicken sandwich 4. Potato salad 5. His beer The food except for 1 was tasty especially my chicken sandwich. However, the Mac and cheese was dry and bland. Also customer service was ok, some of the staff looked busy and unavailable. Lastly, (bc I believe every sandwich should have mustard), they actually don't carry regular or spicy mustard. They have several sandwiches on the menu but don't have condiments...one employee said they have honey mustard only. The place looked somewhat clean except got several flies inside the restaurant buzzzzzzing around. Maybe getting some insect repellent for the inside would help. Ample parking space out front and different juices available. Overall, I'd try this again maybe at another location too.

    Salmon plate

My wife and I had dinner at this location. She had the turkey plate and I had the salmon. Both were excellent both in taste, quality, and value. We dined in close to closing. They ran out of balsamic vegetables and quickly made up a batch. Excellent service! We'll be back to try some other items.

Tri tip plate. $16.25 (pic is minus a small side salad). Ordered medium rare; came over well. Their app asks for a temp on meat btw.
    krista h.

If you don't care how your meat is cooked, this is the place for you! I used to love their salads. With that being said... Ordered the tri tip plate and 2 steak salads for pickup. Tri tip plate: $16.25. Online ordering app asked how I'd like the meat done; I selected medium rare hoping that if there were leftovers we could reheat them and still be delicious. They arrived completely well done. They were slightly tough. Fries are... well fries (especially after a 20 min drive back home in a container on my front seat). Salad was nice. I wouldn't order again. Steak salad: $13.75 (+$.75 for artichoke hearts each): To be fair the salad doesn't give you a choice on steak temperature, so I was prepared for the layman's version with jerky bits. It was exactly the same as the meat mentioned above (well done). I was ok with the salad; my mom was disappointed. The quantity of artichokes was sufficient (maybe 6). If work is paying for lunch I might order again, otherwise I'd pass. Also, this location does NOT offer curbside pickup, but there is a parking lot. Receipt pic added for proof. :-)

Salmon portion compared to what I got.
    Jamica A.

I haven't been here in over about 2 years, but the blackened salmon salad is the only thing that I've ever ordered. What I do remember that the salmon portion looked more like website photo, than what I received today. Kind of a rip off in my opinion. Don't think I'll be back because it's not really worth the price anymore.

I expected more mint flavor from a dish with mint in the name. All in all, no dish was bad, but was not really impressed by anything either. Service was good. Pretty good portions. Not somewhere I'd go out of my way for personally. However, with so many five stars reviews, definitely think you should give Burma Light a try if you're thinking about it!

The food is consistently amazing and packed with flavor. The tea leaf salad is a must. Super fresh, crunchy, and unlike anything else around here. The basil chili lamb brings the perfect balance of heat and flavor, and the eggplant is cooked perfectly every time. The sesame chicken is crispy and flavorful. It and the coconut rice balanced the spiciness of the lamb and eggplant perfectly. My wife likes to wash it down with a blue moon. I believe the traditional Burmese beer is similar. Everything I've had here has been solid, and you can tell they actually care about the quality of their food. If you're looking for something different from the usual spots in Folsom, definitely give Burma Lite a try. You won't regret it.

I have eaten here about 5 times so far. Things I observed. Pros - The food is good. Mostly Thai inspired but there is sometimes a variety. Every time things have tasted great. - They accept cash, credit, Apple pay, and even member direct billing to account. - In addition to cooked food there is a good variety of snacks, drinks, and quick bites. - The smoothies are very good. - Friday afternoons in the summer they have a happy hour with cheaper food and alcoholic drinks available. - There are some tables next to the cafe as well as outside to site and enjoy your meal. Cons - Menu isn't always consist. Sometimes there is a sign with the "typical" menu and sometimes you have to stand in line and ask what they have to find out. Of the 5 times I've ordered there have been changes to the menu every time. Either they were missing items or they decided to only serve a special random set of items. This makes it a bit difficult as a customer to know what is available to order. - The line can get a bit long at times and it's often not very quick to order or get your food. Overall I would recommend trying it out. I would give it 5 stars if there was a bit more consistency with the menu. The food itself though is tasty.

We ordered the roasted wings, the chicken tacos and the Hawaiian bbq plate with the kalbi beef upgrade. The fire roasted wings were cold, saucy and dis not even have one char mark on them to show that they were fire roasted. And they tasted horrible. The chicken tacos were subpar. The same chicken meat from the kids meal. One of the 2 tacos did not even have cheese and they had gotten so soggy that you couldn't even pick it up. The Hawaiian bbq plate was disappointing. Same boiled chicken from the kids meal, 4 pieces of shrimp and small pieces of beef. The 36 dollar price tag on this was a joke. How can you have 4 plates and all 4 were so shitty?
