On the first day I went here just to grab a drink. I was in the mood for beer and asked what local beers they had on tap? They gave me some local beers and that is what I got. On my second visit I got a strawberry margarita and some nachos. Both the Margarita and the Nachos were both pretty darn tasty! I would not expect a place like this to have a great margarita but it sure did. The nachos were also very good as well. The service was great! I really enjoyed our waitress and she made some light conversation and joked with our group a few times. They were all very accommodating! I really enjoyed my time at Crabby Joe's and the next time I am in London (If Ever) I will be stopping by Crabby Joes!

I was overwhelmed with options until I discovered that John Catucci had popped into The Bungalow for an episode of You Gotta Eat Here, because I can't possibly say no to a joint that's received the Catooch seal of approval. We showed up in the early afternoon and the place was crowded but not completely full, which meant we were able to snag a nice booth in the middle of the restaurant. Having watched the segment on You Gotta Eat Here, I felt like I had no choice but to order the Nicky-John Burger ("House Made Lamb Patty, Goat Cheese, Arugula, Roasted Red Pepper, Grilled Onion, Tzatziki, Toasted Sesame Kaiser") and I got that with a bowl of their habanero beer cheese soup. It's a really tasty burger. All the components work really well together and the lamb patty itself is flavorful and very tender, although I will say that the copious goat cheese was occasionally a little overwhelming. A little of that stuff goes a long way. The soup was also quite tasty, and I enjoyed that hint of spice in it, too. It was maybe a little too heavy to eat with a burger, but I think it'd be delicious on its own. I really loved the vibe of The Bungalow. It really feels like a cool, friendly neighborhood restaurant, and I know I'd be there all the time if I lived nearby.

Our Waiter introduced himself and bright drinks But let me say it's Loud here . With all ages including children and daters and students etc I assume many must walk here as it was nearly a full house. The fish and chips were large and crispy and generally good BUT ( you knew it was coming ) The tartar sauce was probably hellmans mayo and the little cup of coke slaw was cold but laden with mayo The fries were awfully brown and random The table has French's ketchup Try it again !

This new Wolfe spot has been open for less than four months. Look for the wolf door knocker! We…read morecouldn't figure out why there was a line out the door and into the cold for Little Bird when CB stood half-empty literally next door. Maybe people haven't cottoned onto it yet; maybe this review will help. It's located in the old Village Harvest bakery; so nice to see a spot that has a sentimental pull for residents now filled. It was sad to see it empty. There's a gym upstairs, should you feel the need to work off whatever nutritional damage you do downstairs. The décor is dark and moody, with oxblood banquettes and booths. Other seating options include the bar and tables. The music is a mix of mid-century standards through Motown with modern tunes thrown in for good measure. Black-and-white photos of Nina Simone, Nat King Cole and Johnny Cash add to the been-here-forever vibe. We popped in for lunch and were lucky enough to get Alannah as our server. She went the extra mile to make sure that I found something that I could eat. Unfortunately, it's a very small menu, and I wasn't much in the mood for animal-protein, so my options were limited. My guest very much enjoyed the Company club ($14); it was a big portion, enough to bring home for another meal. He choose the warm potato salad as as side, priced just right at $4. He tried the Mountain Lager ($6) as well. I had the steak cut fries ($4) and side green salad with herbs ($4). I would order it without the dill next time. I hasten to add that most people could find something that suits here if they don't have my allergies. They have seafood, terrestrial and vegan options. The latter includes inventive dishes such as the pulled tofu sandwich ($11). Wines by the glass start at $12, which is reasonable these days in London. Had I wanted a cocktail, then the white negroni (oxymoronic, I know) looked appealing ($14). They offer selections of tequilas, espressos (espressi?) and whiskeys. We are happy to have this resto in the neighbourhood, and will return soon.

I was so excited that yet another joint was popping up just a short distance from my house. A proper bar any millennial would adore. From Instagram worthy drinks to the dark, vibey decor, this is a REALLY cool spot. We only went in for drinks but the food menu made my mouth water. My boyfriend got the 'Where There's Smoke, There's Fire' which came in a smoke filled bell jar. I've seen this done before so I wasn't blown away by any means, but it is pretty cool, specially if you're doin it for the 'gram. I got the Reign in Blood which was SUPER cool and creative. This blood-red drink arrived in this beautiful chalice-like glass and the salt rim down the side looked like fangs. I felt like a true vampire and I drank that sh** up. Our drinks were great! So what gives? It all came down to service. I'm not sure if our waiter was having a rough go of it or what, but he was Kurt. No...sorry, his name wasn't Kurt...he WAS curt. We tried to joke with him but nothing was landing. He was swift to pull the menu from my hands as we finished ordering. Something about the whole experience was just...off. What could have been a great night out was sadly tainted. Regardless of this experience, I really do encourage you to make a visit to Company Bar. Please, enjoy the delicious libations that await you there. I will definitely be giving this spot another chance...and hopefully Kurt will be more than happy to take our order. :)

You can even see the cooks making the food depending on where they seat you. Food is good but priced a bit on the high side. The burger was great. The noodles were a bit lacking as some pieces were burnt and no matter how much I stirred it around, the flavor was very inconsistent, probably due to the lack of flavorful components. Perhaps if I pointed out the problems they would have tried to fix but at this level I am expecting them to not make these mistakes in the first place.
