They did the job and left, but because they wound the cables incorrectly the counterweight hit the ground. They put tenants in danger, and refused to repair their own faulty work because they "don't warranty work without a contract." Do not trust these people. They will charge you for shoddy work, put people in danger, and refuse to take accountability for their own mistakes.

They rarely showed up to work on it. They would go multiple days at a time without updating anyone in the building, the building manager included. If you want totally unreliable service that leaves your elevator broken, then sure, hire these morons. If you want your elevators actually working and serviced properly, find literally anyone else.

More concerning, when an elevator malfunctions, customers can face weeks-long delays before a technician arrives to address the problem. What is most troubling is the impression that maintaining existing equipment and ensuring customer safety have become secondary priorities. Rather than providing prompt, reliable service, the company appears far more focused on selling new installations and upgrades. For a business entrusted with something as essential as elevator safety, that is deeply disappointing. I can no longer recommend their services.

TRE cost us a lot of money trying to figure out really complex workarounds to fix the elevator. Thankfully, we only wasted our money trying one of them (which cost thousands of dollars and didn't work). TRE suggested that we consider replacing a major component of the elevator with a used part (since you can't find new replacement parts). Rather than do that, we decided to get a second opinion (and eventually changed vendor). Good thing we did because, through the new vendor, we discovered that the elevator manufacturer had actually recommended replacing another significant component in the elevator *15 years* ago b/c it could short-circuit as it ages. Never heard any of that from TRE. Would not recommend this vendor.

I mean, there's nothing that they can do. There's just there's a lot of dogs and there's a lot of barking when you have pets like that and you have a property that's managed to such. AKA: TKE Elevator Burbank…read more WARNING: Beware of their service contract. Our property owner is stuck with a service contract and this unresponsive vendor (TKE Elevator Burbank). Funny thing, our elevator was working before TKE showed up for UNSCHEDULED "routine maintenance", left in a hurry with the elevator shut down. Elevator in our apartment building has been down for 4 days now. There are disabled people that need the elevator for safety reasons and TKE Elevator has been unresponsive to repair requests for 3 days. We're on day 4, and finally received an update that parts have been ordered. We're to get an ETA for repair once the parts are received. We have no idea how many more days the elevators will be down. It's very stressful when you've had strokes and it's dangerous to simply get around, and add to that, climbing stairs. TKE needs to improve their customer care practices. UPDATE: we've now been stuck with no elevator for a week. My husband is disabled and now been hurt coming down the stairs. Still no ETA for the ordered part or elevator repair!

You're on endless holds, no one has come out, they never call you back when they say they will. The technicians they use bill you for overtime when they haven't fixed the issues. We spent 10000s with them. And this is by far the worst customer service ever. If you want something not fixed- call them.
