Lindsay gives you the tools, skills, and mindset to make a long lasting change in your lifestyle. During the course of the 6 weeks, I lost 8+ lbs and now (more than 3 months later) I'm still continuing to lose weight by following what she taught me. I plan to be at my goal weight in the next 3 months (in time for my wedding!) And most importantly, I feel fantastic!!!!! I feel like a whole new person. With Lindsay's program, I feel confident that this is something I can keep up with long term and I have already seen amazing results. Not only do I notice a physical change, but mentally I feel so much better as well. I am sleeping better and have more energy. As other reviewers have said, this is not a strict or fad diet but a different way of life. I eat out a lot and starting this program I was worried I wasn't going to be able to do that. However, Lindsay taught me some tips and tricks so that I can still eat out, drink and socialize but still eat healthy and it can still taste good. Rebecca is leading me on a journey to do just that. She identified my core problems with food, mainly that I was prone to over-restricting (and therefore under-eating) with intermittent binges. After only a few sessions with Rebecca, I feel so much happier and healthier. Until Rebecca identified my emotional eating habits, I did not realize that I was using food to stifle difficult feelings. Now Rebecca is working with me to help me get in touch with my "intuitive eater." My only regret is that I did not have time for more sessions this summer, since I will be returning to school soon. But Rebecca has promised to stay in touch via email, Skype, and phone, and after only a week away she has stayed true to her promise. Rebecca can help you get to the bottom of your problems with food, and she will guide you in developing a lifestyle plan that works for you and your body. I was dealing with significant pain and was unable to really function as a person, not to mention work -- and was told by numerous doctors that my only choice was invasive and often-dangerous major surgery. When I came to Dr. Marie, she obviously had either treated patients with my condition before, or had done a great deal of research. Her therapies have been effective, have not caused any side-effects that I've noticed, and have left me feeling energized. She didnt make me feel bad about it, either. she worked with my already idiotic diet - and improved it. She gave me step-by-step instructions what to do, when to eat what and menus I could handle with alternatives. She didnt send me to a "Go to the website" like my GI Dr. did. Elizabeth did NOT feel criticized, belittled, she did not patronize me. I truly felt I had someone on MY SIDE while I was going through a bad time. This - after months of stomach issues, all the GI tests the medicare would pay for, medications etc. I did have to learn to eat differently, read labels, eat regularly and avoid a lot of the stuff I like.
