If I could give this establishment negative stars, I absolutely would. The other reviews on here are telling enough, and I absolutely will not be returning. No one should find long hair in their drink, let alone on any of their food. That's a LITERAL health code violation. The store manager sleeps with his employees. Assistant managers and currently the breakfast supervisor. He puts profit before customers and his bonus before his employees. If anyone disagrees with him he targets them by putting pressure on that person until they quit or make a mistake large enough to fire them, but refuses to fire an assistant manager for sexual harassment because they're friends and he doesn't want to work extra. He sells old and expired food. He upcharges customers, charging a bone in breast when the older gentleman wanted tenders. There was a 2 week period where there wasn't sanitizer for washing dishes, meaning the dishes weren't cleaned by policy. He breaks and makes his own rules regardless of policy. Such as firing an employee for asking to use the open door policy or screaming at another and threatening employees in front of customers. These have all been brought to up to Thebrons boss's attention at one time or another and nothing has changed. Meaning upper management does not care. Poor food, poor environment, poor leadership, poor management. They constantly smoke and get high throughout their shift. Not just management. read more

Just left with an order of burgers from Jack's. Asked for 2 with everything except dressing. REPEATED, "everything but no mayo, mustard, or ketchup". Got home and both burgers had all 3 dressings, and about a half inch thick. This is the 2nd time they have done this. There won't be a third time. It's located across the street from Lowes and Home Depot off Battlefield Parkway. I have to give it 4 stars because it's in a brand new building and everything is new and clean. Also, everyone was friendly including the customers. As soon as I got out of the car a customer spoke to me and started talking about the weather and so forth. Then, I walked in and the staff was friendly as they spoke to me too. As I sit inside to write this review, there is a tv in here and it's on Fox News and of course President Trump is on. Anyway, they have free WiFi in here and it's signal is pretty strong and easy to connect to. Menu items ordered: I got a special that was advertised on their window for $3.69. It was the fish sandwich and a side. But, it does not come with a drink. So altogether, my lunch was $5.44. That's a pretty good deal. My lunch tasted great and enjoyed visiting the restaurant. In summary, I noticed there was even a staff member walking around cleaning tables and asking customers if they need anything. She even came by and picked up after I was through. read more

So I go in at 1035am to get breakfast and the line was very long and one guy says he has been waiting over 30 mins. The staff was more interested in talking to each other than actually working. After standing there for 25 minutes the cook screams no more breakfast. The manager says you better tell these people standing in line and she replies "I don't care". They have taken a decent little fast food restaurant and destroyed it. Breakfast is a crap shoot. About 50% of the time the item is ot good or put together badly. Sausage biscuit with half a patty of sausage. Bacon biscuit all in pieces couldn't pick it up. Today biscuit and gravy with two bottom pieces to hard to eat. I did an online order at 11am and put to pick up at 1:30 and the staff made my food at 11 am it sat there for two and 30 minutes it was cold the order was wrong and the ice was melted and the shake was watery I asked the staff worker to remake the sweet tea and she got mad and I asked her to remake the shake and she got a very bad attitude and slammed the shake mixer so hard into the cup she busted a hole in the Bottom of the cup the sweet tea she remade was unsweetened and she shoved the drinks into a cup holder and when I got back to work with my cold food and unsweetened tea and milkshake she put a hole in the bottom when I took it out of the cup holder it busted the rest and f the way out and went everywhere the two women there need to be fired they are very rude and disgusting watch your cameras and see how your staff was s treating people.... I decided to try this location again to see if they have improved since my last visit 7 months ago. To my dismay, they have gotten worse. This visit I was shocked to see only a handful of workers wearing face masks. The chicken was fried hard as a rock and was super dry. Coleslaw was runny but was tasty. Portion size of mashed potatoes and gray was half of what it was 7 months ago. The fried pies and French fries were good. I would not recommend this particular location but I have had really great food at the Hixson location. read more

The employees are consistently angry and rude. I get breakfast and generally the the time I get home, the plate that they have thrown in a bag has caused all of the food to be in a big pile in a corner of the plate. I usually have gravy dripping out of the closed plate like today. If you have dirty employees that are rude to customers, are we supposed to think the food is good? read more

Just want to order a butter biscuit am so sick to my stomach after taking round of chemo and the lady seriously couldn't wait in me because obviously out of laziness said they only had one grill ready but A BUTTER biscuit is all I needed and she said "yea the biscuits are ready" but can't take your order bc they were behind. I went in today for my first time eating at Jack's. I was extremely impressed with the friendlystaff and how clean this restaurant was. Floors and counter were very clean and neat. Food was fresh and hot. I would definitely recommend this Jack's location to everyone I know. read more

If you've ever eaten at Hardee's, you've eaten at Jack's. There is nothing new about their concept. Biscuits in the morning and burgers in the afternoon. *yawn* Now that that's out of the way... The biscuits - A bit flat. But at least they weren't greasy. The gravy - Again, flat. And watery. No flavor and of the powdered mix variety. (I must also share there was disappointment in the fact the gravy serving wasn't enough to cover half a biscuit. Major upset when the kid orders a biscuit and gravy plate. Major.) The sausage - Actually, not bad! The hash browns - Typical. Round. But not greasy. The eggs - Just plain wrong. Holy mother of pearl. What the hell are these even made of? Are they reconstituted powder? Are they the bagged liquid variety? Are they the tears of chickens in heaven crying for what their children have become? Whatever they are, they're icky. Pass. I did appreciate the fact the place was well lit and seemed cleaner than most fast food chains. It's not that the food was horrible (except those eggs), it was just average and predictable. There were only two people ahead of me in line to order, but the process took forever. When I finally ordered and paid, I waited 15 minutes to get a burger and fries. Not acceptable. The burger was mediocre at best, as were the frozen French fries. For the price, it's way less expensive to go a few doors down to Cook Out. What made me most upset was that the big screen tv in the dining area was showing Fox News. Why a business owner or franchisee would put that divisive news channel on the tv is beyond me. They obviously had cable or else they wouldn't have had Fox News on, so you mean to tell me out of 200 or so channels they couldn't put on a channel that isn't so right-leaning and racist. The group of people I was with all got up and walked out once we saw Fox news was on the restaurant's tv. We've come through here a couple of times a month since they've opened. Initially, the food was great - tasty, hot burgers that Surly BF would get off I-75 for and a decent chicken sandwich for me. We have noticed a steady decline in food quality of late; the last two times we've been here, my chicken patty was pounded within an inch of its life and was 95% breading, and the proceeding visit received lukewarm, rubbery chicken tenders that couldn't manage to hang on to their coating. This is surprising to us considering we usually arrive during weekend lunch rush. Are we in the minority of folks ordering chicken? That wouldn't explain the room temperature, stale fries we received on our most recent visit. At least the burgers are still decent, and staff members are friendly and efficient, so we'll probably keep coming when we're in the neighborhood, though I'll probably stash a protein bar in my purse to snack on while Surly's eating lunch. Very unprofessional, was missing things out of my order i waited to ask for them at the counter and was ignored by the "manager" she went and sat down after seeing me waiting to speak with someone. After my second time going to ask for my missing items a guy with headphones in (who was also singing and cussing out loud with them in) came up to me and took his headphone out of one ear and asked "do you need something". We had horrible service. Came here on Super Bowl Sunday to eat while watching the game. We ordered a bakers dozen biscuits along with 4 other meals only to get back and realize they had not given us any of the extra biscuits (not to mention sauces or silverware) The guy who ordered went back up there, which was about 10 minutes from our hotel, with the receipt. Only to be told they would not give him the biscuits because he didn't bring all of the food with him! The other 3 people were supposed to also let their food get cold apparently because of their oversight. He missed kick off, and got back with no biscuits. Stop for lunch while passing thru. Never had been there before so we decided to give it a try. What a great place with great food. The lady taking care of the seating area had to be the friendliest person in this country. She really enjoyed her job and taking care of the customers. We would definitely be going back.
